No german WM6 roms?

Hi there,
I looked around some time in the forum and wiki searching a german WM6 rom. I found the overview over WM6 roms at http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=wizard_WM_6 but I didn't found any german rom. Are there no german WM6 roms, yet?

Schade, was für (deutsche) ROMs kann man denn aktuell empfehlen? Oder würdest du zu einem englischen ROM raten? Wenn ja, zu welchem für den Wizard?

i currently use the TNT 4.0 WM6 ROM on my (CID locked) Vodafone VPA Compact II - i think its the fastest & most stable. I dont like the official german ROMS.

do you know if it is possible to use an english rom with a german key layout? I have no problem with the english speech, on my job most correspondence is done in english, and I prefer to use english comments and english nomenclature naming variables in my coding projects. But I dislike the english key layout (except for coding, because of [] and {} etc.), so it would be absolutely ingenious to have a german key layout on a foreign rom.

yes, you can do this either by editing the registry or you just install "Hades german language pack" wich contains the german auto completion & keyboard layout.

You can change the settings with Total Commander
Change the setting \\\registry\HKCU\ControlPanel\Keybd\Locale
The value for English is 0409
For German change to 0407
Once changed make a soft reset.

you can change the hardware-keyboard-layout by editing the registry, there´s a thread out there named change wm6 keyboard layout
or you just use this cab!
i´m using zokis NBD 8.2 and it´s great!
in the newer WM6 Rom´s you have to copy the sym.0409.txt manualy to the windows folder, cause the cab is for wm5.
be sure your wizard is CID and SIM unlocked and find out if it´s a G3 or G4!

If you guys want to invest some time - then I am sure Schaps can cook a german rom for you!
In the days of Hermes, I translated together with mgartner some files for him and after that he could provide his localized ROM - but be prepared: its a fuzzy, boring work - and i guess thats the reason why there is still no german cooked rom avaliable
So if you wanna face the work: Contact Schaps with that proposal!

my original german t-mobile rom is fine, just a few *.cabs and everything is like i want it to be.
the only thing i am waiting for is the chat-sms-thing from the 6.1 roms!

I will cook a german Rom in 1,5 month, currenty Im in the army and I have only 1 day free in a week, in this time cant translate a rom cause its too difficult I already cooked some roms for testing but there just in english and dont work as I want. As I already mentioned, after the army I will work for it but I cant promise you anything

I think most of us are having a hard time understanding exactly what you want. Let me try to guess. You want a new ROM for your phone...like a Windows Mobile 6.1 ROM. You do not want carrier branding, thus you would like a custom cooked ROM. And by the sounds of it, you are not real sure how to use the terminology which means you probably have not flashed a ROM before.
Please go to the first thread, the sticky, and read what it says. There are links to all of the information you could possibly need in that thread. Yes, it is a lot of reading, but failure to fully understand what you are doing and how it should be done could result in bricking your phone. A bricked phone is good for one thing...being a paperweight. So unless you are prepared for that, go forth and begin your reading.

Post in that forum regarding your issue.
Make sure you read the Wiki regarding flashing, as you need to hard spl your device first before you can flash it.

I understand that English is not your primary language, neither is mine (I speak American)... But the rules of this forum require posts to be in English, or at least an English translation provided in the same post.

According to Nutritional Anthropologists Enchiladas are an American creation. They were created by a Mexican Bar owners under the request of three very astute Women from Texas. Also chili con carne I believe is Cowboy cuisine through and through.

Do you have HardSpl installed?..
if yes.. try with mtty... theres a good tutorial to use mtty in this forum.

Makes no difference to me who created them...I love enchiladas and chili. I have had enchiladas in la Ciudad de Mexico--Mexico City for the gringos among us and they are good too. A little different than the texmex in the US but good none the less. I have even had great mexican food in Tokyo.
And now the thread returns to topic. Try flashing from the SD Card. The Wiki has the info on how to do it. The Kaiser Forum is so much better organized than some of the others, thanks to dedicated mods and Alex!

The contents of the archive you can see in the text file filetree.
Not all programs are for the Mega.
But 90% of the programs run on the Mega.
There are programs for all areas there.
Everything is unpacked 544MB Large.

ur english is fine , now i start unzipping and testing how everythin is working ;]] i'll edit this message with the feedback after reviewing what i like by name , and then everythin else ;]]
Chriss1983 , i uploaded about 50mb of progs to my phone , which i could find usefull for my phone (by name) , most of them working fine , many need G-Sensor , so i've deleted them , but quite good ... btw the Touch cube and the nue clocking really screw up the phone , so , if not needed , dont download --> 3 soft resets and finally managed to remove them . otherwise , there are many programs that i liked a lot !
i'm gonna give a try of the others progs , and hope i see more goodies ;]]

Wow.....I have a nice collection of programms myself but not quite so well organised and complete.......compliments for your efforts!!
Will browse and see what I can use.....you never have enough apps although you most propably use only a small portion of them

I will still order the collection as it is unfortunately still very unclear. I have even more programs which I will upload.
Since it is very much work, it will probably be something else. But I'm doing as soon as possible ..

Hello Chriss, many nice apps indeed.....above you have written some items you are working on and can help especially the less experienced users.
Some points from my side:
-For some reason 18 files could not be unzipped (error)
-Would remove programms which do not run on Mega (G-sensor based?) or could give problems.
-Some programms can be in another category perhaps like sensivity touch under tuning....
-If there is a German version of programm see if you can add English version aswell....Deutsch fur mich kein problem, aber fur die Meisten wohl....
-SPB programms are great stuff but think you can not publish here since is paid software
-Create seperate category with HTC software.
-When possible add the version of program (like clean ram version 1.9.5 )

I will try to respond to the points.
I'm going to categorize everything, but there are many programs and halt
there come to the e.g. pocket controller Pro (HTC via the PC-tax)
To make things in English I would have to get everything well in English,
I speak German.

Is there any application to use stylus to write sms ??
I mean handwriting detection apps that can be integrated with the keyboard options. Think its very much possible bcoz the built in "Note" app uses stylus to write down.

You can't, the zip had cracked software or warez. Which is not allowed in this forum . Look at the remark at the end of the first post.

Do you mean the theme or wallpaper? In that case use M2DC.
