XDA Live has come to the Tilt....
This ROM is based on the at&t (AKU 0.4.4) Rom.
It has been debranded cosmetically, this is intended for Tilt Owners who want a lite version of the Tilt ROM.
Everything that has been removed can be added back via cabs (see link at the end of this post)
On a fresh configuration (hard reset), I have 163.12 mb of free storage memory out of 164.91 mb total!

REQUIREMENTS:
1. Have Hard SPL on your Phone.
2. Read about and Understand the risks of Flashing Roms to your phone.
3. Understand that this Rom is currently in the development cycle. I plan for a new point version (v1.0, v1.1, v1.2 etc) to be released each Wednesday until it is at a point where this is no longer neccessary or feasible. So back-up your personal data preferably using either your PC (Outlook for PIM) or an Exchange Server as there have been reports that some PIM backups from other roms can cause problems (such as the SOD).
4. The new at&t Radio (1.27.14.09).
5. Report your experiences here.

UPDATE -- my activesync now freezes on "retrieving settings" -- but works if I uncheck "Enable advanced network functionality" ... this is a new wrinkle. (though maybe not a big deal).

Yeah, that was one of the upload problems I was having. Successfully uploaded the no radio version to RapidShare this morning and enabled the link.

I am using windows xp professional ... did not have this issue with v 1.1 ... but the reality is it doesn't really trouble me. new ROM is working great so far!

Oh ok... I thought maybe there was some other application out there people prefer. Thanks, I'll give it a try.
I have the v1.1 ROM and a handful of applications loaded on my phone, including TCPMP, and my video performance is terrible. The frame rate is very slow and the video lags behind the audio.
I didn't have a similar issue with the original ROM. Is there anything I can do/install/modify to improve performance?

Older version are known to run better than the newer versions
Try the CORE Player if all else fails

Very fast and stable so far. The only thing I haven't gotten to work are the sliding sounds, I tried the restore from the wiki and the install went fine but the shortcut doesn't show up in the settings
Ok -- I did something bad to this ROM --- now I get the SOD every time I use the power button to turn off the screen. I will do a HR and try to see which app crapped it out (unless others are having this problem too). I never had the SOD on v 1.1, and installed the same package of apps.
By the way, does someone have the sim manager as a cab to install?

Version 0.72RC1. I also tried Core Player, and if anything, it played even worse. WMP refuses to play them at all. I'm thinking there is something fundamental missing (like a codec or something), but I'm not techie-informed enough about these devices to know what to do.

I will add the wifi on/off bubble to the second post for a temporary fix of the wifi issue. As for the mommy file it is part of arcsoft mms.
NO AUDIO!
No go with those of us who upgraded to radio 1.27.14.09 ... Absolutely no audio of any sort.. speaker disabled. Like the other roms, I bet we need to switch radio versions back to 1.27.12.XX for the audio to work properly with this rom.

It doesn't work with the latest radio, the only rom that works with the latest radio is the AT&T rom which my rom is not derived from.
Downloading now but I would like to mention although you have stated the newer radio version is not compatible with this release I have found it to be superior so you might consider this for your next release.
i have tried this rom out for a bit and find that it is very nice. fast and seems like a semi-lite rom to me, not alot of crap you dont need. one thing tho is that the 14.09 radio does seem to be a big improvement over the 12.11, just something to consider for next release.

Well, it's running pretty well for me so far. I removed a load of bits and added a few packages for my own personal taste, and it's about as solid as any Kaiser ROM I've used - and possibly a little quicker.

That was my purpose of leaving in the .rgu's and proxml files.... Its a start, I basically wanted a basic ROM with a few goodies, now I am working on customizing the look with my new Adobe CS3 software
There must be something not right with .net. I tried installing .new 2.0 along with 3.5 and I am not able to some of my applications like banakarama and Schaps adv. config.
"cannot open "*". A critical component missing.....
My text goes away when I used the slide our keyboard. I can't see what I'm typing or options in drop-down menus and stuff like that.

I'm not sure why bankarama is not working....just tried myself and got the same error message????
ABout Shaps Adv Config use the Kaiser Tweak installed already in the tools menu and it works fine. Personally I like Kaiser Tweak better as if something changes you only need to change the XML file.....

Thanks for the imput....didn't even notice that when I tried....just so used to using my stylus now I don't use the keyboard that much. I"ll look into that also......

i had the same problem but ive come to notice that only happen when u have the cleartype turned on for landscape mode , im guessing its an issue with the roms cuz ive had the same issue with more dan one....... try turning off the clear type and im sure ull see some improvement
ROM has a very nice feel to it. After trying several PP sizes, it works fastest for me set to dynamic. No issues to report as yet. Good job...

No other radio works only 1.65
Intro
Welcome one and all to my very first ROM release. Since AT&T pushed out their official WM 6.1 release, I have been hard at working cutting it down into the kind of ROM that I like, lightweight. These two ROMs are the fruits of labor, released straight to XDA for your flashing pleasure.

Description of ROMs
I have built my ROMs to be lightweight, but only to the point of sanity. As such, I have removed essentially all of the AT&T bloat and left a few remnants of the HTC software. The only difference between the two versions is the inclusion of Office. The clean ROM does not include Office, and the standard version of it does include Office (and One Note).
There are no radios included in either of these ROMs. I am using the Radio From Hell simply because it was the one that AT&T initially included with the ROM, but any Windows Mobile 6.1 compatible radio should work.

In my effort to keep this lightweight, I did not include a nice skin for the Comm Manager, however akadonny's Diamond skin works really great with my ROM, and I highly recommend it. It is attached to this post.
Bugs:
Cingular proxies are broken in the ROM. Temporary fix is to disable them (with the file attached). A fixed version will be released shortly.

Larger, non-dynamic pagepool's also tend to cause memory leaks.
Intro
Welcome one and all to my second ROM release. The changes to this ROM compared to my last ROM are all fairly minor, and are primarily small cosmetic changes and one bug fix. You can find all the details in the third post.

Description of ROMs
I have built my ROMs to be lightweight, but only to the point of sanity. My end goal was to produce a ROM that was as bare as it could be. As such, I have removed essentially all of the AT&T bloat and left a few remnants of the HTC software (Mostly stuff related to settings of the phone). However, once I finished the ROM, I wanted to make life a bit easier for myself, so I created the Standard ROM, which includes a few of the apps that I figured I would always want to have on my phone.
Differences Between the ROMS:
*Standard ROM includes Office + One Note
*Standard ROM includes Sliding Sounds
*Standard ROM includes HTC Camera v5.04
Basically, the Clean ROM is devoid of anything that can easily be added back with a CAB file, and the Standard ROM is like a completely debranded AT&T device.
NOTE: There are no radios included in either of these ROMs. I am using the Radio From Hell simply because it was the one that AT&T initially included with the ROM, but any Windows Mobile 6.1 compatible radio should work.

Edit 2: Sliding Sounds working, but Sliding Sounds not in Settings. It is in Registry, I can go in and change from there, but not finding the aplet.

Here's the Arcsoft MMS version (with SMS/MMS combined) I have found that has worked best with this ROM: Arcsoft MMS 5.0.31.7_Alex. I tried other versions that hung when I tried to apply AT&T settings.
Probably Arcsoft 4.2.8.1 will work as well, it is very reliable IMO - it's the one with SMS and MMS split, if you like it that way. YMMV.
I was looking for a ligth, stable, up to date ROM...maybe this is it?
Is this based on the latest 6.1 AT&T ROM?
Should it work with non Tilit-Kaiser devices?

Yes this is a Ultra Clean stripped down AT&T Official 6.1 and It will work if your HARDSPL to 3.56. For AT&T it will work just as so. Flash your own radio!
Just curious - why did you remove HTC Quick GPS? Does that program not help get GPS lock faster anymore?

I really like v1.2 Standard. Everything you have stripped, and what you have kept or upgraded (Camera) is perfect for me.
Will you be doing the same with the official AT&T 3.57?

This looks nice, I liked the "upgrades" but I can't really tell much a difference from normal att rom. There are somethings faster like opening IE and other apps and stuff, but there is one pretty bad thing. Opening my tilt to go to landscape takes about 8 seconds. Sure that doesn't seem long but considering it took about half that on other rooms it sure seems like a long time waiting.
Also still having trouble with Beejive and MASPware GPSmeter. Has something to do with SQLCE, Thought for sure it would work since I saw
"SQLCE Mobile v3.0"
I also noticed when I upgraded on the program before it actually flashes it said it was going to upgrade to "1.00.000.0" was kind of thinking it would show something more like "1.2......" or whatever.
Anyways, thanks for the ROM, I'll keep messing around with it.

The ROM will startup without the HTC panels, because they considerably slow the device down. You can either turn them on with the CHomeConfigurator or choose the full theme in the settings.
If you want to use the Weather panel you have to install the Weather CAB in "My Documents" and restart. It'll start the Weather service on startup so you can update the weather.
Unfortunately it also starts HTCActivityLogExe.exe which makes the device slow and unstable (that's the hanging thing in explorer etc.). If you use the SMS and EMail panels it'll start this too.
If you do not want weather any more just disable the panel and uninstall the CAB.

If you experience problems with display timeout:
You can re-enable the display time out by installing this CAB. You can install it again and again if the value gets deleted.
There is a reg file in the archive. If you have a registry editor installed you can just import that.
Or do it yourself by going to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\Power
and create a new DWORD called Display and give it a value. The value will be the display time out in seconds.
Unfortunately some programs which keep back light on will overwrite or delete it so you have to do it over and over again.
IMPORTANT
Opera mini should NOT be pre-installed. Since installing the 0.3 rom I have on numerous occasions ended up in someone else's facebook account, and just got confirmed that one of these used this exact rom as well. The reason is probably that Opera asks you to enter a string of random characters upon install, and we've now all got that same "identifier" which leads to the same cached sites being sent to all of us. Please remove it Frauhottelman, and I advice anyone to re-install Opera Mini before using it with any password-protected sites.

Mh OK, then I'll throw it out.
I'll do it differently: I'll put the jar file in documents and leave the shortcut in the start menu, so all you have to do is install opera mini first and then the short cut should still work.
OK, I changed Opera Mini. It is still included, but on first start it'll install normally (including the random numbers)! First part is online, the second is still uploading!

fh: Just one question - is the right soft key issue solved ? I Hope it is . Then I can change my ROM once again. using fb's 1.3 for last 10 days or so, pretty long I guess
The problem was previousely with:
Total Commander: Allways.
File Explorer: Most of the times
And that was not the case with your ROM only. It was with all Rose ROMs .
