Screen pulsing white - 8125, K-JAM, P4300, MDA Vario ROM Development

I have just received a new cingular 8125 the other day. Today I Sim/Cid unlocked and then upgraded my rom to NBD 7.9. I used the T-mobile 2.26 Rom as the upgrade from buttons 1.05 and everything was working fine. But when NBD 7.9 was loaded, and I clicked Start, the screen began to dim white and slowly pulse white. The only part of the screen that wasn't white was the top quarter inch of the screen. I thought it was just the ROM so then I just upgrade to TNT 4.0 and it still does that but when im in programs or settings. It doesn't do it in every window but it happens at the same window every time. Its a brand new phone straight from Cingular as a replacment. Does anybody have any ideas?
Thanks in advance

I have had this happen when I overclocked too high. Is this the case with you?

Do a hard reset to clear it.

Weird White Screen

I have installed Core 2.0 on my G3 T-mobile MDA US CID/SIM unlocked IPL/SPL 2.26, and i am having a problem. This white screen keeps coming up whenever i don't do touch anything for like 5 sec. to get rid of it all i have to do is slide out the keyboard a little, but it keeps coming back. It covers up the whole screen and is really annoying when im trying to watch videos. Is there a way to fix this?

My SCREEN KEEPS GOING BLANK HELP ME!!

My T-Mobile MDA US G3 IPL/SPL 2.26 running Faria's PRO ROM kitchen keeps having a problem where my screen turns completely white at random times and does not go away until i slide the keyboard slightly out. This has been happening when i was on Core 2.0 and now Faria's ROM and even when i downgraded to the T-Mobile 2.26 ROM when switching from Core to Faria it happened. Is there any way to fix this, please someone help me I cant stand not being able to use my phone as my screen keeps on turning white unless i have the keyboard slid out slightly. If it is slid out all the way it will keep turning white and if is not slid out at all my screen will keep turning white. It gets really annoying when you are trying to type something and the screen turns white and you have to slide they keyboard back in and out. If there is anyone who has some sort of idea on how to fix this or a fix to it please tell me!!
try other WM6.0 roms to get more feedback, maybe it is because your device unlocked!!!
Well it still happened in the short time i had the T-Mobile 2.26 ROM so i dont think switching to another WM6 will work.

Anyone else having problems with SPL3.56 Hard on New ATT 6.1

I did some searching and found various threads saying the screen flickering is caused by a wrong SPL. Oddly enough, I thought SPL 3.56Hard would be the correct SPL for the newest ATT ROM.
I noticed several things...
1. Some times when the power button is pressed the screen turns on for a split second then turns off immediately. If I press the power button again it works fine.
2. After sitting for awhile with not usage if I press the power button, the screen turns on dim, then brightens up.
Just wondering if anyone else is having this problem or only me?
That was a problem with the older ROM (same as Shogun used in his Death 4.x ROMs), wasn't it? I have the same SPL still (3.56Hard) but switched to SJ's Omnia ROM, where that problem went away. I thought somebody said it was fixed in this AT&T release... was it not?

I specifically loaded HardSPL 3.56 for this ROM. I have loaded it and have not experienced any issues.
I am having the same problem with the display being dim and then brightening up.
see sig for specs

No issues here. Using cmonex RUU-329-patch-nostuckinSPL.zip

P.S.: I started making patch for 3.56 SPL too but then decided that SPL was too crappy (missing a lot of useful commands). but if someone specifically wants that version I can post it too

HELP! I need to restore my WM5 Operating system to take it back to the O2!

About 2 mounths ago I upgraded my OS from WM5 TO WM6.5. Off late the screen has started to play up, and it constantly fades to white leaving lines on the screen however they go when I press the stand by button. I know this has nothing to do with the OS as it happened on my previous wizard. In order to take it back to O2 I need to restore the OS as I think upgrading it breeches their warrenty contract. Can anybody help me please.
always You can buy bricked wizard and replace screen module from broken one- service manual was on xda-developers FTP

My screen fades to white & restarts by itself only if I push the processor to much with overclocking. So I reduce the processors speed & everything is ok again.
If the above isn't relative to your problem then take a look at Wizard Upgrates. There you can find a lot of official Roms.-
