Anyone know how I can add a shortcut to the Call Log program? I have Program Launcher on the Today screen, so I need to know where the shortcut is to add it to Program Launcher.

Try VJPhoneShortcuts.

Re: VJCallHistory
Extracted VJPhoneShortcuts to my Storage card.
Copied VJCallHistory.exe to Program Files.
Executed the program and it just returnes me to the today screen.
Any thoughts?

DESKTOP style today plugin

I just cannot find it. I know it is there. Does anybody know a today plugin that displays a contents of desired folder in real time. Just like ordinary PC desktop?
http://forum.ppcwarez.org/viewtopic.php?f=38&t=57605&start=0
you'd find more with google "pocketpc xp shell" or pocketpc xp theme
Nice thingie but it is not a today plugin. And the shortcuts there doesn't seem real shortcuts (like files in a folder)
I need it to display synchronized content with my PCs desktop (sync mechanism is running well)
Just a today plugin would be lovely
EDIT: Tried the program you suggested and sadly it had nothing to do with my needs. Nice idea but did not offered anything. Deleted it
BUMP
Really it must be somewhere.. anybody? Shortly: a simple today plugin to display folders contents (in real time: deletions/additions updating)

I think i misunderstood what you wanted.. but you might find what you're looking for in wad anyways. I think it depends on the theme.. not sure.
I searched through WAD-s pdf and it did not seem to have that kind of item inside. I found an example similar to my need in my device even - the start menu. It knows the contents of a folder (windows\start menu). The case is that it shows only shortcuts, cannot display any other folders contents and after all - it is just a (start) menu not a today plugin
EXAMPLE #2 - imagine a file explorer window as a today plugin

Ok, i reinstalled a couple of programs, then i get the shortcut in right place, but programs like tomtom i doesn´t want to reinstall i will try your way. But i don´t have resco, any regedit program will work, right ?
Here is the right way to assign a shortcut (and WM6.5 "Bronze" icon) for any program
This can be manually added to the registry or via .REG or .PROVXML
This example is for a standard REG (RGU) unicode text file, and will add a start menu ("bronze") shortcut with anasociated icon for a software called "goleada4.0", which is installed in "Program Files\Alcorcon" (just an example, not a real app, just wahtever came to my mind first )
Code:
REGEDIT4
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Security\Shell\StartInfo\Start\Tools\Goleada4.0.lnk]
"Icon"="\\Profgram Files\\Alcorcon\\Goleada4.0.png"
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\HTC\Manila\ProgramLauncher]
"\\Program Files\\Alcorcon\\Goleada4.0.exe"="\\Program Files\\Alcorcon\\whatever.qtc"
Notice the last line MUST be empty, following the standard .REG / .RGU syntax
Hope this helps
Wow! That's complicated. Why not just use the file explorer on the device, navigate to the .exe, copy and then go to Windows/Start Menu/Programs and paste a shortcut there?
Or you can use the attached programme.

Directlink to Programs and Settingsmenu in WM 6.1?

Hello
I searched on google and on Xda and I found nothing useful.
It is possible to make a directlink to the Programs and the Settingsmenu in WM 6.1?
I dont want to go everytime the way over The Start / Win Button to open these menus.
i can't use WW 6.5 because I'm on SE X1 and there is no bugfree german Rom out.
Thanks
These tools are unfortunately only usable for 0409 (english) ROM!
