I am using the XDA Mobile 6 r2a ROM and all is well except the dialer.
The contact's picture shows up very tiny. So my question is which
dialer for WM6 shows the largest picture?
Ummm..... Now I'm using NBD 8.0, very nice. May decide to keep vs cooking my own. All it needs IMO is MuN keyboard, Calc lite & Novii remote toy!
Still question is, which dialer shows the largest / biggest / contact / picture / photo? So far I'm seeing teeny tiny contact pics and that's not too great.
I HAVE searched these posts but I keep missing! ANY help would be appreciated.

Show us a nice screen capture
Depends on which picture you want bigger. When someone is calling you and there number pops up, and you have a photo associated with them, if that is what you want big, then I would leave it at the default wm6 dialer. Not the one you have, which I believe is from the HTC touch rom. Now if you mean the photo on the dialer itself when you are making a call or on a call, Then the biggest picture I've seen is using Pauly Eten Dialer Classics. They show a very big picture on the dialer itself. Hope that helps
Thanks for the suggestion, I'll give it a shot this week and report my results.
When I send a picture via MMS with my KS20 it strinks the picture size to
4-6k when it gets to the recipient. Does anyone know how I can change this so pictures sends @ it's oringal size?
Thanks!
Use e-mail? MMS is intended for small pictures, as the mms standard came out when people still had phones with tiny displays like 60x60 pixels
I have a HTC branded Touch Pro... in the US on t-mobile.
I used the start up wizard to load the T-Mobile settings for MMS when I first bought the phone... but one problem...
when someone sends me a photo (or any MMS)...
it comes out way too small..
does that have to do with any settings it installed? what can i do to work around this? any help would be appreciated
thanks!!
Touch Pro screen resolution is 640x480. Most devices send mms in resolution of 160x120. That is why it appeared so small. You have 2 choices. Ask the sender to resend with higher resolution, or while viewing the mms, tap the "content" menu and save the images. Then open with your favourite photo editor and zoom in.
Go to your SMS\MMS inbox, tab on menu --> MMS options, scroll down to photo resolution and try original or VGA. Maybe the default settings are for smaller resolutions.
I have the same issue on the same network. The save attachment is the best work around to get a good view. Just one of the downsides of the TP. Thank goodness I don't get many MMS files.
i didnt think of the Touch Pros resolution...
thanks.!!
Is there a CAB to enlarge text for the HD2 for the visually impaired?
Googled, but could not find free CABs.
Thanks
Hi,
I know the following is a workaround and does not directly answer your question, but...
1/ Different fonts display at different sizes, for example Calibri is smaller than Segoe, you could try a larger one.
2/ You can increase the size of much of the text across your phone through settings.
3/ For applications which have font that you cannot resize, you may want to enable pinch to zoom (Zooomer or equivalent).
I'm using SPB Shell 3.5. Pinch to zoom does not seem to work in the HTC message. Have tried changing fonts but still too tiny for me to read, and font size have already been adjusted to the maximum size.
Thank you for your suggestions.
In dire straits, looking for a cab or app to help me read my messages and emails.
Thanks.
edit:- FaceBook and YouTube are fine, I'm able to pinch and zoom. But can't in messages and emails.

I too have ditched sense and gone back to Spb MS. The text in HTC Sense Sms is eye straining. It baffles me why it's so small on such a big screen. When I had the Touch Diamond a while back I was frustrated with the big text on such a small phone.
If you use SPB MS it should default to the native windows messaging app. If you increase the text in e-mail by clicking on menu -> -view -> text size -> , whatever size you choose should also reflect in the default sms app also.
rant: It amazes me that with all the million and one customizations on Xda no one has figured out/ or interested find a reg edit or something that would help increase the font in the HTC Sense sms app.
Back in the days before HTC released Sense there were a million and one ways to modify and change the fonts (enlarge/reduce) in all aspects of the windows OS.
It seems creativity has died with HTC Sense, it's all mods, mods and mods.
Sorry for my rant but do we need to create a bounty for anyone who can find a way to increase the font size in the HTC Sense app.
Hi I'm using Virtuous Unity 1.29 my mms capacity is limited to 300kb.
In this rom capacity of mms is set to 600kb as default. How to change it.
Open Messaging App.
Go to Settings.
Go to MMS Settings.
At the bottom is Maximum Message Size.
Open and change.
Thanks a lot. I see now that i have set to 300Kb but if I want to send photo it is resized to 600kb mesage
How to change that.
