Xbox Live Friend Tracker - General Topics

I've searched the net all morning and I can't find anything available yet...
Adam Kinney (Microsoft) created a sidebar gaget for Vista that tracks 'Xbox Live' friend's online status. Really neat application.
Is there an application/plugin similar for the phone (8925) that can send a notification (via text message or pop-up) to show me when someone joins up on LIVE?
BTW, thanks to everyone for adding to this great site and there personal time spent helping the rest of us!

The Pocket PC Geeks Podcast. 11/18/09

Hey everyone.
Incase any of you don't know, my name is Laos101, and I'm one of the news writers at Pocket PC Geeks, one of the fellow sites along with XDA that go really in depth with pocket pcs, and other mobile devices.
Anyways, a few weeks ago, I had a thought, and really wondered why it hadn't been done before. Why hadn't there been any really user-based Pocket PC Podcasts out there?
Sure, there's engadget, TWiT, and others. But they don't see our side. There's an entire world of windows mobile that often gets shrouded away. So this does its best to bring forth the world of mobile devices from this view. We discuss all thing Android, Iphone, and of course, Windows Mobile / Windows Phone.
We have a wide variety of guests but are always looking for more people to join us. Right now our guest list comprises of only CDMA Windows Mobile users, Im trying to expand it to both GSM and other mobile devices to give a very dynamic experience and such.
If interested, the show is every wednesday at 9PM EDT (That's 6pm PDT and 5-6 AM Europe, sorry folks, right now you'll need to listen via recording rather live) we run live for about an hour and change, and its always a good listen
This will be our second show, but the difference is that it will be live (The first one was recorded due to technical difficulties) and it will also be on a weekly schedule like this as it works best for most of our guests already.
We discuss a lot of things, mostly whatever we find on the ppcg site that comes in news-wise and whatever else we see on the other sites.
If you're interested in coming on, all you need is a microphone, skype, and to PM me.
I welcome anybody to come on ustream on wednesday and join the fun!
Here is the ustream link: http://www.ustream.tv/channel/ppcgp
See you there!
Laos101.
P.S. Here is our first show, its in a temporary MP3, as future versions will be recorded to Ustream
We're LIVE NOW! Be sure to come on by! We've got some great guests (Mighty Mike, Cornelius) and more should be on later!
http://www.ustream.tv/channel/ppcgp
We're about to discuss AT&T and their rebounding ad!
I'm listening to it right now! Please put it on itunes and zune eventually.
We will
Will you also have a regular mp3 download and rss feed?
RSS feed is up, check often for MP3s and such

We'll be up again tommorow! Be sure to come on down!
9pm EDT, 8pm CDT

Hey!
If you're a regular fan, or just interested in our brand new weekly audio podcast, the PPCGP, be sure to come on down to Ustream now! We're airing live this very moment.
It's an auidio only stream, so skyfire may be able to take it, otherwise just head on your nearest PC and get listening!

[App] Zazu, the smartest damn alarm clock!

Hi guys,
I posted here several months ago searching for beta users to an app I've been helping out with.
For those of you that don't remember,m Zazu is a mobile app that is capable of verbally waking you up in the morning to your calendar, email, weather and news! It released in the Android Market earlier this week. The basic app is free, and I’ve been told later this week they will be releasing features like calendar integration, advanced RSS controls, better voices, etc.
I’ve been testing the full version for some time now and have even played with some of the features they are releasing shortly as indicated in an email they sent last night. It's incredibly useful to have the weather read to me as I'm getting out of bed, followed by my calendar appointments, so I know when and where I have to be for my meetings. I also get some comic relief the mornings I don't want to wake up...thanks to the Onion's rss feed. The current voice is so-so but while testing Zazu, they showed us some pretty sexy voices so I’m guessing that’s on its way soon!
All-in-all, it's a kick ass app with some very promising features, wanted to share as I thought you may all enjoy it as well!
hey guys,
i also just found out that zazu's giving away free coffee to people that are trying out zazu for a while. try it out!

meet droplat

Hi everyone!
I'm writing to introduce "droplat," a new app available in the Android Market and V CAST App Store.
droplat is a location-based file sharing service that enables people to share files with others nearby. Users "check in" at a location to see the files that people are sharing. You can also leave files at a physical location for up to 2 weeks in a "Fog" that's visible to anyone that checks into the area. It provides a great way to transform real-life experiences, like concerts, sporting events, and so much more.
Check out our quick intro video on YouTube, "Meet droplat - Big Concert"
(sorry, it won't let me post a direct link...but you can find it by searching for droplat on the YouTube site)
droplat is currently a finalist in Verizon's "V CAST Apps: Power Your Apps Contest," where we are going head-to-head with 4 other apps for the grand prize. If you have access to the V CAST App Store, please consider voting for droplat in this contest!
If you're the early-adopter type, and can stomach a few bugs, we'd love to have you as part of the founding members.
All feedback welcome! Thanks for your time,
- droplat team
Just testing the application as i like the idea.
Stil a lot fo unexpeccted errors coming up. As in uploading something but getting an error or even by searching for fogs.

Looks like the development for this app has gone quiet.
Can't create an account, can't link to facebook - it just gives error messages saying it can't connect.
Little help?

[APP][2.3+] Kites - making location based messages more relevant

Hi guys, long time reader, first time poster here (which means unfortunately i can't post links - darn)!
I have just finished my first (big) app and am really proud of it and will be releasing in the coming weeks. I would love for people to help beta test it.
The app is called Kites. To cut a long story short, Kites lets you leave messages for people at specific locations. The recipients can either view these on a map or be notified when they get near. For example, you can leave a reminder for your partner at the supermarket and they will get it when they get there. So no more excuses as to why they 'forgot' to buy your chocolate milk
Check it out at kites.rockolabs.com - its still in beta so please join our g+ community to get access..its all on the website!
We also have a promo video up:
Hope you like it
Just learnt how to post videos so bumping so people can see it
Like your concept. Good luck!
Says the video is private
