Clean WM6 ROM

Is theire somebody who is able to make a clean (compleet) basic rom lik e orwell 1984? Only orwell didn't have a camera function.
I'm trying to clean up the faria rom but until still unsuccesfull. I'm using Faria because I believe at this moment it's the best / stable and fastest rom, but I don't need so much programs. For programs I prefer an other developer and some I don't want to usee. But because these programs are integrated to the rom you can't uninstall them...

There was no office apps in Muns ROM or was I just blind ? Cuz I put it on and then went with fahira ROM cuz of the office apps.

They were in the start menu, if you chose not to show it there, it was moved to the programs folder i think.

Yep, as Golfernutflorida mentioned, the Office apps folder is in the Start menu on mUns (and I believe thats where it was at in MBE too). So they are there and they work (I've used Word and Excel a few times now on the mUn rom).
Also remember that Faria has said he's coming out with a Vanilla rom also. But I do have to say I'm pretty happy with the mUn rom right now so am staying with it for now.

Ok good I will try again. I knew they had to be there. BTW how is the battery drain on the mUn`s ROM specially with data usage ? Cuz Faria`s ROM the data usage drains the battery like crazy, and thats the main reason that I want to switch to a diffrent ROM.

If you can wait a little Faria has said (repeatedly) that he is going to release a vanilla version of his WM6. My sense is that people keep PM'ing him and asking for this over and over and over... I think that kind of 'interuption' only delays the release (because there is only so much time in the day...)

That's way I don't ask ' ROM-developers' by PM. They all are doing a great yob and when they have someting new, they tell us. I think they are going mad for all the pm's they receive.

That is mUn rus s first release modified by nottoosmart.
The one we were referring to in this thread earlier is Farias vanilla WM6 that has not been released yet.

Another Hybrid Rom Build 18533.0.7.0 with CE OS 5.2.1921

This Rom is based on my last Rom but with a more stable CE OS taken From Helmi_C's Rom.
I cannot support my last Rom anymore as my computer crashed this morning and I lost all my work, sorry guys. I will try and help if people still need me to but all my work regarding that build as gone.
I have been using the rom for a few hours and I havent encountered any problems so far , not saying there arent any but A Rom will not be perfect for everyone as I recently found out.

Its not easy as making a Rom you could have a try. I find it hard making a Rom for kaiser than making a Rom For Hermes. Let me know if you make one based on 5.2.1933 . Helmi_C is the master at that, I am just like You.

duttythroy, do you know if that rom finally enables DirectX acceleration on the kaiser ?
(my hope being pretty thin as it needs a htc/qualcomm driver file...)

Two biggest changes are touch keyboard is removed will be available as cab and new battery fix to kaiser's original meaning battery level showing bars and power level now goes down by 1%. Also newer and stable CE OS

If you can,try to put the Selection at the Battery menu to choose to charge through USB when it's plugged or not.This selection was missing in the last final ROM you made.

Yeah I´m sure are!! Your input on this thread is fantastic and I appreciate it takes a lot of time to answer posts and that´s on top of knocking out several ROMS!!! Take a few days off.... we´re still going to be here when you get back!!

Edit: actually, nevermind i'm going to hold off for a while...the final one seems stable enough for me right now...it's not a huge update to do a full re-install all over again...unless someone can convice me otherwise...

i do have one question though that i noticed in all the roms...is it possible to fix the htc action screen to work in landscape mode...tia...

I am guessing that there are quite a few people around the world working away on these new 6.1 based ROMs.
Who will be the first to release a non-beta one though.
Will it be from the usual suspects Dutty, Schaps, Alex, . . . ?

Whoever it is I hope the ROM will not affect the radio as Orange UK radio isn't available to reflash if it gets replaced (at least I haven't found it yet).

Alex called it beta, but has the same specs as the brand new official ROMs.

Now there is an official 6.1 released on the HTC page. The browser LOOKs great but we don't trust M$. There has already been reviews that say that the software isn't much better then the software you released. If it is a solid version of WinMo, perhaps just getting the cube integrated and your home screen working on it rather then the stupid one they have on there which lacks the media player and messages and such.
Can you let all your followers know what we can expect now with this release. I wanted to even know if there was a way to extract windows browser and install it as a cab file to 199 /w cube release. I still find that it the fastest version for what I want it to do.

because im sure everyone wants to know what dutty plans to do with the 6.1 release...and honestly comon...we don't trust M$...we rather have dutty check it out...tweak it...
plus the things he does...we get a version MUCH faster...better apps...WORKING instead of bsing with M$ or the software companies...we get a WORKING cube...cuz therer are so many out there that don't work too well on various roms...

the last time i read the april 1 release, the cube was laggy...and people were complaining about its speed and functionality...even blank screens...

i think this is not a wm 6.1 update. just look at the date of the rom first, it states the 17th of january 2008 and the radio is a 1.27.14.09 << this seems to be a wm 6.0 rom. This is my oppinion. Please correct me if i'm wrong to avoid any confusions.

19400 was only just released for the Kaiser a few days ago. (As well as a few other devices) I thought of porting it, but I didn't have the want, need nor time to.
Looking forward to another ROM from itje, though. The more ROM's, the merrier. Now, if I could just get past this school semester and spend some time on that kitchen...
EDIT: Actually from your lol... I wonder if 19700 is what you're porting. I thought that was WM6.1 Standard only, though.

hmm...my thoughts exactly, ivan. i was gonna suggest 19700. I read somewhere it was stable on artemis kaiser etc... which would mean theres a pro build out there somewhere

I'm testing a Build 19701 on my hermes, looks fine so far.

so 19701 is the 6.1 pro version of 19700?

Ok Guys I have resisted long enough. Tell me why every rom I flash only gets me part on the rom. Like right now I have the latest version of touch it,but yet I hav a blank home screen?.....
Don't freek out I know this isn't the place for this but I just could not find what I need.

well, ill report more later on what i find out, many say its real.

haha! i was right! well, except for the "b" after the 8.0, but i assume that that means beta and will eventually be removed.
