Sound Booster? - Tilt, TyTN II, MDA Vario III Windows Mobile ROM De

The sound output both to the earpiece and bluetooth is very low. When I compare this to the Touch, its really awful.
Anyone know a way (or could write a cab) that could boost the sound, much like 'Technician' does for Palm OS devices?

This is being discussed here;

Worthless sound..

Hi.
I got my hands on the HTC Touch Diamond, recently. I love the phone, but i HATE the really worthless sound i get from the audioplayer from HTC, WMP and Pocketmusic.
Im using a stereoadapter that i got from a Swedish retailer and high-end earphones from Creative.
Im a total newbie at WM plz help me!
Try to launch audiobooster then disable then unplug adapter then plug then activate audiobooster. There is a bug that prevent it from lauching it properly

Can you make it a litte bit more clear for me..? Im a total newbie..
Sorry my english isn't very good.
First you have to know that there is a little bug with audiobooster on htc diamond. In fact, to prevent your phone speaker to be damaged the phone turns off the bass when there is no headphone plug. The problem is that sometime when you plug your headphone the bass doesn't comeback. To make it come back:
-While your headphone are plugged via the usb-jack adpater, launch audiobooster and uncheck the box to disable it
-Unplug your headphone (unplug the usb-jack adapter from the phone)
-You will have an error message because audiobooster can be loaded while there is no headphone plugged in
-Connect your headphone to the phone (through the usb-jack adapter)
-Click on "retry" in the message error box
-Check the box to activate equalizer
Try to use GSPlayer, it has a nice feature, Bass Boost, I used to use it on my prophet and it was much better than windows media player.

get yourself a set of really nice bluetooth headphones, then set bluetooth streaming to 328kbs (via registry). bluetooth headphones have their own d/a converters, which sound really great if you buy a hi end set. that way you don't need to worry wether your player has crappy sound output like ipod or wm device. They all sound the same because your headphones are creating the music and not the device with its cheap ass d/a converters.
bluetooth 328kbs btw is not distiguishable by human ears from original music and will sound like mp3 with 240kbs.
Just install CorePlayer, problem solved.
Fully functioing pre-amp and equalizer turns your diamond into a more than worthy music playing device. Trust me!
try to use wow 3d sound and bass enhancer 1.21 + control panel.
this works very well und it clear up the sound. like creative x-fi`s chrystalizer.
install the 1.21 driver. (search forum)(this i allready testet. the 1.28... i dont know)
copy the cpl file to
windows/startmenü/einstellungen, (english devices windows/startmenu/settings)
use core player
set wow hd 3d to:
srs3d effect 50%
srs center effect, 80 %
srs focus 80%
srs definition 20%. (more will more chrystalize the sound, but too much is to strange)
trubass level 80% and
trubass speaker size 60 hz. ( up to 100hz will increase the feelen bass, but its kick bass only, the low deep base will be decreased.)
now you start core player and play your mp3.
is the sound not enough for you, go tho coreplayers equalizer.
dont increase any parameter more than 12 db.
this will have very unnatural accustical sideeffects.
don`t increase the lowest frequency slider too much! there is not enough powerout potential!
for me, the settings working very well.
Do NOT use the original HTC headset! this high quallity typ of **** headset! its an open system. miniaturisized open system headsets hasn`t got a good base.
(i use: Ultimate Ears super.fi 10 PRO Metallic Blue- they really rocks da houze. but the outputpower of the diamond is okay, but not really enough, to play at high volume levels, with full base.
a creative x-fi soundcard with the headset connected to, will present the full potential of the Ultimate Ears super.fi 10 PRO. i can`t belive whats going on, in your ears )
the same old output problem.. it can all go away thanks to bluetooth. my sony dr bt-50 has more than enough reserves for all the bass. you can even use srs to push the bass lower, making it sound even more dynamic. it's great. too bad they have to build those cheap d/a converters into everything. but hey, if an ipod can sell, why would htc need anything better?
so if you think the sound sucks, use srs wow hd (evens out the crappiness of your sound output in combination with your headphones ) with really great headphones, like dom posted before or get get a pair of great bluetooth headphones, where the output is already optimized for the speakers.
328

what is the registry key to adjust the bluetooth streaming rate to 328?

[Q] Any way to increase speakerphone volume?

I've heard the speakerphone volume is too low. Is there any way to increase it past current max on a rooted phone?

I'd disagree with the speakerphone being "too low", at least on my phone.
I've used it for several conference calls (within the confines of a small conference room), and the volume is sufficient even when not at max. What does affect the quality of voice being audible is the speakerphone itself - the audio is very "tinny" and I guess I'd describe as "unrealistic". It's sometimes difficult to understand exactly what the other party is saying, but has nothing to do with volume.
I've not had the same issue when playing music through the speakerphone. Quality is actually pretty decent for such a small and basic speaker, and definitely think it's better than the one on my former iPhone 3GS (but not as good as the Vibrant's which was great for multimedia AND voice calls).
When I had my G1, I used an app called Louder Volume Hack. It was fantastic. It is on the market I believe. I would ask the dev to see if it would work on the MT4G.
When I get rooted I'll probably try to run LVH, but I'm still waiting for the darn OTA and can't test it yet.
Actually, I should re-state:
I've not had any volume issues using the speakerphone for calls, and the speaker for multimedia (music, movies/videos), but...
I have noticed that videos recorded on the MT4G and on apps such as Tango, the volume is sometimes insufficient even at max setting.
I may try the LVH if it's in the Market and see if it works. Nice to have options, at least.
Thanks for the advice. I'll test the speaker as is when my phone comes in; maybe it'll be just fine. I looked up LVH, and it doesn't support newer phones like N1 and HTC Desire. Nevertheless it looks like something can probably be done.
Instructions for older phones basically show how to modify mediaserver compression/gain equalizer settings for pre-2.1 versions of android:
androidaudiohacks dot com
The trick is to replace several config files in /system/etc. These files (Audio*.csv), if they exist in Froyo, are a good starting point for modifying the speaker volume.

[Q] Louder sound

Hi, I'm looking for some reg key or app or whatever that would make the speaker sound of my ASUS P750 louder.
I've already edited the ringtones to the point where you can start hearing distortion but I still think it's not loud enough.
I know there is a app for HTC mobiles but what about ASUS?
PS: Using the official WM 6.1 Rom.
My opinion is that dont mess with the Sounds, reason is because your speaker is set at a certain level so that it does not blow up and have a longer life.

Sound device issues?

So I'm wondering to myself (having used other phones like the Captivate)
While on a call, the actual call quality is fine. When you are setting other tunes on the phone though, such as system sounds or text messaging noises, they aren't there (this happened to me on stock before I flashed anything). Also, the sound would play really loud through the ear speaker piece on the phone, rather than the speaker on the back of the phone.
They have output all system sounds to the speaker, right? And the sound doesn't sound low quality, but...
Maybe I'm confusing everything, I realize the "sound fixes" people post do fix the sound quality, but what about the sound output (ability to ouput more than one type of sound like I described above)
Or is there no way to really design this the way I described?

Built-in AudioControl application?

Does anyone know if the SGS2 has a built-in audio control app, like the old Samsung Epix did?
With the i907/i780, entering *#0002*28346# would bring up AudioControl and allow you to adjust speaker volume, speakerphone volume, and a few other things. Just wondering if this thing has the same functionality...
