Upgrade Dopod 818 ROM

Hi, I have read a lot of very good messages on this board, but to be honest I'm very new to ROM upgrades... and so far I have not succeded in upgrading my Dopod 818. I have some Bluetooth problems that I would love to disapear, and a new bluetooth manager is in fact what I need.
I have at the moment the following system:
Dopod 818
PM10A
IMEI: 354819002383920
ROM version: 1.0.5.00 WWE
ROM date: 12/24/04
Radio version: 1.05.00
Protocol version: 1337.39
ExtROM version: 1.05.110 WWE
Windows Mobile 2003 second edition,
version 4.21.1088 (build 14235.2.0.0)
Can any of you please point me in the right direction to what ROM I could use, as a couple I have tried have failed with device not responding or wrong type.

should have been in the Magician forum... keep reading and you will find the answer, I found it finally and here is the way to do it:
1. Remove the USB option from Activesync
2. Run the downloaded ROM upgrade program from PC
3. When start screen appears, find the temp folder files and copy
to new upgrade directory.
4. copy "MaUpgradeUt_noID.exe" program to same directory on PC
5. put Dopod in bootloader: press camera + power-on + reset
6. start the MaUpgradeUt_noID.exe program and wait for upgrade to finish.

Deleting program icons in programs display

Hello all
This is my very first post, I have no idea if this topic title was discussed already so if it was please forgive me.
I have a QTEK 9100
G4 model
Rom version: 2.17.7.2 WWE
Rom Date: 02/10/06
Radio version: 02.07.10
Protocol version: 413.1.03
ExtROM: 2.17.7.102
I iunistalled a software from my smart phone, the system stated program uninstalled successfully.
When I go to unistall programs (after unistalling the program) the program is no longer laisted in the unistall program list, that fine so far.
I go Start then choose programs and I notice that the program icon is still there although I unistalled it, however, When I click to launch it the system message box comes up and tell me that it cannot be find/open.
This is ok because the message is correct, after all I deleted the program, but why is the icon still there?
So is there a way to also remove the icon from my program lists?
any help well appreciated.

because the program maker dident make a propper uninstall program
\windows\start menu\programs
or something like that is the path to the shortcut file you should deleete

SPB Applications don't run on WM6???

These are the current configurations of my Qtek S200 G3 after upgrading to WM6:
Remember I only managed to upgrade via a Destop with Windows XP and Active Sync. I was not able to do it with Windows Vista and Windows Mobile Center.....

ROM date: 2/03/07

Before this upgrade I used SPB applications, like SPB Weather and SPB Backup.
Also before the upgrade operation I performed backup of all my data to the SD Card, excluding the option Enviroment Settings. I mean, just the data it self.
After the upgrade I tried to run the EXE generated file by the backup oeration on the SD Card, but nothing happends!
I managed to restore all my data syncronizing the Qtek to the desktop.
I also tried to install SPB Weather, but it does not perform the download operation with the update weather.
Any reports about the incompatibility of SPB Applications running under WM6?

I don't know about spb weather but i have had no problems with spb backup or pocket plus or gprs monitor.
the only issue i can see is that if you restore an spb backup with registry etc onto a different rom that could cause problems.

only spb phone suite is designed for WM6 Professionnal

Error Error

I'm getting some error messages while opening some programs in my k-jam ( TNT 4.0 Official WM6.)

while opening Calender from Left Soft Key,error message is like this: "HTCCalender.exe The file 'HTCCalender' cannot be opened. Either it is not signed with a trusted certificate, or one of its components cannot be found. If the problem persists, try reinstalling or restoring this file."
but I can open the calender from start > programs menu.
how can fix the problem???
what should I do to access the calender from soft keys?
