New ROM: RUU-Prophet-AKU2.2-2.20-2.47.21-Jester-b1.exe

Hi,
I've created another ROM for the Prophet
This is based from the new S200 Qtek WWE ROM (thx mwiberg)
This is a very clean ROM, only the standard stuff is included, plus some patches in the ExtRom.
This ROM will upgrade your SPL to 2.20.000
This ROM will upgrade your Radio to 02.47.21
This ROM contains the Qtek S200 AKU 2.2 OS (2.20.7.34 WWE)
This ROM contains my own stripped version of the Qtek ExtRom (2.20.7.114)
This ROM has a changed CID (now 11111111) (This needs testing on G4)
This ROM has a standard page pool of 12MB

Just download, run the file and after the upgrade is done, hard reset your Prophet (hold down both the camera and comm manager buttons on the side while pressing the reset button, hold the two buttons untill the screen comes up, then press the left green phone button)

lvsw has the AKU 2.3 ROM (base pdamobiz rom but stripped the "junk" )
This ROM is AKU 2.2 (basicly the official shipped version but the qtek custo stuff taken out of the ExtRom)
Try both, and pick the one you like, my other beta ROM also has AKU 2.3 however I'm still working on cleaning out the ROM.

Thanx Jesterz... I have read the site you gave before. It just lists the different AKUs. What I meant was: the difference between the OS, not only the AKUs.
There are diff AKUs for the 2.15.13.27 ROMs. I am currently using PDAMobiz 2.15.13.27 (AKU 2.3). My phone was shipped with the 2.15.13.27 (AKU 1.0? can't remember) The official Dopod ROM update is 2.15.13.27 (AKU2.15 - I think).
This S200 is OS 2.20.7.34 WWE (AKU 2.2). So, we got a lower AKU, but a higher OS.
BTW Jesterz, is this ROM the same as mwiberg's @ http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=283245? The difference being you have taken out the qtek stuff out of extrom?

One question about this relase. The Beam/IR button is missing in Comm Manager, am I right? So I'll have to go to settings and uncheck the beam option.
Is there a way to put it back into Comm Manager? thanks much.

PLEASE NOTE BEFORE YOU STARTING POSTING EVERYWHERE
Kill the existing (running) comm manager before running the updated cab and you will be fine. You can't update a running manager. OTHERWISE YOU WILL GET ERROR MESSAGE

i think ce version is different, but there were fixes..

interesting - can't upgrade to this ROM. Get an error (260) after the update begins. I'm going from the previous version of the same rom (1.57.502.1) to this one. The phone's screen says "Security Unlocked" and that's it.

Can anyone extract the extended rom from this rom build? I am interested in some of the programs customed for AT&T such as XM radio or video on demnd. Perhaps one can modify their ssettings to match those of Rogers in Canada in order to use them on their HSDPA network. Thoughts?

have u tried custel's cingular apps? i use the cab on many htc devices and even seems to work on tmobile so dont c why it wouldnt wk on rogers.

Does Wmstorage work with this rom
I can't get wmstorage to work on original rom, I'm thinking of switching to this rom to try if wmstorage works. Can anyone save me the trouble and tell me if it works?

i dont have mine yet, but can agree that the 400mhz proc in the hermes was quite disappointing...

Glad to see you're getting a kaiser shogunmark. It gives me hope that there might be a way to get PTT going on an unofficial ROM as was done with the Hermes, which I understand you helped make possible?

oh...ok.... so this is why peoples looking for an unlocker to make the deivce Super CID... once it is, i can flash any ROM with no problems. am i correct?

NEW rom from HK Htc website with new radio 1.27.15.32R2 and possible some fixes!!

Forget the 3d acceleration that's probably never going to come. Probably aafter some serious threats, Htc will release better video playing support, drawing and eventually only 2d. Testing it, and I can say the radio is pretty good until now.

Thanx. Its a keeper as it has one bar plus at the signal, camera is good. Also this rom, or is it just me, has a smaller slowdown when touching the screen. It still is there, but less (probably my imagination). Anyway i now have the radio and i can flash another rom to see if it works (let's say duttys) . Cheers

How does this version compare to EU versions?

I have had this rom on my TyTn II since I got it over a month ago. It is very stable and just awsome compared to some of my other friends with different roms. enjoy it.

any further thoughts on speed/stability/reliability?

im downloading radio to flash now.. has anyone else flashed this yet? Do we know if this requires the new audio drivers that was used with the later ATT radio? If no one answers this i should be able to soon..

OK this does NOT use the same drivers as the ATT radio 1.27.14.09. When i flashed this radio over that one i get the no audio and never ending vibrate(im sure my wife would appreciate the upgrade)...

I flashed a rom that uses the older drivers and it works with those..

I flashed this to my phone and I can only really tell two differences:
My recption was shot to hell. I now am stuck at one or two bars. Before the flash I had a constant four bars present in my current location.
Touchscreen lag has been reduced. Such as scrolling through the contact list and games that use the touchscreen for input. Screen draw is still slow (ie scrolling though Programs or Settings is still choppy.)
Other than that there's not much news in there. No new (versions of the)apps, old CE-build etc.

Hey guys who did the radio only upgrade. Check your gps and see if you can get a lock. GPS Test on mine never could get past looking for gps device.

How do you see the date of the rom ?

Look at Laurentius26's post up there, number 14. It has the date. It should be in Device Information in settings... or in about... can't remember which.

So far its really good with working flashdisk and wifi and no problems with sat nav 4hr trip too.. only flaw no 3g icon. stable fast and a keeper, Sorry typing with 1 hand my son in other, Well worth it fellas give it a go...

Hi..Ranju's 7.4 was awesome and worked fine. But i am not sure what went wrong when it came for speed and stability with my O2 Exec. This is a mod version of Ranju's rom and so definitely you can expect all bugs and con's fixed up. The rom is not loaded with unwanted stuff. Comparing both i can rate Ranju 7.4 as 4/5 and this PDAviet as 4.5/5
But trust me after installing 7 roms i found only this well suited for my pda.
Radio 1.15.00 was the radio installed in PhamQuangs universal. You can always upgrade your radio to 1.18.00(downloading from Xda-developers ftp).

Radio 1.15.00 was the radio installed in PhamQuangs universal. You can always upgrade your radio to 1.18.00(downloading from Xda-developers ftp).

Yes, it seems icredible, but WPA-TKIP in this ROM still requires that old activation-deactivation-reactivation trick.
Besides, neither of the ROMs with build 19202 released so far, i.e. PDAVIET's and Frank's, have a flash disk included, for what I'm performing fast tests on the newer ROMs and keep returning to Ranju's v7.4 unmatchable one within hours.
Just my 2 cents...

Hello again. Like the title said, after my latest rom flash Im not able to send or recieve any txt. In another post that I made, I said that I couldnt remember what rom was the one that Im using right now but somebody told me to check under <Device Information> to see what I have. Well Im gonna post here what <Device Information> says and hopefully you guys can figure out what rom I have and be able to help me...

I'm not sure who rom that is since we do not have any snap shots of the home screen.
All my roms have the same CE and Build, so it's not mine.
Your network stuff will not work until you run network wizard.
/setting/connections/network wizard.

That sucks if you network wizard is not even on there.
Well, it looks like it's time for download another rom, one that will work for you.

I guess is time for me to try another rom like you said. Damm, this time I'll write which roms is the one that im flashing in a Post-it not so I wont forget.

I Found It!!!
alright. So while looking in my computer for the files to flash a new roms into my wing, I finally found which rom is the one that I have installed at the moment. It is the "Touch-IT Diamond p4350 20226" Any help on why the network wizard wont run??? or why I cant send or recieve txt
