New Kaiser ROM - Tilt, TyTN II, MDA Vario III Windows Mobile ROM De

Hello all!
This is my first post, so I'm sorry if I do anything wrong.
I bought the HTC Kaiser, and it is actually a wonderfull phone.
I would like to know exacly how can I extract the ROM from my Kaiser, remove a few of the "junk" that doest really interest me, put some usefull stuff in it and transfer it again. Is this possible?
Thank you very much. This is an amazing forum.

You have lots of reading to do in order to be able to cook your own ROM. Good Luck. The first thing is someone need to find a way to CID unlock the Kaiser so that you can flash a custom ROM to your device. That project is in the works but hasn't been completed yet.

Above statment is correct at this point in time no you can not

wait 10 min

OK, I waited 20 min. Just kidding. POF, You are the man.

SSPL, HardSPL & JumpSPL released!
Sorry for making you wait

Keep it up. Good work.

Anyne could please point me to the right thread for new people in cooking roms?
Thanks once again.

ROM Cookers

Is there any chance to make at least two kinds of ROMs:
1. The original one from HTC with latest updates and tweaks
2. The custom ROM as you build usually
I can see many ROMs and one has more than needed, other one less than expected... and I'm pretty sure I don't want the original HTC ROM as it's slow like smell..
I know this is a bit more work to do, but hey - it's your showtime
Just my thought to share
why dont you cook your own rom

There is plenty of roms to choose from. I suggest that you find the one that appeals to you and flash it. I see that you are a Senior member, longer than me might I add, so I know that you know better than to ask something like this.
Enough said, Thread closed.
Thank you for understanding.

On TytnII 6.0 wishing to upgrade to 6.1

I use a TyTn II device. I wish to upgrade my WM 6.0 to 6.1. I need a simple ROM with little or no add-ons. Any help will be gratefully received.
Thanks

Dude....
Or HERE
It's the best solution!
One time I had an idea:
For people that have no more than 30-50 post the "New Thread" button should redirect them to the Search
Knowing most of the ROMs here are "cooked" you need to first read, and then read, and finally read again the very detailed instructions on how to update your device, especially Hard SPL.
Here is a link to a very basic 6.1 ROM that seems to have minimal added software but all of the basics included in the base ROMs.

The other comments about searching and searching are exceptionally valid. You can spend a few hours and gain a lot of knowledge from the people who have spent many hours of hard work on their own and made these updates available to us who don't have the skills necessary to make our own ROMs.
Good luck, and refer to my first sentence again.
Don't ask why!

have you tried to search...?
The buttom rom always help me out in this situation:
- see here under: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=367171&highlight=bootloader under post #2 and following
- determine from the the IPL/SPL if you have a G3/G4 device: http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=Wizard_Versions
- when upgraded the button rom successfully follow the 'how to flash a new rom to your wizard'-stiki: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=298613
in any case, there are many people how had the same problem, so it is never a bad idea to use the search button first if you have any more questions or don't know further!
im sorry to say that it did not work =/
is there anything else that can be done?
ok now my phone has started up after i flashed it...
can someone help me find the cingular 2.25 software?? please?
it works now
thank you very much...

MoDaCo Help (HTC Hero) Newbie

Hey everyone,
new to this, I had a Google G1 (HTC Dream) for ages, but was getting crap and slow, so I got a HTC Hero off ebay, but it seems its been rooted.
Firmware version
1.5
Build Number: MoDaCo Custom ROM 2.9 Core SSH
password E####x
Software version
1.0.0.A6288
Click to collapse
So is this indicating I have 1.5 of MoDaCo? How hard would it be to upgrade to the latest (I did a search and 3.2 is the latest?)
I have never rooted a phone, last time I did this kinda thing was a PSP many many years ago lol.
Sorry if this is the wrong section, if so please feel free to move it, also any help is muchly appreciated.
N00b guides would be awesome
Thanks
Suj

question

hi guys. i have got a question about custom ROM, could you please tell me which custom ROM is better to install on HTC one X. I've already installed Canyogen 10 on mine but it seems many things don't work as it should be.
thank you so much

Before this thread gets locked by the mods;-
1) Put more useful information in the title. "Question" doesn't help anybody.
2) This would be far better in the HTC One X forum.
3) These threads normally end up getting closed because a "Best ROM" is entirely down to user assessment.
Best bet - Go on the forum, Do a lot of reading, Try ROMs out yourself and make your own decision as to which one you want to use.
Very true what he ^^^^^^^^^ said and thank you.
