Fin,
Thanks for your propmt reply and the advise.
Would the this change the setting from (900/1900) to UK settings
Matt
tri band phones like xdaII and xdaIIi and xdaIIs and XDA-mini
support 900/1800/1900
and automaticly change to the band that the operators are on
Rudegar,
How on XDA "T-mobile phone edition"?
if you have an original xda, there is a way to manually change the band. look here:

Might help if you told us who your carrier was
But yeah, as stated above, check the 2nd post of my XM6 thread as I have cabs and pointers to various cariers... If you find one I don't have, let me know and I'll update it.

suncom cab fiile
hey,
i have SunCom and I am constantly flashing new roms to my wizard. Is there a cab file that will automatically input the correct mms/internet settings so that I don't have to re-enter it time and time again? Also, if there is not a cab file in existence already, how do I make a cab file with those settings?

T mobile settings for xda 11i

New to site - UK based - apology if this is a repeat question.
Does anyone know the settings required to enable my unlocked from o2 xda 11i, which uses a T- mobile sim, to be connected to the internet.
Have tried all I know (limited) but can't get the connection to work and the T mobile site is unhelpful as it doen't cater for Xda as it's not one of their standard phones.
Just need to be able to collect emails from hotmail - due to sd card error settings wiped out and unrestorable.
Would appreciate any help on this - thanks

WM6 and TomTom One with DUN-Patch

Hi,
I am new here. Thanks for this forum!
I have a big problem with my new o2 xda comet and TomTom One to use the TomTom Plus services (weather, traffic) via bluetooth. TomTom does not support Windows Mobile 6 devices.
I know that Microsoft deleted the bluetoth DUN-service inside WM6. At why-did-we-remove-bluetooth-dun this is discussed. But in this forum exists a workaround at This is an All-in-One cab to install the DUN-service. I installed this patch.
Now my TomTom One can find (pair) the Xda Comet as a possible to use mobile phone.
The 2nd part of the installation fails:
After selecting the country (Germany), the ISP (o2 de), the mobile phone ("other", because not in list) the dial string (at+cgdcont=1,"IP","internet"' OK-AT-OK 'ATD*99#' CONNECT "") my TomTom One shows that it cannot connect wireless. I edited the \ppp\gprs-connect-chat file with a UNIX-like editor but nothing works.
Due to other forum postings the DUN-patch works well with other mobile phones.
After days of searching and changings for the right configuration I cannot find anything to solve this problem.
Do you have any ideas to connect the o2 Xda Comet with TomTom One to use the TomTom Plus services?
Thank you very much.
Hi,
after more and more searching I found no solution.
Due to this and the costs of the TomTom Plus services I decide to buy a 2nd SIM-cart from my provider. I will use the 2nd card in an old mobile phone only for bluetooth-DUN-data-transmissions.
Thank you Micro*oft for your excellent software.

SIM operator configuration

Hi all,
Has anyone got/seen about a universal version of the I-mate Configurator?
it's a great app that detects the SIM you have in and reconfigures the SMS, internet settings etc without the tedious searching of the internet.
it's great if you travel around and have lot's of local SIM's
I have tried copying it across but it doesn't work that easy.
Orange C600 / WM6.5
i-mate 8502
look and ye shall find
OK found it,yes I did search first
it's funny how many times you can search and still not find something,
Because i-mate called it a configurator I was misled in my search,
anyway for any one else it's called the Network Wizard from HTC
