I was looking over the vox forum reading up on any work done on wm6 and noticed that the vox has a radio with the version: 4.1.13.41_02.88.90 does anybody know if the radio software is compatible with the tornado? seeing as how the vox is basicly a tornado with a slide-out keyboard, im guessing yes.. if anyone could be kind enough to maybe extract it and if possible test it that would be awsome

What is the best radio version to use for AT&T on a Palm Treo 750 with WM6.1
I used the Treo750_OS5_2_19199WWE_STD to upgrade and everything seems to be working. I am just curious if anyone has any input to the best radio to use.

Found out that this radio works great with EDGE but totally sucks with 3G on the ATT network.
I use the old 1.54.01.00 and it works pretty decent
no luck on this one either
I downloaded Treo750Radio1.54.07.00.rar and flashed it and now my firmware version is 1.54.01.00??? Was a little better on the 3G but still had problems. Does anyone know which version radio was in the last desktop updater? Can I extract it using nbhextract and if so how do I modify the script.txt to repackage just the radio using nbhgen?

We have been forced into upgrading our hardware from the Qtek 2020i/HTC P6500 to the Vodafone V1615 (HTC Kaiser) for our nursing staff, the PDAs are used to run a specific application which runs fine on the old models, strangely enough it also works on the Kaisers that have WM6.0 OS.
I do however have 20 PDAs that are running WM6.1, the application will not run on these, I am looking to downgrade a test model back to WM6.0 and was wondering if someone has a WM6.0 ROM I could get hold of.
I hope someone can help with this "little" problem

It appears the application is working now until it attempts to load visit details when it falls over, I am assuming this may be due to the .net version on the PDA. I am going to try and get older .net (cf) versions installed onto the PDA

16 month after buying, sometimes the GSM was not attach on network... and now never.
Except after an upgrade of the ROM, one time find GSM and no more !
Do you have an idee ?

I've already the same issue with my Polaris / Orbit 2.
It worked for many months perfectly but then sometimes the SIM detection was unsucessful and lateron the SIM access was completely lost. In that time I used my Polaris with the original O2 ROM with WM6.
After deciding to send it to O2 in case of warranty I installed the new O2 WM6.1 Update and it worked properly for nearly 4 weeks. Then this issue came back.
Several soft- and hardresets has make me unsure what to do. Because sometimes it works, sometimes not. For me it is a clear sign for a software issue, not for a hardware defect. In case of a hardware defect, it might be completely have lost the SIM access, and not only partially.
I've installed the following programs:
SPB MobileShell 3.5, SPB Diary & Phone Suite, SPB Backup, MS Voice Command, PCM Keyboard, PCM Image Viewer, S2U2, MS .NET 3.5, TT7
ROM: 3.13.207.0 GER
Radio: 1.59.42.15
Does anybody knows a solotion forthis issue?
Perhaps a bug-free radio ROM? I actually don't want to flash an other ROM because of the warranty of the device.
Next year we can talk about "quick and dirty tuning".....

About custom ROM of course. OK I know the first reaction to such question is that the question is stupid and "find out yourself" and such.
But I don't even have the device (I have HD2 and Touch Pro), I want to upgrade a colleague's Polaris because WM5 and our new Exchange 2010 don't fit very well.
So I don't have the time, our "prerequisites" are simple:
- WM6.1 and up.
- Manila (of any version) welcome.
- Stable and light.
Anybody can help?
If you are looking for WM6.1 then I recommend ROM in my signature. It comes without Manila. There is also a full flavor of this ROM with manila

WM5? I will explain. The touch cruise shipped with 6.0 upped to 6.1 then cooked to 6.5/6.5.x.

3LIT3 VIII Naked is probably the best choise. Everything what I tried worked without problem and soft-resets I did only extraordinarily.
Kostas' A- version is a stable WM6.5 rom, everything works very well.
