hello, im new to the forum.
i have a 02 xda mini. I want to upgrade the software due to problems. i have done the general download from htc software but i want to upgrade it.
What is the best software to put on it? It is unlocked and i have cingular, i updated it with the 8125 software because i couldnt find anything else till i found this forum.

Hi there, ive looked through all the different forums and am confused! (newbie type confused :S). I have an ) O2 Mini Xda S and it is currently running WM5. If anyone can help, please can i request two ROM file downloads.
1. The original ROM file that is currently on the phone incase i flash and do not like and
2. A WM6 ROM upgrade file and if possible WM6 proffesonal.
I would really like WM6 proffesional but WM6 (the origianl one) would be brilliant. It boots up on G4 (2.xx.000x) and this is what im most confused about, wheter the upgrade is for G3 or G4. please someone help!!! Also ive heard the faria upgrade is good but not sure whether to go down that route or not.

1. get the original ROM from your carrier. for instance, you can download the TMO version from their website.
2. read stickies before posting and follow this:

3. pick any of the many WM6 roms here and flash.
4. since you have a G4, make sure you read the part about G4 flashing in the above thread.
thanks for that, i have had a look on O2's site but they do not have any original ROMs or anything at all for my mini xda. I dont know why because its a popular phone as far as i am aware :S

The HTC has no update to WM 6.1
Alternatively, you can upgrade to version 6.1 using customized ROMs and you can find some here in xda

Can someone link me to the latest proper T-mobile UK rom please? So I can restore it all back to stock.
I need to send phone in for repair, lost where I dumped my rom. I can only find on the wicki/on here links to NL T-Mobile roms.
T-Mobile site has nothing for the mdaIII (kaiser).

Paradoox - it might be, thankyou. But it is listed as OS Only Big Storage - I presume this isn't how T-mobile shipped my Kaiser. The other one DaveShaw is listed as OS only so I presume it won't put my radio/splash back etc, like the one above.
Are either any use do you think if I want to put my Kaiser back exactly as it was out the box?

iv flashed the reconstructed rom iv refered to before, and it works fine, the original tmobile splash screen is here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=374190 (post 5). im supposing you know how to flash it
in regards to the original radio, i honestly cant remember what it was. check out the kaiser ultimate radio thread, if i find out, il let you know.

p.s the rom is reconstructed but as far as im aware its exactly the same as a normal release rom, its just someone has taken the tmobile uk operating system end product from a kaiser and made it into a rom as it has not been officially released. it flashes in exactly the same way as you'd flash anything else.
i have sent mine back one with a duttys rom on it, the technical support are that stupid they probably dont even know that flashing software on the device is even possible
i would say as long as u have the tmobile splash rom on it and 6.0, they wont even know the difference

I would like to update my Kaiser, but I had no experience to do this. I do it the first time.
Beforehand I found from Martie on xda a German ROM. And now the problems start for me.
I dont know how I do the update. I dont know what is a Radio or what build I must take. I dont know for what is this Radio, what is the Soft- or HardSPL???
Can anyone help a Windows Mobile Noob to update his Kaiser!!!!
