Hello!
I am searching for an EMU-Adapter to an 3,5 or 2,5 mm Stereo Headphone Jack with 4 Poles with Microphone-Support for connecting it to an Motorcycle-Intercom.
Has someone an Idea, or is self-soldering the best way?
Does someone know where to buy EMU-Plugs?
Best regards
Juergen

i use my xda 2 as a mp3 player in the car but i need some help. the micro jack that connects the xda to the stereo system gets loose after driving for a while which greatly reduces the sound cooming out of the speakers. any suggestions? thanks in advance......
maybe another converter ?
nah. dont think so. adapters that small are very rare here in the phil. ive tried to look for it at different malls but they really are not available. im using the adapter provided by nokia when you buy a 5510 ( my old phone). im just looking for a way to prevent it from dislodging from the xda2. hmmm, duct tape may be a good idea at this moment......
Bluetac!
expansys have 3 adaptors
or you could make one yourself canabalising an old xda headset
bluetac? is that available in the philippines? i wouldnt even dream of "cannibalizing" my o2 headset. its much too expensive to buy a replacement if ever i "murder" the thing. :?

Maybe its overpriced but I like the style of the original cradle for the Diamond. Well, I've found 3 different version on the HTC online shop all named as CR G300 cradle.
The first was declared discontinued and only pre-order the others.
But whats the differences? All have the same name and the same picture...
But some questions in general: What connectors are on the cradle? I've seen USB and headphone (3,5mm). But can a power supply connected too (for faster charging)? Can I use the radio with standard headphone on the cradle?
Thx & regards,
Purzel
yes you can use radio

Can you measure the cradle and tell me the dimensions? Size of top and bottom and the hight of the device. Thank you
Just wondered if anyone in or around London knows where i can get hold off the usb headphone adaptor with 3.5 mm jack for my compact iv. I don't particularly like the standard headphones so i want to get the adaptor so i can use some different ones.
Thanks Guys (and Girls)

Thats perfect. Couldn't find any where to actually buy over the counter in London so i ordered it.
Does anyone know of a good retailer of accessories for the diamond/compact iv in London?
Hi everyone,
Is there an in-ear earbud replacement for the wired stereo headset that come as a standard accessory with the Diamond?
I do not have small ears by any means, but the standard headset has always been uncomfortable and I much prefer the in-ear variety.
Thanks!
bump ?

i hate the button that doesnt actually disconnect the call just place it on hold

Another thing would be to get an audio extension cable for Diamond and use any of 2.5 or 3.5mm headsets...that Sennheiser MM50 for iPhone is good for sure and it should work with that setup.
Hello fellow 6p users.. I'm thinking of upgrading either my Xiaomi Piston 3 or my AKG 518 headphones to something at the range of around 100€ .
But given the not so great audio quality of the 6p ,i was wondering if it's actually worth it.
I would be very grateful If you could advise me with some solid choices, I'm thinking at the moment the Momentum Sennheiser, either IEM or Over air.. Something with 3 buttons (play/pause and volume control and inline mic) that actually work.
Over air will not be that good, all the air will distort the audio
on a serious note Im using Shure SE215 with mine. as you know audio on 6p isnt great, Viper Audio is a must if you are serious about audio. Im using a headphone amp as well
Shot in the dark but I have these and loe them. Everyone that listens to them has been impressed with the quality.

I'm not sure if this is on topic enough but I've noticed Bluetooth overall is very subpar and can be prone to interference (frequent cut outs when the phone's in my pocket or if I make a very short trip to the next room). This mainly applies to my headphones which have worked fine on several other devices. Of course this would be one of the only times I keep it in my pocket--when using headphones cutting grass, walking, etc.
I'm using viper. The volume and general sound quality are fine, not great be meets my standards. Only bring it up in case anyone happens to know how to improve it.
M50x for sure. Cant be beaten for the money
Wow,no sleep does bad things when typing,i clearly needed some air..
Back on subject, i would love to get M50x but i can't find a good deal either on Greece (my home country) or in Italy that I'm currently for vacation.. Cheapest i can find them is 150€ , which I'll might have ti spend in order to get a good over the air headset.. How is the build quality of the M50?
Thanks for the Bluetooth one,but i prefer wired headphones..
As for viper4android, i haven't rooted yet but i think i will soon in order to improve audio..

@tagari m50x are greatly built, just bought a pair not too long ago. great set of headphones.
I'm not sure if you can get these in Greece, but they are iem that have a built inline dac/amp. The caveat is that it doesn't use the 3.5mm audio jack. It uses the usb-c port, via an adaptor. I got them for my N5 and now use them with my N6p. Works well and you can boost the volume up to the point that it's uncomfortably loud...
