----------------
i did many optimisations, stripped what i do not need( wlive, etc).
Everything is stone stable, fast as 1413 can be(1% slower than new core), machine never hung...
BUT there is one problem i cant handle:
-ad2p is not working...i mean in best case sound is mono(despite jointstereo=1 etc..), no fixes, any cabs can help with this problem,
what should i do now.....
i used doubleofour's kitchen(if i remember right..).
i tried to exchange SYS/Bth_A2DP and Bth_A2DP_Lang_0409 , Avrcp_MPplugin.dll, bta2dp.dll, sbc.dll with other versions, etc, i tried to implement every ad2p fixes etc, nothing helped..
is there anyone, than can help me?
i spent so many time to make this build...now i am close to remove whole 4 gb wizard os factory and data...
i am ready to make one more try, BUT WHAT KITCHEN can provide such mem handling possibilities, as older not mem hungry cores(i mean what to do with newest kitchen oses to get OLD commgr and OLD dialer...).
i do not need ridiculous hogs like cube, biototuch, new monstrous dialer and nightmarish commgr that eats 2 mb.
180 views and no help?
need to get ad2p working...
k thx a lot, you are so kind.
I think this was covered earlier, but I have two cabs here that contain the AKU 3.3 A2DP files as well as the certificates needed to make them run. You cannot run the files without the certificates. Since I'm really busy right now, you'll have to break these down into files yourself, then you can solve the problem.
Thanks for the props in the other thread. There are scads more people that are responsible for the success of this forum.
Peace.
thanks, i will check it as soon as possible.
There must be method, if i did not break whole ad2p subsystem..BT is working fine, i can sync etc...so there's hope...
Man Nothin' I wish I used A2DP now, just so I could help you out!!
Unfortunately I am clueless!! I know I can stream stereo bluetooth to the Ford Sync system!!
Can you post the themes you're using?
thanks to jwzg for working cabs.
i will post themes soon.
ad2p - is working now, zoki's fix seems to help a bit,
btw, wayfarer is abandoned project, now it is named paradox - 25 mb of added programs, and >34 mb mem free....but i am not gonna release this project on xdadev - it is too stripped to be used in most of countries - no windows live etc...

Language may be funny, but screens says more than text...everything what is shown is inside rom...
only thing i wish to do is makin' this rom Polish...i don't know how.
i can post its themes too...
they're HIGHLY optimised(portrait/landscape <80 kb).
some files (thems etc.) can be downloaded here:

I just noticed the following tool over in the Hermes forum. Looks pretty cool. Some of the settings are specific to a 3G phone, but most look to work for the Wizard (I haven't tested it extensively since I just found it, so be prepared to have to do a hard reset if it isn't compatible)
I couldn't find a thread specifically on it, but here's an image of the A2DP settings screen (which is what caught my attention):

Download the attached zip and move the .exe over onto your phone. Create a shortcut to it if you want it to be in your program folder. Enjoy!
I have heard of some people that actually use this on a wizard. I personally found no use for it. Let us know how it works.

Hi would anyone care to elaborate on this?
I cannot seem to find a satisfying setting that works for me.
The settings shown in the screenprint seem to work as long as your not further then 1 meter from your wizard.
The sound quality seems to be the best when using 41 as bitpool values. But then again the BT skipping seems worse.
A cannot find any explanation for the other values, so i left them alone.
I'm using the XDA mobile 6 ROM.

I can't elaborate, but I do agree with everything you said, I find it best leaving any settings alone. The ingenetics rom dump works best for me.
here is some settings for a2dp on the hermes forum.... i personally don't use it.. but saw your post and figured this might help... some..
not sure if all is applicable to the wizard directly... but looks like it should be good.

bootup, has a female elf photo and then some chinese woman with HTC.
very impressed with speed and responsiveness compared to WM5
Voice speed dial -- broken, missing dll?
Midlet manager -- broken, missing dll?
Clearvue pdf -- broken, missing dll?
Backlight button doesnt work
PS. drop the cheesy pics, eh?
Not from here I don't think.
flash a decent rom from any of the reputable rom builders here, and not some insane chinese fetishist.
Psi
Hmmm, you must be kidding or you downloaded the ROM from somewhere else & just want to find out!
It's mo3ulla's ROM! I've given you a clue, do a quick search & you'll find what you're looking for.
I've reflashed jwrite ROM and have to say Mozilla is A LOT faster.

1... voice speed dial - deleted .... use ciberon voice dialer or commander ( he has much more functions)
2. midlet manager - -- deleted .... install separately or not install at all
3. clearvue - deleted --- extremely buggy and slow software .. if you need this install separately
4. Backlight button -- works just bind action for it

Really would like to try your V1.01, but I can't run without Flash Disk for extra storage. Will test your version with FD when it comes. Cheers!
Definitely Mo3ulla's ROM
Thanks to the sire today for not reading my thread, im new to this so I would appreciate some help with this post, i have looked through the forums but cant find anything to guide me straight, so il ask again for some kind assistance.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I have recently after hours of reading installed the above rom to my phone, and i like the speed of it and the design thanks Dutty.
I am new to this area and was very hesitant to try the non original roms in case i bricked my phone but I seem to have done ok, I have a few slight issues with this rom and would ask the experience of the forum members for help please understand im nieve to this rom updating.
When I start my phone i have the following rom version,
R 1.65.16.25
G 25.83.40.02W
D 3.5 Dutty's
In device info is -
Build is showing as 5.2.19588 WM6.1
Radio is 1.65.16.25
Protocol Version - 25.83.40.02W
Firstly is this the right setup?
2. Is there a faster or better rom available (Dutty's) that would be more compatible with the tytn 2?
3. Is the radio compatible with this version if not how do I change it please and to which version?
I seem to be having some minor glitches with the setup which i will go through and see if there are any fixes.
a. under comm manager I dont have the option to turn on data connection its greyed out!
b. it tries to download emails but tells me to adjust setting although i know the email ones are 100% right, this may be because of the data connection issue how do i fix?
c. There is no HSDPA tab anymore on connections
d. When i open the start menu from today screen it shows as black or fuzzy and not the list of programs and apps until i touch it with stylus pen?
e phone reception seems to be worse can this be fixed.
f. screen freezes sometimes aswell.
if anyone can assist me with these issues i would be grateful. thanks Wayne.
2.
reason nobody has answered is because every question u ask has been answered. stop being lazy and read or the mods will give u a kick in the arse.
p.s. ofcourse radio is compatible thats why u can make calls. AND don't double post again.

1st
Install Active Sync on your Personal Computer and use it to backup your phone.
2nd
Start Menu -> Settings -> Today, 2nd tab
Disable TF3D (ignore the warning)
Enable date and other 'Today-Screen-PlugIns'

This is what I have running from top to bottom;
Pocket Digital Clock - http://project.ionized.googlepages.com/pdc
tdLaunchY - http://www.freewarepocketpc.net/ppc-download-tdlaunchy-v1-6.html
Sun'n'Moon - http://www.freewarepocketpc.net/ppc-download-sunnmoon-v1-2.html
Windows Live - WindowsLive_0409.PPC2005_arm.cab
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=E4510356-4B0B-4E9C-AB38-7C19F55DF5D3&displaylang=en
And ofcourse the Theme allblack.tsk
(unzip and copy to Windows Directory) Start Menu -> Settings -> Today, 1st tab
i don't usually do this, but i'm going to give you my opinion on that today screen:
- MESSY
- you need to use a stylus for those little icons
- you have softkey buttons "5678" THEN "1234" ...why?
Personally, i believe the Diamond 2 is "new age" enough to use a bit of eye candy.
My first PPC (iMate Pocket PC) had a "prettier" look that this.
Sorry for the negative critique :/
do you realy like this screen?
I do like it for the moment LOL
You must know that TMobiel statically 'froze' manilla on my Topaz cq making it nearly impossible to alter it in any way! It is a horrible interface. I didn't even bother to make a screenshot(!), because after 2 and a half hours I deactivated TF3D, took the stylus out and never looked back.
Now and than I do switch to different today plugins and must admit that tdLaunchY has kinda tiny icons <g>
Well I'll give Easy Today Launcher a try. It has more of a finger friendly look

have you not considered flashing a new ROM onto your device? that way you could do what you want! (trust me, TF3D is GREAT when it runs smoothly!)
good luck (if you're worried about flashing a cooked ROM, you can gladly PM me, it's easy)
I also do not use TF3D or ... I use SPB pocket plus and some nice today plugins and base today may also look nice. .. all aplication I use are one or max two click without stylus!!! ...and make changes is quite simple. The system responds and works quickly ... I have a phone for work and efficiency and speed control is important to me than a complicated adjustable slow TF3D.
So i was toying around with one of the kitchens on my linux box and was able to port kaos gingerbread to the heroc, it is pretty close to pure aosp i decided to post it up because i can
you can check out punk.kaos' original work/thread here
as i am not a dev i have no idea what the next steps would be to fixing some of the remaining issues but so far it seems to work (my hero is not connected to a network so their are things i cant inherently test)
what doesnt work
-bluetooth audio (connects but no audio pass through)
-LED notifications
-USB mass storage (still works in kernel so its def something user space i just dont know what files control it)
-camera just white screens ( a job for somebody way more skilled than I)
-gallery3d freaks out when changing orientation
unless stuff is a simple fix (like moving files from 1 rom to another) (i still have an aospGBmod version on my comp) it likely wont get fixed unless a dev wants to help out
other than those issues it seems to run fine

im happy about it too, but sadly their is some stuff that needs to be fixed that is above my scope of work
Good luck on this! Jasonmaloney is also trying to accomplish this. Great to see devs still interested in our little heros.

So basically, this is what we have to look forward too from AospCMod? From what I read in 5 minutes, Kaos basically did the same as Aosp does and based it from Cyanogenmod 7. Hes just brought it alot closer to Vanilla than Aosp so far.
