Another problem, the "Button" setting disappeared from Start->Settings, how can I created the link?
i believe it's in the rom not sure if it exist as a cab

I cannot find any excel applications in 2.03TX ROM.
The button setting app maybe in the rom, but I don't know which one is.
You have to extract it from an official nk.nbf .... I think i've seen it floating around as a zip file in some post here on the forum though

I'm trying to unpack extended rom 1.06.116 (I want to extract Treufax 2.09 for my s100), but when I launch ER2003Edit, it doesn't find the password to open the file (It try 4 pass with no luck...)
Anyone knows the pass to open this extended rom
Do you know other methods to unpack it?

although it can generate .nbf file, but the given key is wrong. you will see there is a warning message when you run change.bat
anyone know the right key?

Well!!
We are talking about password to encrypt/decrypt the ROM file (.nbf). Not the password to open the .rar file.

I test all most WM5 rom, and I can say that aku3.3.13Aserg is the best
Why?I test many ROMs,but no one of these ROM can open the program "XROSE" which is a free SMS program in China.And,many WM5 ROMs' memory lose fastly,even I don't open any program.I don't know why~

Thank you ..But I removed this program after I hard reseted my s200
Ive maded a cab file from diamond phonecanvas pack.
the new phone layout works, but in vga mode (even if ive resized all images).
i think there is the same dlls problem like in manila software...
if someone know how to edit the dll file...
NB. for me at least it's impossible to unistall...

My guess is the file size or format is wrong for direct upload. I can make a folder in my 4 shared for you to upload to or you can grab one of your own.

I also try to port it. You need also the fonts from the manilla OEM dir.
There are some things hardcoded in the dll. Like 'touch' places on the touchscreen and more.
i have made a cab for phone canvas based off of the htc opal.
feel free to test it.
i havent tested it so backup or do whatever you need because im not 100% positive it'll work.

And is there a way to extract the PhoneCanvas from the HyperDragonIII rom that has it, it is a working version. Or is it just that the OEM version works, but when you make it into a cab it wont?

can we activate transcriber in hd2 to be used with the new stylus as i need it so much i really missed handwriting recognition
You can find the file transcriber.exe in the windows directory. just make a shortcut to your programs folder and start transcriber.
But without stylus it is useless, isn't it?

I have flashed a rom from Laurentius without the transcriber.exe. but in the stock rom the file is in the windows folder. so unfortunately I cannot help you.

OK~I am on stock rom..maybe bcoz it's not WWE Version.. I dun have that file...
but I guess u can try to dump the file out from the ROM ?

Did it - see attached file.
Copy it anywhere on your device, rename the original shellres192 to shellres192.dll.bak, put the new file into the windows folder (use Totalcommander), softreset and enjoy. After all you may delete the *.bak-File.

tryed to post a link to a fine tutorial over there on hardwarezone, but the link was broken - best tutorials are right here by tsowen and so on...
-> you need three tools:
unsigner.exe to unsign the *.dll
ResHacker.exe to replace the icons
MSigner.exe to resign the *.dll
'cause I'm not at home I will post you a link 'till tomorrow, ok?
