Its downloading fine man, but how in gods name is it only 12.8 MB??? its UK english right? can i flash this ROM on the HTC TYTN II boought from Hong Kong which has a chinese ROM installed?

but seems the testdump or grab_it don't work on Kaiser, it's only 12.1M, I think the ROM size must large than 50M even compressed by WINRAR

I am also searching for the WWE ROM version for my HTC TyTN II (Kaiser)
Currently i am stuck with a Dutch version. At the moment i bought my model, the WWE wasn't available there
If any have a version ready to use, i would be gladdly to use it

why dont you take a look there you will find all that you need! As of right now there is no way to reconstruct a dumped rom so even if you have a dump of a rom you cant flash it back to your Kaiser!
Hi, i'm requesting for a chinese rom image for the kaiser, it can be either simplified or, traditional. Thanks in advance!!!!! I think i saw some people having problems with rom's extraction or what not, i'm a bit confused as to what they were talking about but i don't wanna brick my device since i moved from 8125, to Hermes, now to Kaiser........and been successful, i've already flash one of my kaiser to original rom, but i just got another Kaiser and i need to make is have chinese on there for a friend, Please someone help me,

Me too, I flashed my Kaiser from Traditional Chinese to English, and it is now working perfectly. However, I do want to have a Chinese, hopefully Traditional Chinese, ROM "backup" so that I can flash my Kaiser back to Chinese before I take it back to HTC for repair.
Please do share with us.

I have the 1010 version and I am trying to figure out how to dump the rom out since I want to flash mine to English. Will post it once I have it dump out.

bokingwen, thanks for the info, but ultimate posted the dump rom in July, I am afraid it is qute a old version. I bought my Kaiser/TyTN II in Hong Kong in mid October, it is a standard unlocked TyTN II with Traditional Chinese ROM. A few days later, I dumped the ROM, and flashed it with HTC standard English ROM. It is working fine for me now.
However, I need to get my ROM dump into an executable image so that I can restore my TyTN Ii if I need to take it back to HTC for repair. Do you , or someone out there, knows how to do it. I followed the instructions in the other thread in this forum to revert the ROM but with no luck. Since then, I gave up, and wait for someone kind enough to post the file in the forum.

Hello,
With my understanding. No one successful make a working Chinese raw ROM back to flashable ROM. Since the ROM has some problem.
I have one rebuild by imgfs tools 2.1rc2. But it lost almost all HTC customization except HTC home. It may caused by imgfstools shrink the storage rom or other reason. It is unknown now.
I am planning to fix the ROM but searching for hint here.

Good info I guess I can save my time on working on the rom, looks like it is not going to work. I was going to flash mine to English ROM too.
I'm confused as to what you guys are talking about...I'm currently downloading the two ROM DUMPS, and so they aren't executables i suppose, so......are they tested as working ones, or there are a few errors in them?????
Like, what can i do...except the SPL thing to install the rom........are u guys saying that there is no way currently (as of right now) to flash a Kaiser to Chinese Rom easily?
As i understand is that, we have the files of the ROM, but we can't create the EXE to make it run and put the ROM in?

I think the current status of Chinese ROM are:
1. You are dump the ROM from the Chinese version of Kaiser/TyTn II.
2. However no one is able to turn these dumped ROM to a flashable ROM.
3. You are right there is no way to flash a Chinese ROM back to the Kaiser, yet?

The name of the rom is:
"KaiserCHTReconstructedROM.rar"
Should be Traditional Chinese ROM.

3 dosent have a branded rom, they use stock rom

It's a newer build than before...

CE 5.2.1236( build 17741.0.2.1)
Rom Version : 1.22.61.3
Operator Ver : 22.122.1.613
Radio Version: 4.1.13.41_02.88.90
Seems alot better to use than the old one too...
But....
I wish to dump and create a re-constructed rom for all those "warranty replacement" issues and also poss put onto my other work phone...

you also need to run sda unlock to make sure its fully unlocked, when youve dumped the rom im the one who created all the other roms for orange so if you could upload the part01.raw and part02.raw to rapidshare and send me link ill get it reconstructed in no time at all.

I am trying to unlock my phone. However the link for downloading radio rom 1.27.12.29 in this web site is not valid. I couldn't flash the radio rom back to original and i am stuck in step 10 of Kaiser Sim Unlocker v0.1.
Can someone help me please?

I'm guessing you're on Orange UK? The 1.27.12.29 Radio that came with the Orange UK devices is not available for download separately, however you can use 1.27.12.32 instead. See http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=349375 for more information on radio ROMs.
Alternatively, flash one of the custom 6.1 ROMs here and use 1.64.08.21 - I do and it works great!

Thanks pal. I will follow your suggestion and update to 6.1 ROMs and use 1.64.08.21. Also If i updated the 6.1 ROM, will it come with TomTom6. As you know, orange have delected the Tomtom application.
u have to check rom thread to see if tomtom is included. if u bought the program u can install to ur device without prob.
I need a hand, I acidently flashed my rom, it won't load anything. anyone know how to get a new rom on there without hard spl installed? it wouldn't install it first hand and I tryed to install it using jump spl1-93 but then it's stopped working.. my rom is 1.27.12.29 any help would be appreciated.
