Hey guys.. I was using my TomTom the other day and realized I couldn't adjust my backlight with the HTC Home Today Plug-In. I went to manually change it with the Backlight program under Settings and this is what I got:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
This is on a Sprint Mogul by the way. The backlight works perfectly fine because in the camera application it turns itself all the way up. Any idea on why I can't adjust it? It won't go up at all at my own will.
bump......?
Nobody has any input on this? I didn't think it would be that hard of a thing to resolve. I hope I don't have to hard reset.
*sigh*...
Ok.. got it to work.. well not really, but I can adjust the brightness from the HTC Home Plug-in now. I reinstalled it to a different version since my Weather wasn't working and now the Brightness is working too. Yay!

Thanks,

Half lock screen
I have the same problem on the same build on HD2. The lock screen and the key board to enter the password is partially displayed. Can anyone help on how to fix this?
If I change the screen resolution as specified in AmericanAndroid post, the lock screen issue is resolved, but icons become very large which I don't want!
Thanks
So I've got the new CleanROM 7 from Scott and am loving it!
One thing I just recently noticed though is that the lock screen shows temp in Celsius. Anyone know where the setting is to change that to Farenheit? I've done some searching in the forums and the dev thread and have come up empty.
Screenshot with Celsius temperature:

Go into weather, then settings, then temperature scale.

Thanks! It seems so simple but I never knew there was an actual app. I assume this also governs the widgets I don't use. :-\
Woke up to this all new split screen view this morn where half the screen looks like static on a tv screen. No drops or anything. I was really trying to hold out for Pixel3... no warranty on VZ and they offered me a replacement for $150 (I think not). Rebooted and no dice. Any ideas?... is this a software issue that maybe a master reset can fix? Or am I really SOL here?
Good thing is, the static half is still responsive so I can use it off memory. I’m on the Android P Beta if that matters.

So I've set up all my Apps to ignore the Camera when in landscape mode and fill the screen all the way using GoodLock. The only thing I can't seem to set up that way is my keyboard, hence the white bar on the left. Has anyone found a way to have the keyboard stretch all the way across the screen?
I've also been experiencing this issue. And I don't recall it being like this before. Don't know what option I changed, if I even did. If anyone can help, that would be awesome!
Open developer settings (if you don't have developer setting, google how to open it). Find “simulate display cutout” (or something like that, I have different language on my phone) and choose “waterfall cutout”.
