Is there a place to see the list of what is included in the default HTC ROM including versions? I see what's in this ROM, but other than the OS it's hard to tell what's different from the original ROM.
Also, is there any place to see a changelog saying what fixes have been implemented between OS revisions? i.e. what AKU 0.7.0 includes?

Is there a site/wiki/forum post that shows a newbie (me) how to cook roms from start to finish? I have always been interested in doing so.
activesync and push issue
my mail2web is up and running, but activesync only shows it connected for a few minutes, then it dissconects. If i hit sync it will connect and stay connected for a few minutes, then right back to disconnected. any thoughts?

I hope that you will include the propper TMO USA settings for conectivity in the US... because the people abroad (Like UK) haven't been able to do it.
Also, In one of Faria's extended Roms there is a file XFARIA SETTINGS. it fixex the battery drain issues. the latest beta battery status (with the clock) also adresses some battery issues as it alows the CPU to have variable speeds. Both of these programs take very little space, but the benefit is that I can have my MDA run for two days of regular use as opposed to about 5 hours.

Free ram: 30.91 MB after first boot. 2nd time was 31.7 MB , after 10 min is now 31.60 MB. pda was in standby mode
Free storage: 39.42 MB
Wifi works, scrolling works,camera also.Boot time is also good = 40 sec.I like new font. Its a little small, bu i like it so.

I have not downloaded yet. I read that you changed the system font, how to change it back . I prefer the original font, because all the hungarian characters are included.
Been using this rom for a couple of hours now and it's fantastic. It's fast and stable too, what more could you ask for There was just one small issue that I encountered, the camera button on the right doesn't seem to be working. I'm guessing its something to do with the shortcut. Other than that, no problems whatsoever. Good job Merlin and thanks for this great rom.
Yeah. Shortcut doesnt work for camera. I wrote in my 1st post in this topic about htc camera album, not camera app. Was my mistake. U have submenu Buttons in Settings, where u can change shortcuts and for camera but is there application called Mobile camera.
Altough great release. I tried all roms for g4 and octaviois, khanx and yours are the best for my needs and demands. Thanks again

Just tested your ROM, been using it for 2 days now.
My findings:
- Battery lasts as much as it did on my WM5.
- Screen refreshes faster than WM5 too.
- The funky scrooling + x/ok button can be fixed with the cab I provided for my own rom (you are free to use it).
- Its very clean, but not clean enough for my taste. I've tested most of the rom, and it works as it should, wifi, bluetooth, beam.
- The looks is a misture of Touch (dialpad + comm manager) with the standard look of Windows Mobile...
All in all, a good job on porting it to our devices.

Hm, those are small and useful ad-ons, i would leave it.
And how about some changes in a default skin?
Fonts are to big by one size, and I'd change sliding panel a bit... (first thing - throwing away "ringtone" and "background" from the "setting" panel. I'm using Regedit just for that, and the skin keeps going back to default (don't know why)...)
And btw - as for this moment - how much free space on device?
I haven't flashed it to the Vox yet. For Java, just open your Java and look under About! The default skin would be Slide Panther , but the other Standard Skins are included as well! I guess I'll have a look at those setting pages. I saw the corresponding rgu some time ago, so it should be possible!
EDIT:I am just going to leave the stuff in, who nows when a IRDA driver for a device without IRDA is needed and it doesn't need much space!

EDIT: I am charging my Vox right now for a first test! If it works good I will let you beta test tomorrow! I am also thinking about releasing a new kitchen for Wm 6.1 based on Dr. G's ROM,OEM & SYS folders. But I will rewrite the *.bat s for that. So it should be easier to use the new kitchen!
It can be installed afterwards. The panels are slimmed down slightly so they don't take up as much space so allow more panel headings to be seen at once.
If you are interested in including it I'll post the relivent files for you.

1.34.406.1 is lastest HTC's rom based on WM6.0.
Your version of WM6.1 is based on Dr. Gonzo's ROM WM6.1 1.1 ?
(Dr. Gonzo used an emulator image of WM6.1 to make his rom, not an HTC's ROM)

A lot of Diamond Programs are causing problems, so a majority were removed. If you want to have them you can download the beta cabs throughout the forum
Diamond Album was removed due to the problem with the landscape mode and other slideshow problems. Will place back into the rom once it is working properly.

Well, it's running pretty well for me so far. I removed a load of bits and added a few packages for my own personal taste, and it's about as solid as any Kaiser ROM I've used - and possibly a little quicker.

That was my purpose of leaving in the .rgu's and proxml files.... Its a start, I basically wanted a basic ROM with a few goodies, now I am working on customizing the look with my new Adobe CS3 software
There must be something not right with .net. I tried installing .new 2.0 along with 3.5 and I am not able to some of my applications like banakarama and Schaps adv. config.
"cannot open "*". A critical component missing.....
My text goes away when I used the slide our keyboard. I can't see what I'm typing or options in drop-down menus and stuff like that.

I'm not sure why bankarama is not working....just tried myself and got the same error message????
ABout Shaps Adv Config use the Kaiser Tweak installed already in the tools menu and it works fine. Personally I like Kaiser Tweak better as if something changes you only need to change the XML file.....

Thanks for the imput....didn't even notice that when I tried....just so used to using my stylus now I don't use the keyboard that much. I"ll look into that also......

i had the same problem but ive come to notice that only happen when u have the cleartype turned on for landscape mode , im guessing its an issue with the roms cuz ive had the same issue with more dan one....... try turning off the clear type and im sure ull see some improvement
ROM has a very nice feel to it. After trying several PP sizes, it works fastest for me set to dynamic. No issues to report as yet. Good job...
I really like this rom. Everything working very well no problem. There was a little issue on MS VC, I fixed it.

No other radio works only 1.65
the fianle release of Throttle Diamond I multi language is here finaly
This rom is no longer suported go here for the new version Throttle Diamond II
This is CE OS 5.2.19213 (Build 19213)
OS only but it's recomanded that you use 1.65.xx.xx radio with this rom.. it's reported to work with older versions of radio too
remember that you need to HARDSPL before flashing these roms.
When divice is costumizing it will look like it's stuck instaling diamond.tsk just wait it can take around 1 minute
What to do first: (Setting up ThrottleLauncher)
1. After final flash synch all you contact etc. with outlook or restore
2. set up you email acount (but only if you use email)
3. install any soft you haven't installed with UC
4. start Throttleconfig and chooses TFlo3D if not chosen then press config
5. now go to weather tab and type in you town and country
6. now go to the email tab change Acticesync to the name of your acount ( it is case sensetive so if acount is Gullum it want display any info if you type gullum)
7. optional in General tab choose and arange what pages to show.
8. press save then exit on the default throttle config page choses reload plugin
this can also be done later but this will get you familuare with the config app
the music page can controll WMplayer,S2P and Morthplayer

For those of you that don't like iContact I will make a cab of randomaccess that sets itself as default contacts.
for all that have been blameing Throttle for many things I have not answered because in most cases it's not throttle's fault

I'm not shure I have only tried with 1.65.20.29 you can try to flash with 1.58.25.17 and report back so I can change the info in first post

The WWE version has been tested by several people and have been reported to be colse to perfect the beta was public and these roms have taken around 2 months from start to release.
I've used all the newes HARDSPL and stuf since I had the radio from HELL.
The New AthineOS have base from the latest rom for kaiser 3.34.721.2 and os and build from the latest HTC ROM from Blackstone or HD [20757]

Hi do you have any plan to have Opal dialer canvas in your ROM?

I have some particular questions:
How is the overall performance and memory?
It's a fixed 6 meg pp so free RAM should be very good but I have better perf. results with dyn pp, anyone testing a dyn version?
Active Sync? Does it run OK even if you frequently cradle and uncradle?
Backup capabilities with Sprite or SPB (some newer ROMs are very slow backing up).
Manila integration? I saw last night that the file list is over 1100 files. Other integrated ROMs manage to have a file list of 360 - 480 depending what theme is used (major concern in space requirements on the device applying themes).
Comm Manager? which Comm Manager is in? Does it support 3G on/off? Would like to see a Manila or at least Opal look and feel one (attached).
It's a pity that the volume control and some other nice stuff is missing. I'll stick with my ROM for now waiting for 2.1 from b16b .
Quentin Harris in the media player. This has to be a great rom. Will be trying as soon as Tilt comes back from warranty. I dont usually base my ROM Decisions on a song in a media player but it great to see another house head! Keep It DEEP.

Manila integration? I saw last night that the file list is over 1100 files. Other integrated ROMs manage to have a file list of 360 - 480 depending what theme is used (major concern in space requirements on the device applying themes).
Comm Manager? which Comm Manager is in? Does it support 3G on/off? Would like to see a Manila or at least Opal look and feel one (attached).
It's a pity that the volume control and some other nice stuff is missing. I'll stick with my ROM for now waiting for 2.1 from b16b .

1. is very quick memory is 57.4mb ram after cold start and 103mb free rom
2. for me is better the 6mb..
3. Activesynk is ok $ Bluetooth Also

5. how can you count this? but is the same like yesterday i waiting the new version..
6. is the simple OPAL Comm manager like v1.2, do you have found this cab?
7. with opal volume control.. you can change the volume in-call mode.. but the volume from call not for overall????

Still, i dont like the dialer... can i install MBarvian's Opal dialer or other dialers than the one in your rom?
