Every time i try to put an iMate Jam rom on my MDA Compact i get an error which says I have to get the one from my own vendor (T-Mobile). Is there any way i can put an iMate rom on it?
Or an hacked rom?

I was in the middle of a rom upgrade with my magician and the battery has died now after trying to reupgrade with the original imate rom, it gives me a country code error. When I use get device data and view the devicedata.txt file all I get is 2 little squares where there was the operator ID. How can I reinstall the original rom from Imate and have it overwrite the operator ID on the device so I will except the upgrade. I have tried this via SD and with the original upgrade but with no luck. Help is really need please. I know this can be done I just aint sure how to go about doing it. It happen to be with my Qtek 2020 when upgrading to the 2.20 CHS version it changed from Qtek to o2.
I want to downgrade my MDA Compact to the original T-Mobile ROM (I now have the imate 1.06). I prepared a sd-card using ntrw (2.0) en de T-Mobile ROM). But when I hardreset my MDA Compact (Camera+Power+Soft reset) the sd-card doesn't start!
I tried 3 different cards.
Anyone who can help me?

I'm new to this board and I read nearly all threads about MDA. I bought my T Mobile MDA Compact 2 weeks ago from Germany. Yesterday while I was trying to change its language to English its locked. I installed Windows 2003 SE then device restarted but not open anymore. Now I can not open it. When I try to open it on the top of the screen it writes "Seial" and at tthe bottom it writes "1.00 Version". What should I do? I need immediate assistant; can anybody help me to make my MDA Compact working again?

I am new on this forum and also I am amateur as concern HTC PDA.
I have MDA Compact from ERA (Polish telecom.).
Yesterday I have upgarded ROM to BS 1.13, radio 1.11 (thanks to a few articles on this forum).
Today I have tried to upgrade radio to 1.13. I have used file MagicianRadio_1.13.00_maupgrade.zip.
After this operation PDA is starting to "bootloader" all the time.
I have tried to install back original ROM and BS ROM but I see on the screen following message:
Sections=1
Updating not allow
What I can do to have my PDA working back?

after i read a lot here i m not sure ift its possible at the end.I solved my Problem with the bootloader stuck.thx again.I need to send my device to O2 for garuantee repair.Therfore i wanted to install the latest O2 Rom on my G4.
I cant install it cuz it tells only update-> so 3 ways
1.downgrade ipl/spl doesnt seems to work
also dangerous
2 i only flashed the os with a tool without spl/ipl but loading pic still qtek and no o2 extended rom installed...
3unlocking the cid for G4 doesnt work 2 with lokiwiz3.a
HAve you guys any idea how i can restore my garuantee?i need to make my G4 looking untouched...

hey i have a question, i have a tmobile mda that wont update past wm5 i have tried a whole bunch of diff roms and it still stays at wm5, my old mda worked with every rom until it got stolen now i got another one and i updated it to wm5 and now i cant update it to any other rom the button rom is supposed to wm 2003 and it stays wm5
is there any way someone can give me a good working wm6.5 rom please i need this.
