Hello, we're working on making our tornados sdhc compatible, so could anyone upload me these files taken from a VOX Rom??

Be carefull with file OMAP850_SDHC_MUX.DLL, if it was taken from HTC 1.15 rom, it`s buggy file. A lot of problems we have in vox with that file in this rom.

Hello, thanks for help guys I've taken my files from HTC_Vox_ARA_1.27.415.4_4.1.13.47_02.98.90 so is it buggy? Because I don't generally know much about Vox roms because my phone is Tornado and i just need a few files to try making SDHC available. I've got another request, could anyone make me a full registry dump of Vox? I mean one saved in a .reg file or anything readable if you don't know how i'll try to explain. Thanks in advance jockyw2001, where did you take your files from ? are they better than mine taken from HTC_Vox_ARA_1.27.415.4_4.1.13.47_02.98.90? Greetings

Not to worry, files from ARA 1.27 look to be ok, no problems with these on this rom. Only files from 1.15 are no good to be used in development.

What for a ROM you´re trying to cook? Which application included? How much free space in the ROM?

If you are cooking a 2002 rom make sure you leave some space.

Lumpi , First of all thanks for your Kitchen and ur hard work..
but the last time I was cooking a rom (last week) T mobile Rom 4.01.00 with the Windows Mobile Boot screen image and the 4.01.16 with the o2 Boot screen those images didn't show up I got instead T-mobile bootscreen.
At the end the Rom what's important to me but still there should be some fix for that, Thank you again for the Kitchen I hope to see soon the WM2003 SE in it hopefully.
I was trying to cook the rom 3.17.03 ENG O2-Euro.
the gauge for the free space was about 300k left after configuring the software of the rom.

Ok. I made an hint, that with the XDA-Developers Autoconfig you have to let about 450kB free for cooking. I'm sorry, that i can't change this. Then it should work. The error of the missing config files will still be there. This is more work for me. But it should only concern the german autoconfiguration...

I had a lot of problems cooking ROMs because the languages are in other languages:
In Pocket PC kitchen I cooked 3.17.03 ENG O2-Euro, which as mentioned in its name should be in English, but it turned out to be in French!
In the Pocket PC 2003 kitchen I cooked 4.01.00 ENG beta which also should be in English but is in German.
Is there something I am not setting up correctly?

I'm sorry, but i can't believe this. Have you tried to look at the log after cooking the rom? There is an output of the BAse Rom you cooked.
Many Users are using the kitchen, but i never heard of this problem. Which browser are you using?

My brawser is IE 6.0.2800
It is very strange because i tried not only once but several times cooking both roms and upgrading them to the phone, but with the same result.

What can i do now?
I cannot remove the French ROM. When I am trying to upgrade it with another ROM it says Unsupported language 'FRA'.
Can you suggest how i might fix this.
P.S. - the ROM i want to backup to is in the *.exe format
I think, you have to use adapt rom, or flash your device using an SD-Card. Therefor you have to extract the exe-File with winzip, and copy the NK.nbf file via xdatools to an SD-Card.
There are many threads about this..

Kitchen should also work for XDA2 ROMS. But in the moment, there are only XDA1 Roms in it. Also you normally don't have the nessesary of doing this since the XDA2 has enough space.....

well some programs you can download and install in your ram but rom can only be writen to when you flash the rom and you can only flash the whole rom at once

The REAL WM6 Prophet S200 Thread!!!

So this is what i figured out after spending hours on this forum, reading and posting questions.
NO ONE HAS A WM6 ROM for the Qtek S200 a.k.a HTC PROPHET
I have found a PERFECTLY STABLE Rom for the Qtek 9100 a.k.a HTC WIZARD which is remarkable, but nothing for the s200/prophet.
Yet there are two threads open about it.
links that break mid-way, and nothing CONCRETE about it.
So either someone posts something REAL, or please close all discussions leading people to beleive that there is something WORKING.....
I am sorry but i feel like i am wasitng my time beleiving i will acutally find something...

yes ... there is a rom how suport it is orwells1984.rar but have many bugs!

I'm pretty sure that you need all the files that come in the RAR - I tried deleting a folder from the rar and the 'BuildOS' program proceeded to crash miserably
So if Midget or Leo could advice as to how I should split the kitchen on my server, that would be most helpful

About the kitchen release
Hi all,
Hope you all understand, but I only modified the kitchen a bit so that it run. I builded one rom without adding or removing OEM's.
I was very happy when I flashed and saw it running myself, so I decided to share with you all.
This is the first kitchen release based on another rom!
I want to support you all, but I also do have problems with adding or removing OEM's.
I'm working on this, and when I find out I'll let you know.

I've started going through seeing what I can remove from my own ROM before adding my OEMs; I'll upload the 'super-vanilla' for anyone that wants to have a look or take to add their own OEMs.
As for how to make OEMs, I learned from reading the instructions of Helmi in his first post on the original kitchen and by looking at existing OEMs to see how they were made.

If you could do this, I would be a happy man
And even better, If you have access to a norwegian RUU (rom upgrade utility) for your kaiser (Im not sure, but maybe you can get it from htc e-club. http://member.htc.com/member/login.aspx?fm=eu&ln=en
register if you havnt allready, and see if there is a download
other option is contact support via email and ask for a ruu, cause your device has locked, and you need to flash it back
any of theese would be greatly appreciated
If you look in the windows folder of all Tytn II rom there are some cabs that are installed on a hardreset. One is named configure_key.cab
Could that cab install the country specific keymappings?

There isn't RUU for new devices on htc club. Only for upgrade when htc deploy new functionality on the same version of windows mobile (as gps update for P3600 Trinity) or new version of windows mobile.

It may make it clearer on how you can get from either your Rom update program with exe extension all the way to the dump file. All the tools needed are also provided in the above two threads.

I'm happy to take part also, being I'm a 7510 owner already posting. This is something that I probably cannot attempt without a PC handy for the next week or so. Of note, none of the support disks that came with the phone had the stock ROM in .exe format on them. Was that the same for all?

tried it and it says my device could be application-locked. the hard-spl for x75xx does not currently work with x7510.
I also wait for an improved ROM for X7510.
The original one is not cooked enough

also, the HardSPL for x7500 does not work with x7510. i noticed that when i put my x7510 in bootloader mode, it shows ATHE400, which is different from the x7500 and x7501., ATHE100.

Anywhere should work, really. Standard ones include RapidShare and MegaUpload. I'm pretty sure there are plenty of others.

Try a PM to CMONEX, she is really good in SPL knowledge, OLIPRO is really skilled too (they work together too using with OLINEX as username) but is harder to get in contact with

just rename part02.raw to imgfs.bin and then you can dump the rom using imgfstodump.exe
