I have tried to look through but there are alot of posts and don't know how exactly to look this up but I need to know how to fix something with my internet. I have yahoo mail and don't use the xpressmail with at&t. I try to go to my normal mail.yahoo.com and it goes to the mobile version. I hate mobile versions of the websites. The yahoo version won't let you do anything other than text. No attachments or anything.
I need to just view full webpages. How do I change the settings to view them only? (saw something on at&t website but don't understand it and some people said it didn't work)
Second, I need to know how to allow for just the swirl zoom and not the tap zoom. When I open and it goes to landscape it gets rid of the swirl zoom on the internet and will only use the tap way to zoom. I don't like that way. I prefer the zoom by the d pad.
Third, If I am looking at playing alot of video and going to start getting some games on my fuze and wanted to know if I should change my display settings to something else that will make it look better. I remember on my last one(yes I had to replace one) somehow I got to display settings and they had options to change to xvga, vga, etc. Isn't Vga the best or is it set at the best as the default. Granted it looks good the way it is but I want the best for when I start doing video. And how do I get to it? I was looking around for it and can't find it anywhere now.
Also I was looking on what gps program to get. I was looking at the tomtom and was wondering what people thought of it. And what version would I need to get? Would you recommend a different one like garmin?
Sorry if these are double posts.
70 views and no answers and already to the 3rd page. Can anyone help me on this? No one on the at&t have replied and no one has here either.
Please help me, I'm having issues and need them fixed right away.

1) i don't think you'll be able to view it. It's the same with gmail, that's why they provide mobile version of gmail as well.
2) it shouldn't do that. what rom are you using?
3) the default setting should be optimal. i'm not sure why you'd want to play with the video setting. (i could be totally wrong on this one)
4) do a search on the forum, i'm sure garmin vs tomtom has been discussed in other threads. if you can find the # of people who have viewed this post, i'm sure you know your way around searching on the internet. good luck

1. Go to the Opera configuration page (replace "http://<whatever>" with "opera:config" -- without the quotes). Scroll down to "Proxy" and open that section by clicking on it. Make sure that the entries for "HTTP Server" and "HTTPS server" are empty and hit "Save" at the bottom of the section. Then scroll down to "User Agent," open that, set "Spoof UserAgent ID" to 3, and hit "Save." Finally, scroll down to "User Prefs," open it, set "Custom User-Agent" to "Mozilla/4.0(compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 6.0; en)" (again, without the quotes), and save it. That may be overkill; someone posted, for instance, that you get the same results by simply deleting the Custom User-Agent string instead of setting it to the value above. I haven't tried that. All I can say is that this combination of settings shows me the full web pages for all the sites I normally visit. YMMV.
2. No clue.
3. The display on the Fuze is 640x480 pixels, otherwise known as VGA resolution. A video encoded for VGA resolution will have the maximum sharpness of which the Fuze is capable. It may not be the best viewing experience, though, depending on what you are using on the Fuze to play the video and how it was encoded (the codec used, frame rate, etc.) -- you may experience performance problems such as "tearing," dropped frames, stuttering, etc. There's a lot of discussion currently about what's the best encoding for the Fuze, better drivers, the best player and settings therefor, etc. It's not a settled question nor an exact science. (I don't know what you mean by "How do I get to it?")
4. I use a free over-the-air turn-by-turn navigation service from amazegps.com. I think it does an excellent job for my needs. If you want to buy one, though, you should definitely consider OnCourse Navigator 8 (OCN8). I haven't used it, but the reviews I've seen are very enthusiastic.

I don't use Yahoo mail, but I see the normal HTML view of Gmail -- not the mobile version -- in Opera, using the settings I gave in the preceding message.
Try accessing your email from The Skyfire browser until someone outlines a full fox for you..
You can try using messaging/pocket outlook
You can also add Yahoo! Mail to messaging/pocket outlook, I have 4 accounts set up in pocket outlook/messaging GMail, Hotmail, Yahoo! Mail and my works exchange mail. I would suggest setting these up with imap settings over pop3 settings.
GMail has instructions for this pretty much step my step. Yahoo! doesn't officially support imap on wm devices but i am using an imap server settings. Its a little tricky to get set up because WM likes to grab settings for pop3 first. You can by pass this by putting in a different domain [email protected], [email protected] and then proceed to manually set up the accounts. If you have OCD then you can fix the email address after you have finished setting it up in pocket outlook/messaging.
GMail
incoming mail server (imap)
imap.gmail.com
user name is your full email address.
outgoing mail server
smtp.gmail.com
check box outgoing server requires authentication
check box use same user name and password
Advanced settings(link on page where you put in outgoing mail server info)
check box require ssl for incoming
check box require ssl for outgoing
Yahoo!
incoming mail server (imap)
imap.next.mail.yahoo.com (it works!)
user name is your yahoo login name (ex abc)
outgoing mail server
smtp.mail.yahoo.com
check box outgoing server requires authentication
check box use same user name and password
Advanced settings(link on page where you put in outgoing mail server info)
check box require ssl for incoming
check box require ssl for outgoing
For Hotmail to work you have to install a cab (for stock Fuze rom)otherwise it will direct you to a web based version.
Setting the accounts up in messaging will also allow you to preview messages in the TF3d email tab.

I tried this and it still comes up on opera as the mobile version. So Wish I knew how to fix this. Now media net isn't my homepage. And media net won't even show up. Still need a fix then. I may have to just use xpressmail if I can't find a fix.
Can anyone tell me what the default settings are so I can go back to the way it was. Until there is a fix that works.

Sorry; it's been a couple of weeks since I did this so I had forgotten that it disabled MEdia net. (Personally I couldn't care less about MEdia net, so it was no loss at all for me to exchange that for seeing full web sites; that's why I forgot about it.) I don't know why your web site still comes up as the mobile version; as I said, this does the trick for all the sites I use.
well, Is there any way to get the settings back, cause it didn't fix the issue and want to go back then. I want to keep medianet. i may have to do express mail after all, since no one knows how to fix it for atleast yahoo mail.
I've just spent a few minutes searching through the forum and can't find the post that I remember where someone gave the original settings for those configuration items; maybe it was on some other board. In any event, the best I can suggest is that if no one tells you what the original settings were, you can make a backup using Sprite backup; hard reset the device; go to opera:config and write down the original settings; restore the backup; and then change the settings to what you wrote down from the fresh boot.
I found the post I was thinking of over on the AT&T forum. That only addresses the proxy server names, but I think that may be all you need to get back to MEdia Net. HTH.
Than fixed it but wish I could figure out what is the problem with yahoo mail and how to fix the whole mobile website thing.
I had the same issue with the zoom wheel. Not sure if this is what fixed it but, in Opera goto Settings - Dispaly. Check Auto Full Screen, Show Images & Block Pop-ups. Uncheck Mobile view.
Has been working correctly since.

This is in the "Settings" choice on the menu you get when you hit the button at the lower right of the screen and then hit the "menu" icon (the one furthest to the right at the bottom of the screen).
I just tried that too.The menu-display. the mobile view isn't checked and I still get the mobile view of the darn yahoo mail. Still don't know how to fix it and I believe paypal is the same.
Yeah, the "mobile display" option controls how Opera sizes and formats pages; it doesn't affect which page (mobile or regular) is being accessed. I don't know how Yahoo mail, etc., are detecting the Fuze as a mobile device; the user agent and proxy fixes take care of many/most pages, but there's obviously something else.

Is this dns legit (imap.next.mail.yahoo.com). it seems like a phishing url.
Hi, my university (California State University, Long Beach in case you know it) has a splash page (BeachNet) for its campus-wide WiFi network. The page requires you to log in and prevents you from saving the username and password via (I'm guessing here) autocomplete=off.
Is there a way to get around this limitation via the Android Browser (or any other browser)? The page does not have to stay open, you must just login once. Disconnecting and reconnecting even works w/o re-entering credentials.
Does anyone know how to force the browser to save log-in information?
Edit: Being able to open the page, it's basically something like secure.arubanetworks.com/login.cgi&ip=10.0.0.0&mac=4d:7e etc. So it looks like the mac address and ip address are used as part of the URL identifier. I suppose that this would mean the browser would see them as separate pages. Hope this helps!
Check out firefox beta for (i guess) android?
It supports saving account + password. Works very well for me.
it didn't show up in the market (do i need a market hack/fix?), so i got the latest Fennec build from Mozilla FTP. Unfortunately, that didn't work.
I tried following the Windows Phone guide, but that didn't work. I'm going nuts over this
This works for Windows 8
(Preform form a desktop\Laptop)
Someone posted a working solution on Microsoft Answers:
Download User Agent Switcher from the Chrome Webstore
Select an iOS device
Go to http://m.google.com/sync
Deactivate Javascript in Settings (Show advanced settings, Content settings)
Click your Windows Mail device
In the URL change supportMultipleCalendars=false to supportMultipleCalendars=true
Submit URL (Press Enter)
Save
Readd your Google Account to your Windows Calendar app. It now works.
This didn't work me. I had to just export the calendar from Google and then import it via my email account on outlook.com.

This has worked well for me. You must do this from another device of course.
the google sync site should work for all, you just need a UA change to a mobile device (or a mobile device) to get to the site so you can change which calendars sync
I dont get any advanced settings option when I open the mobile site with iOS, I only have; Enable "Send Mail As" for this device.
Enable "Delete Email As Trash" for this device.
Help?

You need to change the URL to set "supportMultipleCalendars=true" and reload the page with that parameter. You need to disable Javascript because the Javascript controls keep you from selecting multiple calendars. Turning off that check lets you select all of the calendars. Don't know why there's that restriction as it's pretty clearly an artificial one, but the steps above work when you follow all of them.

I had this problem too and the only way I got around it was by unsubscribing from some of the calendars I had on Google and refreshing the page. Then just resubscribing. I don't know why that worked but it did.

Hello guys!
Tired of typing your password each time you want to unlock your computer?
After months of work, I have finally launched my project, Remote Fingerprint Unlock, which allows you to remotely wake up and unlock your Windows computer with a single fingerprint tap!
Features:
• Simple, user-friendly UI
• Secure
• Local/Microsoft/Domain** accounts supported
• 3 app themes - Light, Dark, Black (AMOLED)
• Wi-Fi/Bluetooth/Wi-Fi Tethering support
**1.2.0 version of the Windows module required. Usage: when adding an account using the Android app, simply add the full name of the account, including the domain, separated by a slash ( ‘\’ ). For example: test\account.name
PRO features:
• Ads removal
• Unlimited computers and account per computer
• Wake-On-Lan
• Unlock widgets - can be linked to any account, useful if you have more computers that you want to unlock
• Launcher shortcuts - same as widgets, can be used by long-tapping the app icon or can be pinned like any other launcher shortcut
• More planned features
With that being said, here is the link to the app: Google Play or XDA Labs
The Windows module, found at http://bit.ly/2Q4YoUP is required for the app to work. Please be sure to check for updates from time to time as they can contain fixes and add new features. The changelog can be found at the same link.
The app was featured on XDA News, thanks to the guys at XDA! :highfive: So, if you think that you need such a tool, be sure to give it a try!
Lastly, any question that you may have, be it about how the app works, how to use it or if you are just leaving feedback, don't hesitate posting it here! Thanks for taking the time to check the app!
Security
The communication between modules is secured using TLS (SSL). The accounts are stored on your computer as they are required when unlocking. However, they are encrypted using a key that is generated based on your fingerprint. As per this article, the generated key is backed by a Trusted Execution Environment, which prevents an attacker from gaining access to the key even if he had compromised the kernel. In other words, only the enrolled fingerprints on your phone can access the key. If you do uninstall, reset your app or even if you change one of your registered fingerprints, the file where the accounts are stored is lost forever and you will need to reconfigure your accounts.
Lastly, research has been done to ensure that, even locally, your accounts are as safe as possible. No password is stored in-app and everything is done locally (between the app and the Windows module) and I'm not, in any way, shape or form, sending through the Internet or seeing anything that you type in-app.
Basic troubleshooting
If you cannot find you computer in the Scan menu, please check the following:
Be sure that the module is present on your logon screen. For example, on Windows 10, you should see it on the lower left corner of the screen. If you installed the program and it still isn’t present, please leave a reply, send me a PM or an email.
If you have a different firewall than Windows Firewall, please be sure that you have allowed all incoming and outgoing traffic on both TCP and UDP for LogonUI.exe process, found in C:\Windows\System32.
Be sure that both your computer and your smartphone are connected to the same network which assigns IP addresses on the same subnet. For example, both devices should have an IP starting with the same subnet prefix: 192.168.1.
If you have blocked ports on your network, be sure to allow port 4009 on both TCP and UDP for the app to function correctly.
If you added an account but unlocking does not work, please check the following:
If you are using a Microsoft account: if you tried adding an account, used your email address and it does not work, please update the Windows module to at least 1.0.2, which supports logging in a user using the displayed account name on the lockscreen. When adding an account in-app, try again by using the displayed name of that Microsoft account (the First and Last names).
If you are using a local account on Windows Vista or 7, you may have changed your account name in the past. Internally, Windows does not change the username so you need to type in the original username.
If you can’t remember it, just open a Command Prompt and type 'whoami’. The username that will be displayed is the one that the app will need.
You can also check how your personal user folder is called. It can be found in C:\Users.
On Windows 8 and 10, have at least the 1.0.2 version installed and simply add an account using the displayed name on the lockscreen.
Setting up/Testing Wake On Lan (PRO feature)
To enable WoL on your computer, you can follow the steps here. To enable WoL on your computer, follow the first part. After that, you can continue with the same tutorial if you have another computer available, or you can download this app on your Android phone to test it.
To send the WoL signal using the app, simply go to the saved computers, tap on the desired computer, tick Send WoL-Packet and Save. There is no need to configure anything as your MAC address is automatically detected when you add your computer. The wake-up signal will now be sent each time you unlock one of the accounts on that PC.
Take into consideration that on some computers, you may also need to enable WoL in your BIOS settings and that it may work only on certain states like being fully shut down, hibernated or sleeping. There is nothing I can do about it, unfortunately, as it depends on your PC. Thanks for understanding!
So the fingerprint is saved on your server? How can we make sure that it will not be exploited?

No! Actually it is not! The fingerprint verification is only done locally using only your phone's secure hardware. This is all that Android Fingerprint API's allow a developer to do: they just report back if a scanned fingerprint is found on a phone's system or not and the unique key that is generated when you first scan your fingerprint can be accessed only if there was a successful fingerprint scan.
So all of this part is done using Android's Fingerprint API. There is no back-end involved in any of this. With the exception of crash logs and ads, the Android app and the Windows module only communicate with each other.
Hope that it clarifies some of the aspects! Feel free to reply back if you have any other questions.

Can't add the account in the app. When I fill the details (account and password) it disappears and I get a notification up top that the command is sent, waiting for computer to reply. But nothing appears in the account list within the app. Using a local account (admin) and no changes in the past 2 years.

Sadly no. The firewall exceptions were created properly. The lock screen was on. No Antivirus on either devices. It might not be a firewall issue because the app was able to communicate with the computer.

It only works on local networks (Wi-Fi/Wired) at the moment, so both your Android device and your computer should be on the same network to communicate with each other.
Also, do you have your computer on it's lockscreen when scanning? (not on dekstop)

Open up 4009 on both TCP and UDP and also allow both incoming and outgoing traffic. Tell me if it worked.
When i use home wireless network (no main firewall), it is working, but inside my work network which have main firewall, it is not working. I already open port 4009 (tcp/udp),same result
