I have an easy upgrade question for people who might know,
I acquired a Qtek S200,
IPL 1.07
SPL 2.15
GSM 2.20.21
OS 2.15.13.27
i have downloaded the RUU_Prophet_220734_2207114_024721_QtekWWE_Ship.exe from the qtek website,
currently its running on a Dopod ROM i think,
I'm wanting to upgrade to the original Qtek ROM, but not sure about the IPL or the SPL, do i need to upgrade that first or will the ROM upgrade work with the existing IPL/SPL, or will the ROM upgrade the IPL/SPL as well?
any comments would be greatly appreciated

I was recently upgrading my s200 g3 to w6 and I wanted also to upgrade IPL/SPL and Radio roms. On the forum I found for IPL and radio but nothing for SPL : did I missed something ? I am today with SPL 2.09 and I would like to get the last one with is I think 2.20

i was just gonna make a thread about this.. i've just upgraded my IPL to 2.20 but i can't find the SPL
the only place i can find the SPL 2.20 ROM is with jester-r1 rom..
can anyone provide the upgrade for just the SPL ?
Could anybody say where to find SPL 2.20 ?

the spl was taken from a qtek release:

do it on your own risk and g4 for g4 and g3 for g3
not my fault if you brick your device and you can brick your device very easy if you play with the spl...hf

why need to upgrade IPL and SPL?
is there any solution if i have 3.08?
yes ... you can cid unlock via www.imei-check.co.uk and they give you a special unlocker ... they write a 2.13 SPL ... this is in the moment the ONLY WAY!!!
no free solution!!!

downgrading the spl for G3's - there IS a free solution (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=319636). All respect to the guys at imei-check.co.uk (for whatever they are doing), but let's STOP !!! doing free publicity for payed services. Even if we ARE employed by them

I upgraded my Rom to 2.03 wwe.My Radio version is 1.12.
Do I really need my radio to 1.13 or I should leave it?
What is new in 1.13?

I don't really know. I upgraded my radio to 1.13 at the time i upgraded to t-mobile rom 1.13 (the first owner sold me this baby with a portuguese i-mate 1.12 rom yuck ).
it's very stable on gprs so i wont really ever bother downgrading ahah
just upgraded yesterday to taxist rom and it's very nice, let's see what the future holds

I have seen radio version 03.07.90 floating around in the forum and as i can see this is the latest version of radio rom. so if any one can guide me for this if i can use this R rom in my wizard

no. the radio roms have to be wizard specific... that one isn't unless im really out of the loop. if you're running 2.47.11, i would try 2.19 or 2.71...
That is a radio for an Artemis, not compatable with a Wizard.
Hi out there! I have to downgrade my Prophet to the original German O2 WM5 XDA NeoROM(xdaneo-update.exe) for service shippment. I was wondering about the IPL number I got after HardSPL and flashing this ROM. As I was searching around the forum everyone seems to have the IPL/SPL 2.15.0001 (G4) with the original shipped ROM. But I still have the IPL 2.20? Is this correct (maybe O2 udated the ROM to ISP 2.20)? Or does this number remain from the previous WM6 (Shadow/AKU2.2/GSM 2.69.21). If so - how can I change the IPL to 2.15.0001?

If your phone is CID Unlocked you can cook every rom you want easely.
