Hello all, I come from Hong Kong. I wanna to upgrade my universal to the newest ROM (WM6), since there are only WWE ROM now. can anyone teach me how can my Universal display and input Chinese words after upgrade? I have tried to use CE-Star or Monster before, but there is some crash with the Windows Live (I don't know is the problem fixed now), can I use the build-in ChangJei input method? And how can I do this?

Hi,
Does anyone have the Shipped Rom of Simplified Chinese? Doesn't matter which version. I can't seem to get the SDCard Method of loading the Rom working.
I only know that method of upgrade.
Just want to make mine magician unit to Chinese so my mom can use it.

You've spent hours or even weeks to find the best ROM for you and finally found it but it's as usual WWE only?!
From now it's not a problem anymore!
Any language MUI pack is possible for any Windows Mobile PDA (HTC, ASUS, E-Ten etc)!
Short story is that I was exactly the one who was searching for the best ROM which fits my needs and found it, but faced problems with my native language support (e.g. searching contacts). I spent nights trying different MUI packages, but none was really workable with this ROM. Finally I came to the conclusion that the only MUI package which will 100% work with exact ROM is specially cooked MUI package for this ROM! And problem is solved now with the tool I've implemented!
Here below you will find MUI packs for the most famous ROMs. If you can't find pack for your ROM and language - simply ask for it and provide me with your favorite ROM, your native language official ROM and you'll get back appropriate MUI pack.
Known issues:
Not 100% translation yet
Software keyboard will not be translated (third party keyboard usually used)

2. can I install Sprint Rom on a Rogers HTC touch?

I too was searching for ANY Rom with Korean support. All I had was installing DioPen or Asukal Hangul No5. But had issues with few programs.
I would be wonderful if you can upload or show me "how-to", it will be much appreciated.
Any WM6.1 or WM6.5 Roms will be fine.....

But you ssem to have the same problem, but I ask myself why there are MUI packs available for the ONYX &Elf but do not work?

For the moment this is set of tools which I'm using to localize files and it is not in the release shape yet.
Tell me which exactly ROM you'd like to have Korean and I'll try to help you.

As I said in the headline - there is no universal MUI pack for any ROM, you have to build MUI pack for each ROM kernel.
So, tell me which language you want Onyx ROM v4.4 to be?

I have a problem with a htc t5388i clone bought from china, the seller sent me the phone with win 6.5 installed in spanish, I need english, so I've flashed the phone with an older version of rom and now everething it's ok, except for the camera, it doesn't start at all, my original phone specs are :

I need the same rom
I got also the phone from china and it had the version C03.021.14 ENG. I tried to change the language to Solonomi GER which has a production date from 16. April 2010. All i got was a white screen. On the way back i tried every possible rom i could find on the internet, the only one working was C03.021.08 ENG but without camera-support.
I have seen on ebay that there are even phones out with C03.021.14 GER.
Whoever has such a ROM C03.021.14 please share it with us!

Yes, I've solved the problem, the chinese seller - a dumb woman - sent me the original rom after 2 months, but the phone is a joke, the sound is bad, very low level, you have to have very good ears to hear something and I must say, all chinese clones are crap phones, I found instead a chinese brand, very good, it calls iPro, very good phones and batteries. I couldn't back-up my spanish rom but I can get it for you! I will contact via e-mail! All the best!
Hi I recently acquired an HTC Oboe T9199 phone and it is natively in Chinese. I would like to learn how to flash this phone using an english rom to make the language english. Unfortunately I have no idea how to do this, also where to get the rom.
I appreciate all the help and look forward to any replies.
Also I will be using my Tmobile sim card with this phone.
Still need help with this, is it even possible, I've tried searching through the forums but haven't found anything except guides for the Leo.

this seemed impossible.because this phone is not hacked, the SPL is locked..you cannot use any rom but only the official rom, which has not been updated for a very long time.
