I have ported this rom from the latest dopod trinity rom.
The OEMDRIVERS folder has had all modules converted to files to save having to rebase every DLL, maybe if I find time I will do that.
Tomorrow I should be able to release the kitchen, so please chefs dont try to steal my thunder just yet.
I do have on request though, please do not use this rom for the same generic "Fully packed" homebrews.
Just look in the Wizard forum now and see how many similar roms there are.... Its sad.
Also, I wish someone would tell me where the heck to edit the bootscreen OS version!?!

1. Its all setup for the UK (Regional, Timezone and Keyboard)
2. O2 GPRS/WAP/MMS Settings are Preinstalled

i have ported some of files from hermes released and put some of 15342 dll's and modules on it (which is the best dll's for wizard) but still under testing and have some isuues, i hope by this we can compare and have the best.

there is something wrong
the same issue with 15342 base rom which is if you call someone and his line is busy, the device will show connected for 1-2 sec then call ended.
check it and call yourself
i have test it and i have one big problem discovered
it`s the power button if you pressed to turn it off it wont
this rom is really fast, i can`t wait for the next one
sorry but it is based on 15342 with replacing some new dll's and modules from 5.2.1437 then edit the OS versions like shown on http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=Wizard_version_hack also device information edited and remove rom date, radio version, ...
some issues:
- after 30 min (sometimes) the device fully switched off.
- can't switch off the device by pressing power button for 5 sec
- device information missed many things
- all 15342 base rom issues

I am with guys regarding power issue, its turned itself off. this is a big problem, the ROM is fast.
First of all thanks a lot Whiterat for this spendit rom,had installed since last night ,seem work great the two problem i got is the date roll back to 11/08/2006 and the bluetooth haedset paire and heard nothing when a incoming call.

The device information is fine except for ROM Version/Date (Which are still that of .318 because they are stored in OS.nb and no-one wants to share information on how to change it)
oh and that busy call thing is a Microsoft rom problem, I can almost guarentee any device does the safe - if not then its something to do with the OEMDrivers which we are forced to use (November 2006)

maybe it`s worth to try with the same files from the latest mun realease (1413) instead of 318 files ... or a combinstion

OS 5.2.318 is very different from 5.2.1413.. almost all of the module, components of 318 has been replaced and been improved by 1413..
its not a good idea that 318 will be replaced by some part of 1438. The result is most of the exe will be corrupted.. like the office, the note and more..
YES 1413 is very different from 318 but only as far as the SYS folder goes.
The majority of OEMDrivers are identical, and the XIP...Well that is a mixture of both.
nk.exe (The CE kernel) in EVERY WM6 release for the wizard is identical, it was built in November 2006 by Microsoft, this will never change since we cannot get the source and no operator will release WM6 for wizard.

Just tested bluetooth with a friends Jabra BT500, Works perfectly.
Dont forget under bluetooth device to tap and hold the headset and select "Set as Hands-free"
ALSO can everyone who is having problems with the device turning off or rebooting please tell me your device type, I have a feeling it is related to G3 devices only.

New OS build contains not whole files from tytn's rom, but more of them.
As i said before: camera is oem application and couldn't work on wizard. And i rebuild some modules from tytn's rom by myself to force it to work.
Im going to finish my tests of that rom, but i can say now that it has very good perfomance. It works like a charm.
Btw, it is unique rom. All roms that contains os 5.2.968 and the same build or rom version, will have my rom as base rom. So I am the first man who made that work

Ok guys, for those of you that were looking for a G3 version with all the reg patches that are related only to this release, here you go. I tested it and have been running for 24 hours. All is good. Let me know if you guys have problems. This file incorporates all the reg keys that faria's cab puts in minus the ones for applications that arent installed. Also i removed key that caused ringtone issues. I removed the 2 startup applications that do not exist in the windows directory and Also included the single line date. Also removed links to Voice Command and Voice Speed Dial from the Programs Menu (I saw them as pointless). This ROM runs quite fast, just a warning. All the ROM building was done by mUn.

BUGREPORT:
1) Don't know how but all ringtones were named like that Ring-Standard .wma
They has a space befor extencion..that's why they coudn't be seen in Ringtone selection(
Just Copy new ringtone or rename these, if you like it
2) If you see that Commmanager doesn't show icons correctly, just reinstall RegFix.cab in windows folder
3) Volume of incoming call is quite...working for solution

Really does look quite promising! I prefer vanilla rom's over most others since I usually do not need most of the other included apps like ptab/scenarios/mchat/... since I want to use my own.

I would test this even with bugs ..... I have the issue with the most beautiful I can't download nothing or view txt docs or save anything. it says : this device is restricted from downloading this file type...
please if anyone knows a fix then post it here. theres a fix but I can't view the txt doc. I posted on there also. and maybe if we update to this new rom it might accour. its something todo with the polocies... I thought that underground edition worked well with me.... oh and don't forget to include internet calling.... please add a good wifi app or include some top apps. like spb plus and battery status and resco explorer I can d/l the keyboard on resco update . also add a game or 2 spb brain evolution is cool.... I have s/n for all these. oh and if anyone can think or any cool stuff to add please do... only stuff that makes a difference. is there any cool features going to be added like more options for voice command. or sound effects for all different stuff like startup sounds or when dialing numbers it says the number you pressed... I could go on and on.... oh and goodluck to the rom... pm me if u like anyone.

You will not find a more vanilla kitchen than this, There are NO OEMAPPS (besides DeviceInfo, Backlight,etc)
No Camera, No MMS,etc.
I felt this would be better for a kitchen since you can add EXACTLY what you want.
You must leave OEMDrivers contents as it is, unfortunately due to lack of space in the memorymap
I had to convert all modules to files since many were too large and overlapped important OS files.
As I said before I might take a second look at this soon.

Now, if we keep getting these type of releases, we need to get unified packages. Things like stripped down camera and such without all the extra BS. Packages that will work on all kitchens and releases.

I'm not sure you actually understand how/what goes into a ROM and why you can only alter certain parts.
Without 15341/2 components you would have:
No Kernel (The elf kernel is close, but not close enough)
No Drivers
You cannot just swap BSP components between builds without alot of problems.
If you actually look at .318, .968 and .1413 for Wizard, They share EXACTLY the same Drivers (Maybe some have been rebased, but the code is still identical).
I do not see what you are trying to achieve by creating some (even more so) mongrel build.

i will try to fix it, but the problem with the same base rom which you used, if you just rebuild the same things with another base rom will fix many of 15342 issues.

The office apps I see, the missed calls, that your phone, not mine. As for htc home, I cant find any ofthe files or reg keys in this VANILLA for it. Please provide more information rather than just trying to post an issue that we have no info as to where to look.

this thing duplicate many times, so i think many know that.
i can't know where is exactly the issue, but if this thing on the same base rom, you will never solve it.
i will try to explain more with my experiments with all base roms
why is there so few program memory if anything is installed???
This (I would imagine) is due to the fact all drivers are loaded into memory instead of into their allocated memory map - This is an ongoing problem that can and will be sorted, it just requires a bit of time.

Ok, so i was able to build a few apps into this, the only issue I have now is the Camera 3.00 from the package i used to build my Jaguar2 build gets an error that its not signed, anyone remember how to fix that?
The not signed error is the same as "you are missing files" error.
I updated SecurityOff when I released this to disable ALL requirements for signining,etc so you are simply missing a file
v1.0 Sleuth is a bigstorage ROM based on the original HTC TyTN II build. I haven't found a lot to change in this already excellent base ROM so for the most part, it's identical to the original. What I did do was cook in known fixes along with popular reghacks:

How to Install
Make sure you have hardspl installed before upgrading to v1.0 Sleuth. Hardspl for Kaiser can be found here. Read pof's instructions carefully before attempting to flash hardspl.
Download and execute the update. It will bring up KaiserCustomRUU which will flash the TyTN II splash along with v1.0 Sleuth. Your Radio ROM will remain untouched.
After the reboot, go through the initial configuration setup. Afterwards, let the HTC customization run!
When customization completes, your Kaiser will be reset. After it reboots, let the Connection Setup wizard detect and install your network settings
Tilt owners, install additional cabs:

Recommended: disable the hidden proxy by installing this cab (if necessary, you can restore the hidden proxy with this cab)

VisualGPSce is a great utility to see the status of your GPS. Choose COM4 as your GPS device.
Internet Calling adds VoIP to v1.0 Sleuth. My optimized ipdialplan.xml (US 7 digit dialing, areacode set to 262) is included. This version will also connect over your Kaiser's 3G data connection. The only known issue is that Internet calling uses the rear speaker instead of the headset speaker on a Kaiser. I'm looking at this issue currently since the Kaiser HSUPA capability eliminates the one-way audio issue over 3G that has plagued other devices. note: to activate, be sure to reset your Kaiser after installing this cab
Turbo Mode is a series of reghacks designed to speed up GDI/file system access for this ROM by increasing cache sizes. The difference is really quite noticeable. Disadvantage is more memory used. note: to activate, be sure to reset your Kaiser after installing this cab.
Release Notes
If you are running the latest AT&T AKU 0.4.4 ROM with radio v1.27.14.09 then you will need to downgrade your radio before installing v1.0 Sleuth or you will loose sound when making/receiving phone calls.

As stated, this is essentially the HTC rom with bugfixes. I really like this rom btw, don't feel anything needs to be removed and have not built another clean version since, quite obviously, one already exists.

Btw: the titlebar clock is enabled on this ROM b/c I don't normally use the htc home today screen plugin. It's nice eye candy for sure, but for me it uses too much screen real estate. With the clock/single line date, you have maximum todayscreen real estate for other plugins.

My Kaiser ROM kitchen is not fully functional yet. I don't use packages and my kitchen is designed around Tadzio's imgfs tools. Unfortunately, there's still an issue with nbmerge for Kaiser that prevents me from adding new files directly to the dump directory.
November 13th edit: the problem ended up being with my kitchen, not tadzio's nbmerge for Kaiser. His tools are working flawlessly as always. Thanks tadzio, its guys like you that make xda-developers what it is

If Install this on a brand new orange TyTNII then it'll remove all the crappy orange stuff and not brick my phone? Theres nothing else I need to do first?

First, you must install hardspl. After that, according to this thread you will be able to flash v1.0 Sleuth & remove Orange branding. I don't change the radio code at all.
Just the sort of ROM im after.

this rom has no sound. i saw a call came in and the phone didn't ring, then i tried an outgoing call; still didn't hear anything.
That's because you may have upgraded your radio to the latest AT&T version which requires a special RIL to work. Downgrade your radio to fix this. I highly recommend the one that's listed in my signature (v1.27.12.11).
If not that, check your default phone volume setting (tap speaker icon on Today screen titlebar). Is the right slider all the way down?

I hope that you will include the propper TMO USA settings for conectivity in the US... because the people abroad (Like UK) haven't been able to do it.
Also, In one of Faria's extended Roms there is a file XFARIA SETTINGS. it fixex the battery drain issues. the latest beta battery status (with the clock) also adresses some battery issues as it alows the CPU to have variable speeds. Both of these programs take very little space, but the benefit is that I can have my MDA run for two days of regular use as opposed to about 5 hours.

Just flashed. I did it from bootloader mode, cause 2 times didnt start regulary way.
Free ram: 30.91 MB after first boot. 2nd time was 31.7 MB , after 10 min is now 31.60 MB. pda was in standby mode
Free storage: 39.42 MB
Wifi works, scrolling works,camera also.Boot time is also good = 40 sec.I like new font. Its a little small, bu i like it so.
Good rom.I will update report if necesary.

A 40-sec boot time is a bit long though... mine does in 30.2secs. Will look into it
This is great rom. Fast and stable. Using it now for couple of hours and its workin like it should. Interesting is, that there are no replies about this rom. Nobody else has try it out??

I have not downloaded yet. I read that you changed the system font, how to change it back . I prefer the original font, because all the hungarian characters are included.
Been using this rom for a couple of hours now and it's fantastic. It's fast and stable too, what more could you ask for There was just one small issue that I encountered, the camera button on the right doesn't seem to be working. I'm guessing its something to do with the shortcut. Other than that, no problems whatsoever. Good job Merlin and thanks for this great rom.
Yeah. Shortcut doesnt work for camera. I wrote in my 1st post in this topic about htc camera album, not camera app. Was my mistake. U have submenu Buttons in Settings, where u can change shortcuts and for camera but is there application called Mobile camera.
Altough great release. I tried all roms for g4 and octaviois, khanx and yours are the best for my needs and demands. Thanks again

Just tested your ROM, been using it for 2 days now.
My findings:
- Battery lasts as much as it did on my WM5.
- Screen refreshes faster than WM5 too.
- The funky scrooling + x/ok button can be fixed with the cab I provided for my own rom (you are free to use it).
- Its very clean, but not clean enough for my taste. I've tested most of the rom, and it works as it should, wifi, bluetooth, beam.
- The looks is a misture of Touch (dialpad + comm manager) with the standard look of Windows Mobile...
All in all, a good job on porting it to our devices.

Intro:
This is the third release of SNN. There have been a couple of fixes from the 2.0 version of this ROM. I've tested this ROM for about a week, it's stable for the most part. On a side note, I do not use bluetooth, so I can not say whether or not the bluetooth bugs have been fixed. I am satified with this release and may wait until a new build comes along before releasing another version of this series. I strongly recommend giving this ROM a try if you liked version 2.0 or even if you haven't tried it. Alot of touch applications have found there way onto this ROM. As always, feedback is highly recommended.

About running "slow".
For those that are having issues with my rom running slow, can you please describe by what you mean by "slow". I know that the inital boot of this rom is slow due to the fact that network wizard tries to configure your network settings and there is a pop up for S2U2. After the initial boot and once your network is configured, the rom shouldn't be running "slow". I've tested this rom for about a week on my device before releasing it and other than the initial boot/setup I haven't had any speed issues or it being "slow". So if you can give me an update on your device or if it is still slow please respond. thanks.

Most cooks, myself included, exclude the cube for the simple fact it takes up to much program memory. We only have so much available with the wizard and try to maximize it's function by leaving it off.

what's "TouchFlo Scrolling without Cube"? what it can be tested/tried on in this rom? or you have to have the cube to see it?
The general speed of the rom after setup is slow. the device hangs alot, launching programs tend to stall same from closing them.
pressing "x" doesnt close apps but just minimizes.
internet explorer stalls when loading pages and becomes un responsive.
These are the problems Ive come across so far but otherwise a lovely lookin rom....
Nice one , i liked it!!! No trouble with BT, Wifi ans beam. More color options too.

have you tried a hard reset after installing the rom? at times there are some trash from the previous rom that we have used that makes our newly installed rom acts strange
after 5 long hoouuurrs of waiting I can finally install the rom... will tell if bleep's experience is the same as mine
hopefully this beats the last version newbie...
This Rom is fantastic except, this is very important to some, In active Sync, there is no option to sync your PC with Bluetooth, only IRDA which does not work. you can send and recieve files via Bluetooth. Just cannot sync with Bluetooth. Why is notepad missing?

Downloading right now. I use vista so i havent been able to do roms on the fly have wait till i get home. Oh i still didnt see time sync :-(. Also i hope the sync with outlook and live messenger is sorted out

well i'm gonna save you the hastle, i didn't make any adjustments as far as changing .dll's to correct any problems from my previous release. I just cleaned up, more or less, icons and substituted some apps. I don't want you to go through the hastle of reconfiguring your phone for nothing.
