lock the screen with 1 Finger - Palm Treo 750

is there a program or something that I can lock the screen with one finger,
to lock the screen I have to hit the White button and the End button at the same time..
I tried hitting the white button twice and trhen the End and it does not work.
is there a program that I could just use to hold the "OK" button or something like that.
ideas, ??
thx

If you set keyguard to "when power is turnoff"
Then when you push the red button (end) the screen will go black, with keygaurd on - Locked.
Is that what you want.

well.. not really..
the reason i want to be able to lock the phone wile in a phone call. the red button will hang up the call.. so what I do is hit the Solid white button and then the Red button, thats fine, but its hard to do when on a call.. and I don't want to disable the touch screen when on a call because sometimes with my BT Headset I use it. and it can't be re-enabled .. (if there is a way I would love to know about it)
thanks.

Can red key turn off screen directly ?

How can I turn off screen directly?
Hand up key just exit app first...
the red hangup button switches off the screen directly.
he means like in treo650's if you hit the red key/hangup button it turns the screen off when your in an app and when you press it again it is still in the current app, rather then hit the red key takes you to the home screen then hit it again and it turns the screen off.
Similar effect you can have with Opt+Hangup. It activates KeyGuard and turns screen of in 3 or 5 seconds. After pressing hangup again you're back in last app. But you have to use combination of keys

Call Status Screen

Is it possible to disable the "hold" feature on the call status screen? I'm left handed and every time I pick up a call my face touches the screen and puts the call on hold.
Or can i change the HOLD button's position on the keypad?
Call Status Features (When i make a call):
Speaker On Mute Hold
Note Contatcs End
Thanks!
Haha, funny, but I want to find the answer to this too. I sometimes End the call or press Speaker On when it touches my face.
try to find caller from forum Development and Hacking with somethig like a slide locking features off caller... i think it's from opal but i dont relly sure
Easiest, since it's a built-in feature, is to press the power button before raising the phone to (and touching) your face. This will turn off the screen, making it impossible to touch any of the on-screen buttons AND will NOT disconnect your phone call. Using the red end-call button to hang up will cause the screen to automatically come back on so you can continue using your device. If you need to use something on the device (contacts, calendar, etc) while still on the call, press the power button again and the screen will light back up - all without messing up your call.

Lockscreen End Call Button Action

I noticed in some of the online reviews that when turn on the lock screen on the HD2 and then hit the end call button the screen turns off. I have an Imagio that has the same buttons however when the lock screen is engaged and I hit the end call button nothing happens. Can anyone confirm that this works on the HD2 and if so could there be a reg edit that that is tied to this action?
Yes, works fine on my Leo. From standby > end call button > locked screen > end call button > standby.
Ok thanks for confirming, now I just need to find out where this setting is held.
have the same problem.
how to get it back to lock screen with the endcall button?
atm pushing it just turn off display.

[REQ] Lock screen before going into standby

i dunno if any of you notice this. when you press the right most button, with the red end call key, the phone goes into standby, but did not go into lockscreen. when you press any button, the screen lights up in home screen and the next second the lock screen kicks in.
i am wondering is it possible to tweak and make it such that when u press the button, the screen will go into lockscreen first before the screen blackout. i guess we can't have the screen blackout and going into lockscreen together since going into standby, app wouldn't run either.
Just that i prefer to lockscreen first rather than when i wake it up, it goes into lockscreen and i have to unlock it.
That will depend on the ROM. At least on the HD2 this will happen if you disable automatic backlight. Did you do that?
Hit start and then hit lock on the bottom left.

[Q] Phone won't hang up - No red button

I have a Rogers Samsung Galaxy S2 LTE. Rooted but otherwise stock.
I've read a couple of posts where people say the phone doesn't hang up when pressing the RED button. My problem is different.
When I make a call if I stay on the call screen, I don't have the problem, I can hang up when done.
When I make a call and wander away from the call screen, either hitting home or task manager and switching tasks, when I come back to the phone to hang up (by pressing the green phone icon, bottom left) the screen I'm returned to is different, and doesn't have the RED hangup button.
Basically instead of having the in-call screen (Add call, keypad, end call, speaker, mute and headset buttons) it has the ready-to-call screen (numbers, Green dial, yellow email and back arrow).
I try everything to get back to that screen, but the only way I can hang up is to power off the phone. Rather serious. Help please.

If you navigate away from the call screen, then you have to pull down the notification bar and press Phone. This will bring you back to that previous call screen.
