Don't know, I can download, and select either internal memory or SD card, but then on File Transfer, I have "resume" and when i push it, it stays 2 sec on green dot, then return to red (stop) ....
I think the ports for downloading are closed, but i use wifi, and the computer donwload without problem.

Anyone got any ideas why when i try to copy things to my SD card on the phone via active sync they disappear?
I keep transferring a file (About 100mb) and it fails at the last second but has "consumed" the amount of memory and I cannot find it anywhere.
Not only that everything i transfer has been failing and nothing installs from the memory card!?
Its really odd and don't know what is causing it, and how do i format it?
I have the HTC XDA Orbit, so think co-pilot installation file is there, but not really important to me since it sucks.
Oh - And when i try to install WM6.1 it starts, connects, everything seems to be fine, then vista kicks me shouting no driver (USB Controller I think!?) the phone gets RGB screen and a reboot is required.
I wanna through it out the window!
Sounds like a corrupted card. Plug the card directly into your computer using a memory card reader and run scandisk/chkdsk on it.
Starting today, for some reason when I try to view pictures stored on my sd card, all I can see is a white exclamation mark and the pics will not display..... anyone have any ideas on this? Thanks
Haven't seen this but try to remove your sdcard and re-insert it back in. Open your pictures from My Computer and right click > Properties, check to see if it's protected or not. If it is then remove the protection.
I had this problem using SnapPhoto before it went to a paid version.
I don't have the problem with SnapPhoto Pro anymore.
The dev said in his FAQ that having your sdcard formatted as FAT can cause issues.
If you don't have it formatted FAT32, I'd do that and see if it happens anymore.
Unfortunately, I was never able to recover those lost pictures. Luckily, it only corrupted a few, not all of my pictures.
I would try what jordon said as far as removing and re-inserting your sdcard. Also connect it to the computer and see if you can open those files.
If not, you can try a file recovery program that works with flash memory.
This is an open source (free) program. I haven't used it myself so don't shoot the messenger if it doesn't work.

Hi you all
I've got a problem each time i want to copy a mp3 file to "storage card".
At the end of copying, i've got a message telling me " maybe your phone want be able to use this file..." yes or ignore...
Of course, if i try to copy to the SD card, outside the phone, there is no problem.
Any idea ?
It's me again
I just forgot to explain that the problem is only for mp3 files.
If i rename a "mp3" files as a "mp32" files, the problem disapears !
Thank you all, i must be the only one having this problem...
I feel so alone.
Have you tried to copy when connected as a hard disk?
When I try to copy files through Pocket Controller, I get an error that the file is in use. I've never tried renaming it but I suspect that your's is a similar issue.
Connect as a hard disk (when USB to PC connection menu pops up, select hard disk, do not set as permanent connection though) and the error should go away.
Hey,
I have the HD2 and a San Disk 8GB SD Card. Today, I restarted my phone, and then when over to the gallery to view my pictures... All of the pictures load and I can scroll through them, however, after 6 or so seconds they all disappear and the phone says "No photos availible, Press to launch camera".
If I leave it for a period of time, they re appear again, then a few seconds later dissappear. If I try clicking on one of the images to view it full size it says "unable to open photo".
So the phone is saying there is no SD card in it, but sometimes it will detect its there.
Also, if I plug it into my SD card reader, it can see everything there, but I cant copy the files to my PC, it just says "calculating time".
Any suggestions?

I mainly use my tf300 to read comics. These are all small files. Like 10-25mb. When I transfer them with the USB cord they are fine. When I transfer them over wifi they are incomplete. 'Perfect Viewer' can usually read them when they transfered over, but they are missing pages or have pages that are corrupted and can't get passed it. This also seems to happen when I torrrent these files. I often have to tell the bittorrent client to "recheck" and when it does it goes from 100% done to like 97%(not always the same number) and then finishes the download. Sometimes I have to have it recheck several times before it really is 100%.
I thought it might be the SD card so I started having it download to the internal. Same results. Any one have any clue on why it does this? Is it because the files are so small? Is there a fix? I've tried 4 different file explorers with network capabilities. I reformated my SD card. I did a factory reset. Unless I plug it in manually via USB they are nearly 100% of the time corrupted. I'd appreciate any help on this. I just can't figure out whats going on.
