The X-Button doesn't work. When I open a program or setting I cannot close it. It works fine with other ROMs. I really like this ROM. Hope I can find a fix.

Problems closing programs...other than that, VERY nice ROM, wizeman.
EDIT: It seems the closing program problem *may* have something to do with screen calibration (alignment)...because sometimes when I click "X" or "OK", the right softkey "button" is clicked. Not sure if this will help with a fix. I sure hope this can be resolved, as this ROM is the PERFECT fit for me.

It works on my locked G4. To get the nk.nbf file, you have to launch it so you get to the first screen, then use Windows to search for the file (make sure you search all folders + hidden files), it'll be the one in your TEMP folder (in a subfolder with RAR and some number). Then flash with ShellTools like normal.
And this is a GREAT rom. Very fast. I really like it.
edit: also, I couldn't find PIM Backup and had to download it....where did you put it?

It's in the Office Mobile folder.

i am having the same issue with my "x" button. Softkey is pressed sometimes instead of "X", like TomInMb described. I tried to run welcome.exe to align screen again, but same issue still.
Any fix for this yet?? Other than that, great rom, with lots of useful stuff, and not too much bloat-ware. Very speedy and responsive.

I did change PP to 8 mb, now is super fast, I'm using WP and try to eliminate weather icon using HTC Home Cust.and I can see the reg. changed to 5 icons but the Icon is still there, anyone else noticed that?

actually there is no possibility to put neo plugin with WM6.1
6.1 use the same system of chome but no possibility actually to port neo chome into wm6.1 chome
after there is no possibility to make neo plugin CAB. We don't know why but it work only in a cooked rom.
I think Microsoft hide something.
so some people work actually on porting neo into wm6.1

Been running this ROM for a few hours now - so far so good. ActiveSync locked up once, but a soft reset fixed that. Otherwise, everything seems to be running smoothly. Very snappy response and stable!

as far as activesync goes, I'll look into it, but it usually does that on every ROM I flash

This is a great cooked rom. Not ultra fast, but fast and STABLE
Batti Config crashed on me twice. No other issues from what I've seen and good gps lock with tt6.
The green coloring needs to grow on me a bit, though hehe.

thanks for the response mate
as far as speed, thats what im going to be focusing on my next hybrid release. as far as color, i plan on releasing a black variant later. oh, and im going to remove batticonfig as i cant get the oem package to work correctly, but ill put the cab up. look for v1.5 in the next few days addresing all these issues

1. Open PHM Registry Editor from Start Menu > Programs > Tools, and make sure the following keys are correct:

3. Soft-reset by pushing the stylus into the reset hole

Nice work, I was playing with the throttle roms, but I can't make myself like them. I think the main annoyance is the kaiser has a border on the screen and you can't easily select the very left or very right buttons. I assume the border is flush on the diamond / touch pro.

In my opinion, yes, but 3d tests will not be as smooth

I flashed the ROM last night, and it's pretty slick, very nicely done. Cleartype in landscape mode is totally messed up, however. I'm able to view text and type in landscape mode, but auto-completion just shows an empty box. (There are words in it, as you can see the highlight bar, but the text is invisible, highlighted or not.)
Additionally, if you're running a program, then switch the orientation from portrait to landscape, all text disappears.
(I know, it's a problem common to all WM6.1-based ROMs without special cooking, but in seeing the item, re: landscape fixed in Opera, as well as using the different driver, I was hoping that it was fixed.)

yes, in my next release I am going to remove opera (WAY too many bugs in every version I try) and include a .cab that will fix cleartype if you are willing to give up Direct 3d My next one will also be based on the latest diamond build

Anyone have stability problems with this ROM?
I really want to try it, sometimes I use my phone for work and I need stability.

Just found a small problem:
When copying and paste,nothing shows until you get out of the folder you're in.

Unfortunately the one shown in the screenshot is not the one I got in the rom.. (the number keys on top are missing and thats just what I hoped to gain) the icon set is nice, but the rom feels a lil sluggish with hardSPL 3.56
Are the icon lib and keyboard available as cabs?

Hi, this is the first ROM from PDAVIET I have tried after using many others, and this is what I like and do not like:
GOOD
- HTC Home included, the version with new icons
- Office and Onenote included
- Windows Live an Messenger included
- Remote desktop, pocketRAR, PIM Backup included
- Can install old DDI drivers to have Cleartype in landscape
- Fast switch from portrait to landscape
- No dragon / alien / manga / pokemon... etc childish splash screen
DID NOT LIKE
- Camera is 4.08, OK, but could include 5.04
- Windows Media player skin...
- Explorer display refresh failure. I can live with it, but it's and odd bug

Issues found
1. Enabling the cooked in Enlarge Start Menu or installing JUVS Enlarge Start Menu does not give you a large start menu.
2. You cannot change the Start Menu items. Changes do not stick and the links to the files you select for the Menu then get corrupted in the Program folders.
3. FreeMem utility does not seem to work
I will flash again and see if that corrects some of the issues I have been finding.

Update: Enlarge Start Menu worked after flashing rom a second time. Menu Items stick if I soft reset after making the changes.

Not happening here. I have created new folders in \Windows\Start menu\Programs and moved icons around. The changes are visible on Start - programs and are not modified afer soft-reset.
Anyway, had to abandon this ROM because it has a problem with GPSTuner, it gets a GPS Fix, but all coordinates are shown as 0. GPS works OK on other programs, but this is the first ROM that I see that has problems with GPSTuner.

Try Start>Settings>Personal>Menu and check/uncheck different programs with Enlarge Start Menu enabled. If it works fine for you then I probably have some type of flashing issue.

I'm getting error when loading messages,tmail error and it asks to send report to microsoft. Did hardreset and same thing happend this time with contacts

Pros:
-Just the fact that this is from PDAVIET, always loving it!
-Love the base theme. pin stripes on the background should be faded, they make mail kinda hard to read. But love the theme otherwise!
-perfect preloaded collection for me.
-new Advanced config 3.2 is nice! has some new options I'm glad to change!
Cons:
-had to enter email settings like 3 times before the IMAP account showed up. This didn't happen with the exchange account
-actually not sure that 20748 is a faster build. This is the second rom that I've tried. Might go back to RoMEOS 4.2
-had the same enlarge start menu issues and changing start menu items issues that other have had
Will keep trying stuff for some today and see how things go.

I saw this too.

I'm a fan of the Pdaviet ROMs from Hermes too... and nice coincidence to see this show up since it looks like my current favorite chef is moving on (I'm just newly arrived to the Kaiser world)
One caveat tho, duuno if this will be the case here, but the chef's from Pdaviet didn't tend to come to xda as much since they had their own forums ie..
