Here's a couple of very good media players, both capable of handling streams.. music or videos.

Hi to everyone.
I am searching for an good mp3 and eventually aac player. windows media player is nice for a few songs but I really hate the way you use the libary (the way you need to change one directory up for other artist etc with you stylus).
tcpmp is nice for movies but not for mp3 playback with more than 50 songs - or am I wrong?
i have heard of ppod but development is frozen and i dont know if i should try it?!
what do you use and what can you recommend?
Ohhh : I need the software for wm2003se (its a HTC Magician)
kind regards, VL

several multimedia players support FLAC: the free (!) TCPMP, Pocket Player, iPlay, CorePlayer etc. I recommend TCPMP for start. http://picard.exceed.hu/tcpmp/test/
Also keep an eye on my articles: I'll, soon(er or later) publish the Multimedia Bible, which (also) answers q's like yours.
Hi Guys,
Another strange question? I have tried to find a media player that plays pretty much everything, though I have managed without success.
Every player I install plays something and leave out another?? And I'm still looking to find a player that plays mpeg-2 files?
I've tried
Core player
Windblows media player
Pocket TV
DivX
What is the preferred player of Topaz that can handle the majority of codec's?
I'm interested o this too, Does someone knows of an app that will play all kind of files?
It might be worth looking at Pocket Player

Hello members, Sorry if this seems a bit of a silly question but fairly new to all this and was wondering on my hd2 after downloading tcpmp, how to use it with my player, bbci and catch up tv etc.. I have tried to configure to use tcpmp on my player but is asks me to use coreplayer or comes up with a protocal error? Some of it works with windows media streaming but would like to use tcpmp as the player, could someone help me on this. Many thanks and look forward to your response.
Hey obviously i cannot use videos on my phone with Winamp Remote. (smartohone SGS). WHen i try audio from Winamp Remote it ok - streams in one thread and i can play them in any player (audio). But video - crunk. Some players show "Unknown error" some just wont play it. I figured out that its protocol rtsc or something like this. But it must work i suppose. Because audio works.. Whatever, some help please? What whould you suggest. Its urgent...
So its must be simple.
Any help, please?
hey buddies, does not not one know about this? This is must be simple.
