is there anyway we can get a Real WM6?

is there anyway we can get a WM6 rom juss Vanilla? cuz im running wm6 ingenetics basic and its terrable WM6 business edition looked JUSS LIKE the real one it juss had a few mods? cant we make one that is just like the real one?

Try Vannila by NTS - one of the best ROMs IMHO, though it's quite old.
And it has no additional software, no mods. It's quite pure I must say.

where can i get this rom?

Try Nottoosmart rom, i found it pretty good. By the way I was looking for the original InGeNeTiCs ROM. Can you provide me this ??

thanks but that is not the original one. the original ones build is different than this.

Windows Mobile 6.5 anyone able to port it to our dear wizard?

I was just browsing thru the blue angel forum and I noticed tht they had a Windows 6.5 version rom out. Yes I know its a beta version but still im hoping someone here can port it to the wizard so we can give it a try. I would post a link but im using opera mini hence can't copy it still though its a sticky first thread on the windows 6 sub-forum of the blue angel forum.

hehe it's amazing that blue anges ( such an old phone ) can run the latest rom ...

I've ported it to wizard two weeks before,but camera doesn't work on 6.5 rom!!!

Im sure there is aw ay to get a working camera.. there is another camera app that works on the wizard (cool cam) that might be a halfassed replacement.
I would like to see this rom ported and a kitchen too
sure some stuff might not work, but whare there isa will there is a way!
what camera did work with that rom?

Im not an expert and not very fluent in development on WinMo but
why wouldnt the camera be working for 6.5, wouldnt the app be backwords compatible
or is it a driver issue or something?

From what I have read, the menu has a honeycomb structure will looks real neat and is supposedly more finger friendly. Here is a link with couple of screenshots :

I am also not understanding what is the difference. I just ported the XIP/SYS and got the build 21139 and WM6.5 pro. Thats all......
May we haven't got the fully wm6.5 source for porting. Or its fake

I initially have problems with the wifi but there is a solution - just follow the thread.
Unfortunately I have to add voice speed dial and voice command which I missed (minor issue).

Hey, do you understand what them talking about? The ROM in your link is a wm6.0, not wm6.5.

I was just about to point that out, there.

In fact i have read that WM 6.5 is not released yet, even most people said a HTC phone was stolen with the WM6.5 last week in a special convention about PPC, PDA and other stuff.
Anyway microsoft denies the stolen phone, HTC does not said anything so
IN FACT THERE IS NO WM 6.5 OUT THERE!!!

It is my understanding that there won't be a wm6.5 as the wm7 is due for release early 2010. Now, I heard this thru unofficial sources so it could be wrong. As it turns out, the Touch2 has been or will be released with 6.5. My bad.

I've been using your WM6.1 ROM for sometimes now. It is very stable and fast.
What about the speed of that new WM6.5 ROM. Is it as fast as the WM6.1 ?

I have already Flashed WM 6.5.2 and it is excellent, is it worth to flash again this newer version, experts please advice, and any new features included in this build, thanks

ok.. i tried it because i wanted to see it by myself
to be honest, i cant see any advantages on the phone itself, beside of the new bootup image
But: im missing this great htc weather widget for my home screen and the htc audio player which was way better and somehow the fonts of the homescreens are bold and ugly

Switch to 6.5.3 again. defraged the ram after installation and skinned it with titanium. Works great now.
@ Caramba: just missing the network wizard which is in My_Rose 6.5.2. Would be great if you could post the wizard cab or cooked a new version

I was wondering if there exists any rom for the universal that has the HTC applications in it. Like Manilla 3D and the other apps that come with the newer shipped HTC devices. And if not i need to get back in the kitchen again

Only Manila 2D is working partially or with the help of some apps like HTC Home

I doubt the RAM would be able to handle it (at least the 64MB ones, anyway).

Plus you can only use 2D, As 3D needs a Driver and Chipset...
which the exec / uni sadly dose not support =[

Arh ofcourse yes.. Forgot that the Universal didn't have any 3D accelerator.. Guess i've gotten used to it from the newer devices.
Just recieved my Uni today and have installed things rom.. Seems to be a superb rom. Damn i have missed my uni

Yeah, although you can get a Touchflo cab, but i tired it ant takes alot of work to get fully working
