If like me you want to get rid of the myfaves icon and have the stock home icon with clock heres what i did.
Get a reg edit tool, use total commander 2.5 beta and make these changes
go to:
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\CHome
inside got CMyFaves- find value Disable Change from 0 to 1
Next:
in same place HKLM\Software\Microsoft\CHome
go to CHome inside is value Disable page change value from 1 to 0
Last:
in same place HKLM\Software\Microsoft\CHome
got CClock change value disable from 1 to 0
and value disable page from 1 to 0
soft reset and enjoy.
P.S. this may be the place that we may need to look for adding customer apps to the Neo UI.
Also in the Startup folder there should be 2 files:
Voicecmd.lnk - This is for Voice Command
SyncManager.lnk - this is for the Tmobile Address Book
you can delete both of those if you want to free up a little more memory at startup

I'm use home screen from t-mobile shadow on my tornado with WM6. But I don't know how to add anybody to Favorits in CMyFaves. I see this plugin on home screen and "ADD FAVORITS" near empty round place with unknown person but can't change or add my contacts to this plugin. Please help.
Are you actually running the CHome on tornado? How did you do that? By the way you can only use MyFaves if you are on T-Mobile USA network and you have MyFaves plan activated.

My friend makes new rom for Tornado based on HTC JUNO. After some tests with me and some other people he will make new thread at forum with this rom.

you mean he has htc juno rom?.. can you / your friend upload the rom. ITs a better idea to port the plugin from htc juno since its unbranded compared to shadow.

Hi guys,
I flashed to the new WM6 ROM, looks gr8, but when I try to change the theme (.tsk) to other themes that I used to have on WM5, the background image does not update...
so is WM6 incompatible with WM5 themes??? I did not install any version of XButton in my ROM...
Whenever I update my theme, I get the HTC default background image but theme colors update correctly...
what is this? any solution?
I have exactly the same problem and anybody knows how can i fix it but i hope that the people of xda can help us

its a known bug that any .tsk that you import wont work, i might be wrong .

What do you mean? I have nearly 250 .tsk files on mine (don't ask, when I get bored I make about 5 new ones, and I get bored a lot) and every one of them work.

edit: just tested the theme from pocketpctheme.com n it doesntt work. Color changes of task bar n start bar but background pic never changes wonder why. that is the only prob I have

Okay, I'm having problems tracking down which process is X-Button to kill it - what's the process name?
Ok i turned of X-Button and restarted my wiz, and then i changed the theme, nothing happened. I don't understand when i load the cab it doesn't extract properly or what.... the start menu that pops down when you click on start seems to get the theme loaded right but the background picture it loads to Default black. i dont understand what is blocking it....

are you trying to be funny? if yes i dont find anything funny to laugh about.... all i want to say is "if you cant help dont bother posting because you are just messing up the thread with bloat full of junk"
This is a known problem when using X-button. Either find the latest version of X-button (1.51 or something similar). Or go to start>settings>system>X-button and uncheck the boxes that says "enable X-button to end programs..."
If you do not have X-button installed, Then try changing your theme, waiting a few minutes and then soft-reset.
Nothin was right about themegence being the best freeware theme maker. I've used it to make every one of mine. If you go to MoDaCo to the Pocket PC Today Screens QVGA in the downloads section I have 30 or 40 of them in there that I've made. I'm going to have to check out where you guys are downloading yours from and see if I can figure out why they aren't working. Usually, at least the ones I've seen, you don't install them from a cab file. They're usually just zipped or a straight tsk file that you put straight in to either the windows folder or in the root folder of you sd card.
Well, I figured that out pretty quick. If you guys are all downloading them from pocketpcthemes.com, they are not working because the wallpaper part of it is not in the right format to fit a wizard. The images are too big so it's not using them, instead it's using the default wallpaper instead. Try downloading from the MoDaCo downloads section that I mentioned in the post just above this one, they should all work. I know that the one's that I made and mandt made will work for sure. I'll try uploading a bunch more there within the next day or 2 also. If there's any at that pocketpcthemes site that you really have to have, I could probably fix a few of them so they will work if you let me know which ones they are.

Here's my first attempt at ROM cooking. Foremost, I must thank all the ROM cookers (you know who you are!) who has given me the inspiration to cook this vanilla edition. Also, thanks to you guys "ROM Junkies" (like me) for giving me the PUSH. The reason I cooked this vanilla edition is because I had always wanted a vanilla version. Secondly, I wanted to have the feel and to understand the effort required to cook a ROM.
This ROM is based on GnatGoSplat's WM6.1 Clean 5.2.19202 (Build 19202.1.0.0) Eval. I am releasing my vanilla edition with his blessings. Thanks so much Gnat.
What's out:
- the old WM homescreen
- all previous homescreen schemes
- JBed (java)
- Windows Live icons
- no soft-key short-cuts (due to varied devices; please install separately)
- no tweaks included, yet!
What's in:
- Sliding Panel homescreen
- Rinku Bar "ready" (included only the icons - may included full apps in future version)
- Threaded SMS is retained
- xT9 (instead of T9)
Please follow installation process from KarHoe's Guide
The flashing takes a little longer when it is at 100%. Please be patient.
On first reboot you may have a blank homescreen. Go to Settings>Home Screen>change either the Color scheme or Background image and >Done
I dont know why. Probably coz I changed/removed the green scheme.

1 chome operator name it not in the right place and to small to see
2 bootscreens are missing theres is no HTC.gif in \windows\
and oemstartup.dll is allso missing from windows
Bug as in the original ROM. When syncing with Exchange you cannot get passed the password screen as the phone has hung

I think that this are those Vanilla changes... fine to me, because I disable all splash crap.
I think that only universal IME should be installed, without any languages database fot T9,XT9 etc.
I use my country T9 and it is no use for me, as many many non-speaking-english users. Vanilla should be vanilla

I only include Rinku Bars' icons with the intention of installing the full apps in future release. So if you want it now you have to install it separately.
I am also aware of the slow flashing. It was mentioned in the first post too. I am looking for a solution.

I removed the VoIP dll so I am not sure if provisioning works. Have you tried Gnats Eval version?

I hope you could include ROMUpdateUtility to ease the flashing....and is there a way to remove the threaded SMS?
It seems to work well except the font size on the today screen is a bit smaller. Now 8 hours after installation.

1. I forgot to mention that I installed my modified cpr file. Thats why the operator name is not at its original position and the font is thinner. The sliding panel is also slimmer. I also included the bronzeres file that contains more icons.
2. Those were removed to make sure it is vanilla and I think it doesnt impact performance.

illi could you edit your rom so it shows the default bootscreens you no the ones with wm6.1 on it and iv fixed your cpr if you what it ill upload it so you can put it in your next rom

Sorry if this is a question that's been asked before but I can't seem to find it by searching.
I recently installed the mod that allows you to put your wallpaper on all the manila tabs (mUn BackGround4AllPages v.02.cab), but since doing it I've noticed that a border remains at the top of each tab and my wallpaper is cut-off by it.
On my home tab, it doesn't look too bad as the date is shown in this border. Similarly in the music tab it looks kind of intentional as the shuffle and repeat icons are in there. But it looks awful on most other tabs - screenshots below!
Is this to do with the wallpaper mod I installed, or is there something else I can do to extend my wallpaper into this border?

There's a cab floating around called nocurtains.cab.
You might want to try that.

I think that's the old Vodafone TF3D from Diamond...
I found a Vodafone Raphael 1.90.161.5 ROM here...

btw.. you don't have to have a backup manilas to go back to original...
just delete all manila files from windows... (if u have TF3D in the ROM!)
and the original will be there (can't delete ROM files...)

Thanks to maranello's HDWall application at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=3616825, I had managed to create two Manila Touchflo 3D Themes (version 2.1 Touchflo 3D) to share with you guys and gals.
The same background is in all the tabs. Hope you will like it. Here's the link:
I have also included the matching background for your Today (Titanium plugin) and Start Menu background.

1. Disable Manila Touchflo 3D
2. Download the theme zip file you want
3. Copy the jpg files to your \Windows directory
4. Run the CleanReg_Manila_Background.mscr
5. Run the cab file (boats_M21.cap or sunsetM21OT.cab)
6. Soft Reset your device.
7. Enable Manila Touchflo 3D

manila is the technical name for touch flo 3d, the trippy today screen overlay that HTC puts on its phones.

I can't find any cab for Manila TF3D as well, so have to be contented with the roms that had it cooked in.
HELP!!
I installed the theme, but realized that the background was white and couldn't read the messages and appointments..So i uninstalled the theme, but the screen rotates with the g-sensor, causing a lot of delays...Could anyone help me get back to the original TF without the rotation thing...Thanks a lot in advance...

I have not had anyone attempt to load one of my TP2 themes on a Diamond2 yet, It should work as they both run the TF3D 2.1 I would prefer it be someone on a stock rom, so if someone is brave and wants to attempt here is a gift certificate from my site for the theme for free.

These themes work with every providers release of the TP2/Rhodium in one easy .cab install GSM or CDMA It fixs any clock to a flip clock it removes the nasty orange icons from Sprint. it fixs the background for all tabs without any kind of hack has different walls for Port and Landscape. Yes I already have the Leo rom on my HD and have begun sorting all the files. the 1000's of files ...lol OMG the Leo really has alot. I have also been working on the Sense UI and have 2 more themes on the way for the Pro2 and some 6.5 themes on the go as well... just need a twin brother so I can get it all done lol. I hope to have themes for both new versions by the time they are offically released in North America.
O and I still need a tester for a stock Topaz people.... lol

I cant ruin your phone at the worse you will just have to uninstall the cab. TF3D2.1 is the same stock on both devices. So basicly all I really want to know is in the TP2 cab I included a dialer skin for the TP2 if the theme fails on your devices then I will remove the dailer to release the themes for the Topaz or reskin the dialer that is for your phones to match.
