help me to Repair my 8125

hey guys .. i am new to this .. but i have 8125 which doesnt go right after the creen it sais gsm #'s & everything ... ii know this guy& he said he can fix it .. but he will charge me alot .. so i was askng for a lil help if somebody can teach me .. with an normal english .. wat i have to do in order to use it ..
Just to let you all know that it get stuck on the first screen where it says the #'z like gsm 25.0.10.00 some thing like that ..
is there any one can tell me how to fix it .. i am sure therer some way to put software again .. or some .. . plz help me guys ... i bought this thing on retail price....

Put it in bootloader mode and flash it with the latest Cingular ROM for the 8125.

upgrade to wm6 ?

hey guys m really sry .. if i am sounding dumb .. but plz help me .. i have o2 xda exec and have windows mobile 5 in it .and want to upgrade it to (Jwrightmcps Crossbow ROM 2.02.02 WWE) soo can ne1 tell me the procedure hw to do that step by step .. if possible .. bcuz m new to dis and dnt noe nethin bout it ... if possible can ne1 send me the link of video or picture which show step by step how 2 upgrade it .... thanx ... and sry 1ce again .... japun

You can start from step 3

wat to do b4 that ... sry m new ... hope u understant my prob .

1)download the ROM
2)put the MaUpgradeUt_noID.exe file in the ROM folder
3)put the device into bootloader mode(backlight+power+soft-reset button)
4)click on MaUpgradeUt_noID.exe on the desktop

Step 4 in the link above...its all there, just follow it

but how to do that?? the maupgradeut_noid seems to work with .nbf roms file, and jwright's is an .exe... it's made for wwe devices, what if mine is ITA??

Then read through the Jwright thread for instructions...if you run the exe, but then dont update the device, the files will be extracted to a temporary directory for you. It is all in the thread...
If you really aren't confident doing such a procedure, maybe you should stick to the standard stuff - there is the potential to brick your device if you do it wrong

and what would be this standard stuff?

( 1 ) is it delete the Hebrew on the phone
( 2 ) whether i need 2 up upgrading it
( 3 ) end what is upgrading for .

Hi vivo,
As you have mentioned that you have already tried and tested all the unlocking measures, I would recommend that you upgrade your ROM (and the Radio version too!) to 2.03 TX (unofficial ROM by Taxist) or 1.13 (official ROM). ROM version 2.03 TX can be found in the forum. Search for it. And the official ROM can be found in the WIKI!!

cant see s*** in the print screen.. try to upgrade to 1.13 and not 2.03, and see if it fits. my s100 came already unlocked so i cannot help you much in that matter.

Well, i have been a visitor here 4 long just to evaluate powers f Wmphone against Symbian one as i always fancied d Former

the first Main thing i would like every1 2 know ( just again ) is that, this XDA Family is Simply Awesome.
It really feels gr8 when 1 sees peopl frm al ovr d world helping each othr and providin a stage to explore the common Interests. & Some to prevent brickin their TOYs Feels GR8
Briefly....
I always wantd to hold my own WM (d best i can afford) and aftr jst 2.5 yrs f any cellphone use, i Upgraded to A
KAISER.
Its a long tale,,,how i got this 1, my 1St WM Phone aftr a long wait of abt 7mths, as Availabilty f gud Wm phones in my part f country was bleak...& to make things worse, i lost my previous symbian for dat long
Finally, i got Imported To my place a UNLOCKED T MOBILE MDA VARIO III just 10 days back.
I GOT it for around 800 $ (without Tom Tom tastr version, Extra Screen protector, memory card)
IMPORTED BCOZ HTC HASNT LAUNCHED even HTC TYTN yet in my country..Just its variants like jasjam and xda stellar r available and dat too ,with huge price tags. After abt 3 mths f followup with Offcial HTc Peoploe ovr here, they still nt ready to divulge any details abt launched ,so i decided f importing one.
UNLOCKED BCOZ T MOBILE Doesnt provide service in here & unlocking services r nt availabel in my part f state (not atleast of WMobiles)
Since i had not much idea abt its workin excpt WM O.S's r smwht similar to Windows Desktop O.S's with registry stuff & all & had never used a WM b4 receiving mine,
So after experimentation f few days & Hard Resetting My Device for abt 3 times already due to many sftware problems etc,
I m here to get First Advise,regarding Flashing a NEW ROM to it
I would like to Specifically Point here tht i HAVE read the basic info about flashing already & few more Basic stuff f WMobiles & nt pointing another same query!
Actually , DETAILED SPECS f my TMOBILE MDA VARIO III are :
GERMAN version (CONFIRMED from d QWERTZ keyboard layout
UNLOCKED ( as its properly working with any SIM card available here)

1) I think dat its rom has been changed as t mobile has it own german language oriented rom but nt my case .
2) Whether hw this has been flashed ..may be sm other way, not using HARD SPL ( pof's)...so what shd i do..go for installation f HARD SPL OR d other one f JockyW2001 ?
3) HARD SPL (pof's) is also for CID unlock ? written in dat thread but cant find any other reference other than topic heading !
3) What way i can find out whether hard spl has ben installed already or not? or can hard spl be installed again?

5) i hav got no Memory card available yet..is it necessary for Flashing a new Rom ?

You better HardSPL it or you will have an $800 brick on your hands. Try reading the wiki. Its very helpful. Also I think that other members as well as I would appreciate it if you didn't use as many abbreviations and colors. Seriously.

1.) What? Its going to be in German because you bought an imported one. Easily changed with a rom flash. There is also software to remap the keyboard if needed.
2.) If you just got it it probably hasn't been flashed. A good indicator is if it still has all the t-mo crap all over it (splash screens etc.)
3.)You need to HardSPL, any kaiser version will work. If you go into bootloader mode (read Wiki) it will say OliPof at the end of the 2nd or 3rd line
4.) Yes
5.) Not needed for flashing, but to really use the all the capabilities of your phone you need one

OR Can HARDSPL BE installed over again if sm1 doesnt know d status f Device, as was d case here.
BUT ,gud news is Dat i risked bricking my set and installed HARDSPL ,without any ERRORS
It really had some anxious moments

MOST probably , the person who unlockd it ,flashed d basic HTC rom 1.56.405.5 (ENGLISH) in place f GERMAN , by Some NON HardSpl way.
