I had the same problem (device won't turn on when pressing camera+soft reset), what I did is remove the storage card, then tried again (soft-reset+camera) and boot loader screen appeared
Maybe that will work for you

Downgrade to another version and then try again!
Just had same nasty esperience about an hour ago. Active syc not working ect.
Resolved by:
pressing together photo and on buttoms then reset underneath; that is both upper buttons on each side at the same time then reset underneath.
This takes you into the bootload mode. Active syc must be on then flush with an original Rom (NOT DOS!)
Forgot! in bootload mode, you screen will be red-green ect.
Just read this from another trend. The important thing is to get into bootload mode.

Start your device in bootloader mode (hold the comm manager button for about 5 secs while pressing the reset) and then run the upgrade again.
While in bootloader the screen will show three colours. Once in bootloader the device will connect to the PC.

this guy is right, i did the same but i had to find an original rom for my device with NO VENDOR ID REQUEST, i already found a loader in french... i changed the attacheck nk.nbf file with the english one.. and loaded it to my Phone and it worked fine

I have a Jamin Running WM6 OS 4.0.0.4. I tried to change the OS but somehow it got corrupted. Now its going to the blue screen showing

and then it halts. I habe tried everything to take it into Bootloader mode but its not going to the Bootloader mode. I connected it to the charger, pressed the Camera Button, soft reset it holding the camera button but its not going anywhere, it just goes blank then i have to take out the battery and put it again. Maximum it goes to the black screen with white test asking just to format. I want to take it to the Bootloader colored screen so that i can connect it to USB and install the OS again. I have tried everything but its not going to bootloader colored screen. Please help.
I attempted to upgrade my Orange SPV M500 (HTC Magician).
The tool failed, and did not install anything.
However, my phone has remained stuck on the "Bootloader", displaying a white screen with "serial" if it's not plugged into the Pc, or "USB" when it is.
I've tried different reset techniques, having the battery out for long periods.
My phone booted up once, then silly me I tried the same tool again, and am back stuck!!
I bet it's something simple to press to get it to boot normal - but I just can't see it.
Please help. I know I'm in the right place to ask.

Bootloader
you can try camera + record + reset button to get it out off boot loader mode
if it doesn't work you have to flash it
If this doesn't work, just download the correct rom, and run the update program, this will hopefully sort the problem out if pressing the buttons doesn't work.

hi i was trying to remove a simlock on an imate jamin, and wrongly i used the anternaunlocker. it flash the radio out form my jamin and put a modifed radio file on it and when i try to restore it, it stuck in the middle and when i turn it of and try to turn it on again there is notting only a black screen no indecater that the jaminin is working? i did take a backup .nb file. can anyone help me to recover the jamin please
Are you able to enter bootloader?
If yes, flash RUU_Prophet_220734_2207114_024721_NVID when in bootloader.
After that you should be able to boot your prophet and flash the backup file using pdocwrite.

keeping the camera button pressed insert stylus into the hole next to the usb connector on the device. remove the style but keep the camera button pressed til you se the tri color of the bootloader. then you can flash RUU_Prophet_220734_2207114_024721_NVID

Hello,
I have the following problem:
When my Kaiser is slow - I restart it by the stylus.
Sometimes it restarts in bootloader mode and stuck in it.
After that everytime I restart, it restarts in bootloader mode.
I have to search for an XP PC, to can use MTTY:
set 14 0
task 8
After that it starts its OS.
Do you have an solution ?

Might be caused by bad flash. Try reflash ur shipped stock ROM.
Try reflashing and make sure you dont touch the camera button when soft reseting this will restart the phone in bootloader mode.
