did you mean the sound which comes when the device connect to GPRS or EDGE ??
if yes, this a system sound.
if you like to have a personal sound you can copy it to windows/startup
no, if you copy the sound into startup it will start WMP to play that sound.
When I use some Rom (like Pandora 1.05, NBD or else), I turn off my device and restart it, it'll be ready after a sound "bip" (which is from default.wav in \windows). And I want to change that sound by another one.
Hi guys, have any Omnia user encounter their sound problems?
for eg. while listening to music.. there is no more sound, have to soft reset it..
Hey,
Yes I have the same problems. Any ideas how to solve this without having to restart the phone?
Yes, just make a call (just call and hang up) and the sound will be back...
Annoying bug though, and above all, it's so rare and random that I don't know what causes it...
Hi,
Does anybody know if there is some sort of equalizer application available for the TD2? Prefferably one that works with a2dp. I use my diamond2 to stream music to my Parrot MKI9000 carkit via a2dp. The music sounds good but a little flat. The parrot only has an option to boost the bass. I would like to have a bit more control.
Thanx!!
I tried HD Tweak to activate HTC Booster without the cable headset connected.
But the equalizer settings doesn't have any effects
I also tried SRS WOW, but the 1.5 version was not able to run ...
Hopefully HTC activates the Booster for bluetooth devices with the next ROM.
Got SRS WOW working although a bit buggy
Hi.
I managed to get SRS WOW working. It is a bit buggy.
It doesn't remember all settings after a soft-rest.
Sometimes device won't turn on. Have to soft-reset.
Not all settings have a desired effect. It seems that the equalize options aren't optimized for the Diamond2.
But if you fiddle a bit with the settings you get quite a good sound.
The file attached is the version i got working.
Install the cabs, import the reg file, soft-reset and you're good to go.
Burning Wheels
Do you, or anyone else, happen to know if this will work with the original Touch (elf).
Alternatively can you recommend an equalizer that will work with bluetooth and the Touch
Thanks
I don't know if this works on the Touch (elf). Maybe you can ask this in the Touch (elf) forum.

I have a T-Mobile Shadow which I have just upgraded to WM6.1 with a rom from Erofich and it's great. Problem is the startup sound is really loud. Is there any way to silence the WM6.1 startup sound? It appears to be standard htc sound, so is there a file I can replace with a silent or different sound file?
Any help would be appreciated.

You can use Advanced Configuration 3.0 to add a new start up wav.

I tried installing Advanced Config as suggested but the program won't launch properly. Is that possibly because the phone doesn't have a touch screen? If so does anyone have any other suggestions? Thanks
here you go... replace your BootUpHTC.wav (no sound).
extract it in your phone's Windows folder.

Thank you very much, silenced that dreadful racket! I had to go back to XP and Activesync to get it to copy into the Windows folder though. Got access denied messages when I tried using MSDC on Win7.
Any one has a Tweak/Cab to re enable STARTUP SOUND IN LEO ??
Anyone ?
