Hi all
ok i bought a ipaq hw6915 from eBay to find out it was a French rom and not English ( i am sending it back as the eBay description did not say this and no English rom is available )
anyway should i stick with my choice of the hw6915 or should i go for a o2 xda orbit as it seems to have more support from what i can see
i believe both are made by htc but it seems hp are not updating the 6915 to wm6 plus the English rom thing
what should i do / buy

iPAQ 6915 is a fine device. It has it 'all'.
Orbit has official WM6. If I were you, I would have stayed with ipaq provided that it used english language. But, if the language is a problem to you change it with another device
if you want to see how an hw6915 looks afte a few monts of using ( full of scratches, cheap plastic covers) let me know.

i went for the 6915 again and will see how it goes - if i am not happy with it i will resell it for same price as its used but not to old

Well since you wanted a phone, and not a full-blown PDA, you've probably made the right choice.

ETEN X500 Vs ASUS P535

it would be nice find a direct user of one of these devices ( htc p3300 , eten x500 , asus p535 ) to try to obtain a "personal" feedback ; I feel that they are very interesting devices but I do not find one real user .....is it possible ?

Regarding this quick comparison test, I prefer the Asus :
- 256 Mo
- 520 MHz
- Standard USB connector
- Design (I Do not like the eten design)
But for now I already have a P3300 and feel very happy with it despite the "slow" processor.

Yes the P3300 is really a good device, even if it does not work as fast as my "old" S100. Depending on your use, you could need a little more speed. Ex : I tried to run both wifi and GPS with Wififofum, but the device freeze as it is not fast enought. Wififofum works well without the GPS enable.
Note : I never tried this with the S100.
The onboard GPS (sirfIII) works very well, and tomtom 6 provided with the device is fluid.
In France the P3300 is wifi enabled, but in some countries and depending on the mobile operator, other versions may to be sold with no wifi. See http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=282421 for more details. There is an interesting thread about this subject.

sorry for the delay in posting my thoughts but here thay are.
Wel i have used a lot of PDA devices over the years and i must say that the X500 is one of the best i have every used its FAST very FAST.
It fits in your hand a lot better than the xda's its vey light.
The gps works very quick under 6 seconds to get a Fix witch is alot better than the G500 or the G500+.
I will be posting some pics of the phone later.

Not found any real problems yet apart from
as the pds is very thin it dose flex a bit andthis might be a problem if its in your pocket.
Now eten has supplyed a nice case thats not much bigger than the pda that will sove the flexing in your pocket.

hi . i want something i want enyone help me . i sold my jasjar and i will buy another ppc but im so confused i think about o2 xda atom and imate kjam ( i was have kjam b4 i buy my jasjar ) and HTC p4350 witch one i buy aaaawwwww
truthfully? You should have stayed with the jasjar.
but if you're looking for something smaller...
the P4350 is basically a imate kjam (htc wizard) with a better camera and slimmer case and no IrDA
the atom is not really worth or so i've read. It's about only a bit smaller than the jasjar and there are hardware issues out the woohoo...
I use a Mwg Atom Life and i like the device no issues <<knock on wood>>

It is only a program to block the screen. I proved it and I uninstall, because it consumes much battery when resident remaining.

maciasp, on the video is the htc home screen installed, the one that we can find in wm 6.1. that link that you provided is only an application, but, is like the iphone one, i have that allready. if you see the video, he is watching at the weather, the htc touchflo cube 3D, things that i don't think that are on winterface.
I've comunicated via msn with the owner of that phone, and it is not a magician, but a charmer.
So dont keep your hopes on running wm6 on the magician
qtek s100 and qtek s110 are using same platform, only some small differences are between them. so, i'm still waiting an idea about that rom or what is it. i tried to contact him on msn or yahoo messenger, but without any luck.
P.S. just a clarification: qtek s100 is the same as spv m500, magician, o2 xda II mini, etc.

thats clearly an s200! (probably with a grey casing)
s100 and s110 can not run wm6.
only a charmer can and that is s200 not s110 or s100
i had qtek s100, 110 and s200, and trust me, i know them very well. first of all, the keys aren't the same, second, the led from the operator signal isn't the same, and i'm telling you all of this from my experience. i'm attaching printscreens with qtek s110 and s200 exactly with the differences.

that's why i'm asking you all, how is working on s110 wm6, or which software does he use?
and..if you look more carrefuly at the video, at the end, he is rotating the device, and it is looking exactly like qtek s110, and not s200, and the comm manager button doesn't seem to be anywhere on the left side of the device (the one from the video):
s200 comes in 2 different looks. the one which you have shown here having different styled keys and the other one which looks exactly like s110 with no difference in looks.

I have hp iPaq rz1710 PDA that has the first version of windows and it is in french language. Does anybody know if I can upgrade this version to the latest one or at least any newer, but the main thing is that it is in english language, and where can I find it. And if I decide to go and buy a new one, what´s the price of it.
