Disable LEDs - HTC Vox

I hate blinking LEDs a lot.
Anyone know how to disable them on the S710?

thanks!
that's a start. It seems to successfully disable the GSM blinker.
However, WIFI and Bluetooth ones still go. Any other tips out there?

Disable the bluetooth light

Is there a reg hack to turn off the blue bluetooth light? I hate having 2 flashing lights on all the time (One blue and one green).
Thanks
I have installed Microsoft voice command 6.1 french and then the blue light turned off!
it is expensive to turn a light off but it works
(by the way if any body knows how to turn it one I'll be pleased to know...)

I will be please to be able to turn the green flashing light off too. I know that the flashing light indicates that the phone is on, but still annoying specially at night (please do not tell me to turn the TC upsidedown)
LOL, that's funny... Any way there has to be a way to turn them both off
There is a way. You know how to do a soft reset - you put a small thing in the reset hole.
If you want to disable the lights, do the same thing, but instead of putting a small thing in the reset hole, you put it on the light. You need to press really really hard... ;-)
However, there is no way to get them turned on again...

Thanks for that awsome fix...lol however, I would like a little less violent solution....
This could be done in some devices with Tweaks2k2 .NET (http://www.tweaks2k2.com/portal/staticpages/index.php?page=20050224182009983). I don't know if this could work for Polaris too.

No I have this program, tried this first. I doesn't work.
Anyone have an answer?
Try this
Try this one
It works great on my TC. It's written for the Kaiser but also works on the TC. I've turned off all my LED's except when I've missed a sms or call. It's in Dutch but the interface is pretty clear so I don't think you'll have any problem controlling it. If so let me know.
The only downside with this program is that you can't control the WLAN LED. If you turn off the Phone LED (green flickering) the WLAN LED also gets turned off. Another thing is that the orange LED doesn't light up anymore when you charge your device. Hopefully someone will write a similar program especially designed for the TC. But apart from that it's a neat little program.
Cheers.
Found a fix! This program is awsome. It is for the Tilt, but works great on my TC!
Thanks for this.
It seems to be written for the Kaiser and says that its freeware as it installs.
Seems to work fine on my Orbit2.
I've now turned off both my lights as default - they should illuminate if I miss a call / get mail etc.
I do some work with User Interfaces for avionics.
Cardinal rule - "flashing lights are an exception, not default mode of operation".
ALL flashing lights
Thanks for this, works a treat on my Touch Cruise / Orbit 2
Maybe this link deserves its own post... took a while to find it

Hmm! That explains why my BlueTooth LED stopped working - I recently installed M$ VC too... Weird.
Anyhow - while you've found a solution to turning off you LEDs, I thought I'd suggest another thing worth looking at for controlling them, for future reference - nueLED... It lets you redirect different LEDs. Still won't turn my BlueTooth LED back on though!

HTC Diamond + bluetooth headset wake/sleep problem

Hi @ll i just bought a samsung bluetooth headset for my diamond and i already have a problem with it, it seems to be on my diamond self
whenever i use the headsets controls to forward track/ skip etc it wakes up the phone, and thus also the touchscreen, in my pocket
quite irritating
is there a way to fix this?, is this a known issue and can i return my headset based on this flaw ?
or must i wait for HTC to make a fix of some sort :S
same problem!
I have the exact same problem and know a friend of mine does as well.
If someone could fix this incredibely annoying issue... that would be GREAT
sooooooo, someone? pleeeaaaaassssssssssssssse!
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=422871&highlight=sensorlock
it`s really a searchin` thing
sensor lock is fine and all, but this doesnt eliminate the problem that the display turns on and uses up the allready weak battery...
exactly.
And I don't want to be rotating my phone everytime I want to do something with it (tiny hands)... the thing will probably drop.
i "found"that igo navigator 8 has the same issue when minimised
i can deal with igo, because the safe mode setting disables touch screen
I've solved the problem. It's one key in the registry. But I'm not really sure which one, because I've changed a lot of them.
I think, it's this one:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\ControlPanel\Phone\sleep] change to "1"
after this change, the phone will stay sleep as usual
So does anybody have a fix for this yet?
ps. the regkey doesn't exist in my phone.

[Question] Application to control lights

Hi,
I wonder if there is an application that will allow me to control the light in my apartment through bluetooth or wifi? Also wonder if there is any hardware that applying this?
Would be nice to control the light through my PDA
If this solution is already available, please let me know.
The hardware, I can probably build myself, but i dont know anything about programming.

notification light? Any hacks?

So was wondering 1) what that light was called on the left side of the ear piece that lights up orange when charging, green when charged, and flashes green when you have a notification and 2) if there are any hacks to make it do different things...?
I tried searching for serivce light and notification light, but didnt come up with anything.
TIA
It would be called a power led or status led. You can change the notification settings but I don't know of anything else.
I was wondering the same thing. I am going to try nueled that used on my tilt a long time ago.
http://freewareppc.com/utilities/nueled.shtml
we'll see what happens.
I think it will work as that hack is supposed to work with any htc phone that uses AllLEDManager to control LEDs and our rhodiums do in fact use allLedManager. Im gonna give it a try as well. See what happens.
K it works... Unfortuneately, our LED on the phone near the ear piece is only green or orange from what I can see. For example, we dont have a bluetooth light that lights up when connected to bluetooth.
What I've been scouring XDA and the rest of the web for is how to turn the Wireless Network Status function of that LED on... I've searched & posted here and a couple of other forums with no luck. Really, that's the only thing I miss that my hTC Kaiser and most of my previous other devices had... ?
I hate having to wake my device up just to see if it (a) is even on (device is totally dark in standby), and (b) am I still in range for a signal *blinking green or solid red/orange*.
I've even gone through the registries of both my Rhodium and my Kaiser to see if there are any differences between the LED entries I could find... if anything, the Rhodium has a few entries in it that the Kaiser doesn't. *heh*
I have a TP2 with Verizon's 6.5 upgrade... nueLED didn't do squat for me... Anyone have any tips?

Disregard...nueLED doesn't work, but I figured how to change the settings in the registry.

Notification light on the hardware buttons of WP(Nokia L710)

Hi!
I really miss some kind of notifciation led on my lumia 710, so is it possible to create some modifications on the lumia to turn on the light of the buttons when there are unread msgs/ missed calls ?
Thank you for your help
Very cool idea for a hack, but the simple version is that while it's probably possible, it won't be easy. There's an API or controlling the notification light in CE, but WP7 already uses that on devices which have one (like my HD7). I suspect the button backlights are driver-specific things, and therefore probably require finding the correct driver to access, and the right IOCTL to send to it.
