anyone else having problems sending pics from their picture and videos ?
I can send pics if I start at the text messaging center but when ya go to pics and vids and choose send image it only sends a blank text tmobile says that there towers are experiencing problems well my thoughts are if you can send pic messages from the messaging then its not the towers fault

I have my new Diamond Pro and when I receive a SMS message from a person i already send text messages to it comes up under a separate message (not threaded) with their phone number and not their name? Has anyone else come across this and what was the fix?
Haven't seen a fix for this but i know i send pics to facebook all the time and i've got a long thread going that includes all the pics i've sent. i just insert it as an attachment and send but yah, i know what you're talking about.
go to Settings => System and check text messaging . make sure it says threaded .
umm.. it already is.. this is a problem with just receiving pic mail..
Are you on Sprint and are you talking about the Touch Pro or the Touch Diamond?

I have the same problem. Mine is on the AT&T network though.
This also seems to happen when sending and receiving SMS emails or pict messages. The message reply comes from a different address -- something like 101010045. Strangely, replying to this address still works, but it screws up the threading. Kind of annoying.
oh here is the deal.. i did a backup from my mogul to the diamond using pim backup and it moved the folders around..
i did a hard reset and now i have a pic mail folder in my mail. the MMS is threaded seperately from the SMS which is cool but sucks.. I would rather SMS and MMS be linked in the same folder like it worked on my mogul.
now i have to go and search for when prople send me pics in that folder :-( rather than it just be in the SMS threaded history.. does anyone have a fix for this? or even cares..??
I don't have a Touch Pro or a Fuze, waiting for the Fuze to come out, but I do have a WM6.1 Blackjack II and I found the threaded SMS to kind of be a pain. It took a while to load each thread and for some reason didn't look as crisp as the normal 1 message for each screen.
Do the normal threaded SMS on the Touch Pro load well? Look ok?
Any solutions yet?
Has anyone found a solution to this yet? I'm having the same problems as the TC. All sms I send and receive are threaded. Even mms I send are threaded along with the sms. Only when someone sends me a mms does each one gets separated into separate threads. Is there anyway to solve this issue?
I have a Fuze that's been unlocked to work for t-mobile. I've been getting help from you guys/gals on here (thanks a lot), but I need a few more tips.
1. I can't seem to RECEIVE picture messages from people (also, I think that I'm getting in my "inbox" any message that I sent outgoing??). Is there a setting I need to adjust, or is it a ROM issue? any other software that I can use to change/update my text messaging management?
2. I don't know if I have a regular or cooked ROM, and I don't know what version I have, do you know where to find this info out?
I'm not very technical, but I'm trying to learn.. please explain very plainly if you can...

I am on tmobile also with an unlocked fuze and get picture messages just fine. Can you explain more as to what is happening? do you get regular text messages? and is it only picture messages that you dont receive can you receive voice text messages?
[on a side note] I'm not sure what has been done to my phone since I bought it used. it looks as thought the att bloaware has been uninstalled, and I also have a Tab in setting that says "xbmod manilla fro xda dev, TouchFLO 3D 2.0 3737395.3" whether or not that might affect anything. [end side note]
I DO get text messages, and I've never been sent a voice text (I'll have to test this). the weird thing about my messages is that they show up on the main TF3d screen, however they don't seem to be anywhere in the folders
When I tried to test getting an MMS message with a pic added, I had my sister send me 2 messages. one with only text (just saying "hi") and another with only a photo added. They both show up on my main MESSAGES TF3d tab, and the MMS message says "Click to view MMS", however when I click on the message it takes me to menue with my conversations with my sister and there is NO SIGN of the MMS message, only the one that says "hi".

I tried to send a picture message but it kept showing up as "slide show". I wasn't able to send the slideshow with a message.
I was eventually able to send the message by sending the single picture (slideshow) by itself and then send the text after the fact.
Is there a way I can send a single picture (not as a slide show) AND better yet, can I send a single picture with text attached?
Is this a Froyo thing? I rooted and modded so early I never got to send an MMS before.

I can send MMS with text to AT&T and T-Mobile phones. Verizon I have to do one at a time. Picture then text or vice versa

Mine always shows up as a slideshow regardless of which carrier I send the message to. Annoying, but hopefully it'll be worked out in the official release of 2.2 which should be coming soon.
For some reason, whenever someone sends me a MMS picture in a text message, I get a notification from sprint that there is a picture mail to be viewed with a link. This has been happening since before I rooted. I tested this from a friends phone, sent the same picture to my phone and my wifes phone at the same time. She got it fine as MMS, but I get the notification about a picture mail. Any ideas??
I had the same issue when I first got my EVO4G. I called Sprint they reset my MMS/SMS settings on their end, never had an issue since.
My One S doesn't send picture messages. When i try to send a picture, the phone displays the sending sign but doesnt send the message, after a long time it says message couldnt be sent. I am on a stock phone (no root) on T-mobile.
i have this problem on wind as well.
MMS works fine here. It is more than likely an issue with your carrier and you should contact them.
