Hi
For some reason Audio manager doesn't recognise any mp3's that I have on my Touch. I sync using Pocketmac on OSX. I'm just wondering if the files need to go into a specific folder on the device?
The tracks will play through windows media player, just not through Audio manager
Thanks
Jason
I have a problem to scan the mp3 from my storage card. It seems it can read the files but they never be added to library. In "open file" mode it works normaly.
I need the media player only for my w100 remote control that dont works whit htc audio manager. If there are some fixes to use the htc audio manager whit the w100 remote control i need that. I had tried to install the audi drivers from htc site, but it says that the drivers just installed. After this i tried to set the htc audio manager als default player whit the htc home customizer, but id had any effect.
Sry by my bad english
Thanx for all helps
I don't think you are the only one with this problem. I have a 8gig sandisk and i can add to the songs to my library, which allows me to sort by artist, song type, etc. After a while (from a few hours to a few days) i will loose this ability and I am unable to transfer these songs from my card back to my computer and play them. This happens to both songs and videos.
Other information on the card (i have TOMTOM) is not affected. So this looks like a bug in Windows Media Player.
Can anyone confirm this?
SOLUTION!

Hi folks,
I have an HTC Desire running InsertCoin HD/Z port 1.8h ROM at the moment. I have just bought a Motorokr S9-HD and so far it's working reasonably well.
The major bug I have with this is the music control feature. It seems to start Meridian player and control that instead of the default HTC Music player I have already running. It has a weird effect of both music players streaming two different songs at the same time! Ever heard Evanescence and Ottmar Liebert playing at the same time? Not nice!
Anyone else encountered this problem with the S9-HD or any other bluetooth headset?
Thanks,
D.
I installed the new android music played on my desire and noticed if I'm using the default player and use the controls on my pair of s9s it controls the new player.

That sounds promising - where can I find this music player, and does it have widget for the default HTC lock screen?
Thanks.
Try the PowerAmp music player app, it has a dedicated BT button management and I'm loving it with my Motorila S9.
Does anyone know how to get the htc music player to rescan your mp3's to add new songs to the Library?
I recommend sdrescan, can be found on the market.

Extended Controls has a media rescan option. Other useful stuff there too.
Hi,
I am trying to get HTC Connected Media to display some photos on my Sony BDP-S370, however it's not playing nice!
When I come to the player selection, it will not show the Sony BR player... When I do a diagnostics on the BR player, I cannot see my Sensation. I can hit refresh or whatever, but the only device I ever see in my player list is the Sensation itself.
However, my BR player is showing my PC based DLNA server fine, and if I install Twonky on my Sensation, it instantly reflects on my BR player. I can only think that I have screwed up the HTC Connection Media config - if only I could see a config!
If anyone has had luck with HTC Connected Media or knows what I am missing out on, pls let me know

I've got the same BD player and have the same frustration. I can stream server to BD, server to phone, phone to PC but not phone to BD. It would be nice if somebody has a fix.
Try this app it's works for me on my Samsung blu ray player.

Ok, I'll try iMediaShare and see how that goes. TBH though, the device advertises it's DLNA serving capabilities, so it's pretty poor form that it doesn't work as advertised!

Thanks, will give that a go. Though as airzone says, it should 'just work' out of the box.
Get imediashare as airzone said. I can now stream music to my Xbox 360 as my phone shows up now.
