Hello everybody,
Last evening, I opened my Qtek 8310 and my SPV C600.
Instead the keyboard, there is absolutely no difference between the two mainboards... so does someone knows where is the Wifi chip on the 8310 ??
(I wanted perhaps to put the mainboard 8310 in the C600, which is smaller...)
Thx

Hi mate,
The Wifi chip is located under the LCD, you'll find another metal lid there and if you pull that off you can see the chip.
On the C600 you have just the BGA solder points in that spot and no chip...

CT
I changed the PBA of VDA 1240 (8310, incl. WIFI) and O2 XDA phone (8300 in the house of an 8200). So now I have the sleek case of the 8200 (Robbie) with the full 8310 functionality - perfect
You just need to take care about the various different foam and rubber distance pieces of the two devices in the keyboard area - otherwise the PBA is mechanically identical.
Anyone can say if it is possible?
No, I have sp3i and tornado.
Does anyone have a Qtek 2020i or a Imate PDA2 still?
Am looking to buy them.

Me too, I am also looking to purchase any working Qtek 2020i or an iMate PDA2 (I'm not too concerned with their physical appearance - scratches in the case, warn paint, etc. is okay - just as long as the screen is undamaged and the unit operates correctly. I use the Qtek 2020i (or the iMate PDA2) as a display computer for a piece of battery operated equipment.
Cheers
