awesome bro installed it thanks just one question the oem splash creen does it have animation?
its just the orange screen. you have to change the file animated.gif in windows folder, if you want to change the animation

UNI is Universal , I dont have Himalaya but I had Blue Angle , BA cant change splash at all , Himalaya maybe you can seach at www.buzzdev.net or pm to buzz

Yes , WM5 splash located at OS rom not extended rom they are different with WM2003SE
so there is no possibility to replace them?

what you have done actually..
o2 has official rom at o2 site...
o2 germany.. you can download from there..
I have the same problem.
I went back to a pdaviet wm5 version and then applied the official o2 update.
Everything worked fine except for the boot screens. I cannot change the first one (HTC screen).
I'm urgently looking for a working nk.nbf file which will restore my o2 bootscreen (the blue bubble screen) so that I can send in my HTC prophet for waranty.

That's exactly what I did, but this update didn't change the bootscreens back to the o2-ones...

Hyperdragon III sets my first splash screen to "Hyperdragon III". Now with L26 v6 ive the same "hyperdragon III" spalsh screen.
Can someone help me to re-set to the original one "smart mobility" spalsh?

Problem????
Go to your Device's \Application Data\HTC\ProgLauncher Folder and delete all the *.bmg files inside. These are icon caches that will be recreated upon next boot.
You can del SoftReset.bmp in "My Device > Application Data > HTC > ProgLauncher\" folder! Use Icon changer change icon pic! Add Quicklink SoftReset.lnk in Home Tab again!
