you search THAT specific today plugin, or just want to make clock...such as:
,
,
these are from my beloved WAD standalone.
method is simple, cpy font from pc /windows/fonts into pocketpc /windos/fonts , install wad, make new text object, then choose your font, and type in "text to sisplay" %T24% for 24 hrs clock, or %T12% for 12 hrs clock to have one... whole idea.
...or use rltoday, idd...

You can do that with rlToday, just need to find the skin to your liking.
yup, sry i forgot 'bout it... designing is harder on that one..
nice screen, though.
Thanks to all for the replay, but I actually looking for that specific plugin, it seems to me like this clock is embedded in the default today date line... is there any way to embed it there with the suggested software on your posts?
P.S. I wouldn't be so pleased to install WAD (or similar), so much resource consuming...

the one that I've mentioned is a very small.. less than 1MB in size, I think. And, if you were to use a bit of effort and read the thread, it can be easily skinned by you to suit your needs (e.g. you don't even need to have that pesty little icon on the left). Currently, I had it for world time, which is not very good as it doesnt support DST yet, but for local time, it is prefect.
I'm with nothin on this one.. what the heck if that plugin.
Finally I've made this with rlToday:
Its not so good because of the font (its even uglier without ClearType), I lost 4 hours looking and testing for the right one without success ;(
Download link:
http://todorov.biz/iptClock.rar
P.S. If somebody could provide with a nicer font, will be nice.
Anyway the font should be pixel font because of cleartype on/off and every digit in the font should have exactly same width.

Hehe, did you noticed the time difference ? Anyway, looks good to me, don't be so harsh on yourself.
Question
silly question, how do you remove the time from the upper right hand corner since I will be using this new clock......I just dont need two things telling me what time it is, its not that important!! haha
The time diff is because of the different refresh time of today clock and top line clock
Btw I also looking for (probably) registry changes to remove default clock from the top line...

Actually 99% , but good enough The real one is glossier, this one is smoother.
To remove the clock from the title bar:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Shell\ShowTitleBarClock = 0
Restart and its gone, but the batter indicator appears
no way to kill the battery indicator?????????? I Dont need a third indicator.....wouldnt see the point...

Not really. The original pic was taken with a digi cam while the second one is a screen capture.
Good work. Nothin that's some really good stuff right there man. I'm gonna have to give this proggie a try.
24 hour time format
Ok how to get this out of 24 hour format or is there a way?
It is 24 hour format isn't it?, anyway there is an XML file where you can find all the configurable values.
For documentations u may check rlToday's website

Hi,
I am about to embark upon changing the menu icons and screen touches that leave the green behind. Before I do I wanted to see if anyone had already successfully changed this FULLY rather than on just one screen and also one that works on the topaz. Any I have found so far either do not work or do a partial job.
Obviously if someone has done it already I would be keen to ive their work a try as this will be my first modding task and admittedly think I am starting at the deep end.
Also any advice or suggestions would be appreciated. If my work is succesful I will of course attempt to upload it for others to use
Thanks
CFC GUI is your friend, you can extract and replace all the graphics using it.
Which one(s) have you found that worked partially?
I have spent hours trawling through the various forums to find snippets from here and there, but in all honesty I'm a bit lost.
I found a 'T-Mobile' file which looks nice, but I have yet to try it on the device (because it hasn't arrived yet )
I will definitely be wanting to change away from green, so if/when you figure it out then please do let us (me) know how. Blue or grey is my target.
Here you go, green to blue with the attached CAB.
[UPDATE]
Changed all non-TF3D green highlighting/switches/buttons to blue also!
Due to CAB size, I've put it on my RapidShare account, no need to wait for download as it's been made a TrafficShare download.
Have left original version available for download for those who only want TF3D modified.

TD2 Green to Blue v2.cab (6114.0 KB, Unlimited views)
Enjoy!
Fantastic! Thanks hoosbude.
Sadly my device didn't arrive today as expected, so I'm still waiting. However, I shall look forward to trying your CAB and seeing what type of 'blue' you've provided.
Can you explain how you did it? What tool(s) did you use, and is it easy to do? Mostly I'm quite happy with TF3D, but I'd like to learn how to mess with the colours a little.
Yes, I have read and searched, and I got as far as finding Max TF3D Theme Maker - it looks a bit too much for what I need. Is this the way to go, or is there a simpler solution?
Thanks in advance.
Thanks for the cab. I will give it a try. admittedly I put the project on hold due to a cosmetic issue my phone picked up similar to this
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=522813
So my motivation to start any projects will be gone until I either get a replacement or repair. Hopefully your cab will do the trick

I used CFC GUI to extract the graphics then used Photoshop to change the hue, then used CFC GUI to re-implant the graphics to the original format then made the CAB. It took me about 40mins to do from start to finish (I did alter 47 files! also I made the boot picture blue too as a bonus!!)
Cab appears to work great only thing i have noticed that is not blended into the blue touch colour scheme is the communications tab of the settings menu which still has the green slide bars. If you fancy changing that it would be perfect.
To answer the question somebody asked earlier about other similar things i tried there is one made by lexirae (cant find the link now) that removes the touch coloured panel on the front screen with a transparent touch, There was also one made for the globe but think it was for a cooked rom as it made my opera browser inoperable and a hard reset was needed.

Yeah I noticed that also, the graphics for that were not shown by CFC GUI so that's why they were missed!
If anyone knows which files they are in I'd be much obliged (although I will google it later when I have the time)
Think the file you are looking for is 471b0a55_manilla
It is labelled in CFC-GUI under settings SWITCH_ON
If I am incorrect and you have already looked at this then apologies

hoosbude, I worship you...
My TD2 arrived today and I'm loving it - for a device so seemingly similar to my Xperia, the Xperience is completely transformed...slick, quick and much more user friendly.
I love what you've done with the blue highlighting, which really sets everything off nicely (well, nearly everything - there's still the odd rogue greenie around such as the HTC task manager highlights, but I'll live with that).
Thanks so much, you don't know how much happier this makes me with my new toy.

Yes, thanks. I discovered that by accident (I installed my old Xperia black theme, but then needed to delete it so I changed to HTC black in preparation and noticed that this worked as well so I don't need my Xperia them at all).
Looking good.
Really a great job !!!
I install your cab and my phone is very nice now, thanxxxxxxxxxxxxx !!!
The last "green touch", in my phone is on the screen where it ask for sim code (just after booting)... The "enter" case is still green... Could you do anything for that ?
If needed I can send you a picture of the screen, but, for the moment, I haven't any camera in my desk do that !
is there a lightgray version of this?
First of all thanks to Fightspit from the Android section of the forums for the original icons and smaberg for the use of his % CAB.
This is the second revision of this CAB as I wanted to make the battery icons larger and remove grey segments. They're only slightly larger after all my retouching/cropping/resizing lol but I can live with them now .

Even though the icons have been retouched, on anything but a black taskbar, artifacts may be noticed. As the original icons had some sort of shadow effect, which I couldn't clean without having an adverse affect on the shape of the segments.
Install 'SdkCerts.CAB' first (if you don't already have it installed) and then soft reset.
Then install the '% Circular Battery Mod.CAB' to device memory and then soft reset. CAB is uninstallable.
The CAB works on ROM 1.66, I don't know if it'll work on anything else.
I've also uploaded the original icon set, so if anyone wants to mod further, feel free .
Update: added V2 CAB (grey segments not removed in this CAB)
Another Update: Thanks to TheLynxy for the super smooth icons. Due to the excellent design and clarity of this set, these icons will look good regardless of the colour of your taskbar (no artifacts). V3 CAB added.
My personal favorite is still the first set and they took the longest to do
Update: added V4 CAB - all original icons done by me , colour taskbar friendly (no artifacts).
Another Update : BT&Headset.zip uploaded. In my quest to improve the quality of the stock icons, I've uploaded some improved BT+Headset icons. Just extract then copy them into the Windows directory with Resco Explorer or Total Commander.
Yet another update. V5 uploaded, 6.5.X friendly. (thanks to MykeChester for the screen )

Update: I've found the icons I need (in fact I've found two styles), to be fair I still don't know who originally created them as everyone I messaged said they didn't make them .
It's just a long job of resizing them all and then hopefully someone will give me a hand (hint, hint ) putting the new files into something like Touch X's Battery % CAB.
Just give me the files and the size they need to be resized to and I can see what I can do. Maybe we split up so it´s going to be faster.

Thanks for the offer but I have completed the resizing and am a quarter of the way through putting them into the DLL file.
There is one last hurdle though, the DLL needs to be signed before I can put it back into the CAB. The last time I did such stupid things was when I had a Diamond and it wasn't problem resigning DLL files as the cert was in date.
I last tried to create my own battery icons around January for the HD2 and wasn't able to resolve the signing problem so abandoned it but I do believe a new signer/cert is available now but am unfamiliar with the new process. So a crash course in what's needed would be good. Failing that I'll just upload the modded DLL and/or the ICO's and see if anyone can complete the CAB.
Sorry can´t help with certifying the dll but I would love to have the png/ico files anyway! Is there a chance to send them to me? I would appreciate that.
And of course I´m waiting for the wonderful battery icon. The stock one is crap.
Count me in on that
I would also like this one.
Really looking forward. Hopefully someone could provide a cab asap.
SL bb
Just a quick update, finished it all including CAB . However I've done it wrong lol, the icons needed to be cropped first not just resized and the icons themselves don't look good as the greyed out segments can still clearly be seen (dam transparency filter!!!!).
I personally wanted just a black & white battery icons, so I have just finished retouching every single icon to clean them up. I will just need to now actually resize them (have typically found a much faster way of doing this now ) and then finally re-CAB them. Which I will do when I get some free time during the week.
Here's what the first attempt looked like: (you'll see the greyed out segments and that it looks too small and weird in my opinion LOL)
wow that looks awesome! I like that the greyed out segments are still visible! Don´t change that please. Or maybe you can provide 2 versions?
Maybe I can help. And is there a chance of making the circle a little bigger?
lookin' forward to
Hmmm, ya it does seem a little small. I do kinda the visible greyed out segments, but I think I'll wait and see how it looks without them.
EDIT: Hahaha horstborsch, one minute before me. Having two versions sounds like a good idea.
LOL, @horstborsch & @Bluey Thunder. The reason it looks small is because I messed it up by just resizing the original icons, these original icons didn't use the full area of the icon frame and hence once resized they got a little too small for my liking. I've addressed this by cropping the originals and then resizing to the required size, mental as it sounds it should produce a bigger icon .
Regarding doing a version with the grey segments included, that should be easy enough to do after I've completed the clean (bigger) ones I'm doing right now. Hopefully I'll be able to complete the clean version today after I've finished breakfast .
this will be a great battery indicator mod for stock icons... will keep an eye on this thread...
First post updated with CAB's and original icons.
Thanks man
love your work
[THUMBS UP]
Awesome work! Installed it and everything seems to be working perfectly. Much more informative than the old 5 (or so) bars.
Oh and thanks for also posting the original icons too, I'm sure someone will appreciate it.
Introduction
Ok, so some of you may have seen my first clocks I've every made - know as the geek clocks. I would like to explain myself then continue this beautiful idea I have.
As many of you know, as soon as you take out your HD2 people awe over it's size but always end up asking - is that an iPhone? Then a conversation opens, and they say - so why wouldn't you just get an iPhone? Valid question for people who don't actually know how to use a cellphone. But we then show them how much better our cell really is. But truthfully, no one cares about specs - they care about looks. It's like at a bar: you don't go over to the nicest girl, you go over to the hottest girl.
So therefore, I would like to introduce to you the new Ultimate Geek Redesign! The idea is to have a funny, geeky, spiffy way to show off our cellphones just from our homescreen. I call this a redesign and not a theme is because I plan on making it a continual work in progress, as well as having multiple clocks/locks/softkeys/etc. so you can pick whatever you want without me picking your theme for you.
I am currently a beginner at all this jazz and the only thing I know how to use is photoshop. My cabs probably aren't made perfectly (although they work - I proved that on my cell) and I don't understand the coding at all... although I am currently trying to learn. Although, now that I think about it, that means my stuff's probably better for you - you know, "beginner's luck"
I will be constantly adding widgets to here (I've been working for 2 days and see how far I've gone already) so check back often.
If you have any ideas to build on what I have or new designing projects, or can help me with the programming bit, please pm me or reply to me here!
Now for the REDESIGNING!
Table of Contents:
CamoLock - The Invisible Lock Screen
InvisibleLock - I don't exist
No Entry - Do not enter! lock
The Ultimate Geek Clock - we just wanna show off
Digi-Geek Clock - For Those Digitalized Geeks
Binary Clock - It's Time to Work with Powers (pun intended)
The CamoLock- The invisible (camouflaged) lock screen
Who wants to be able to see there lock button - just just takes up room and looks, well, not so nice This is for cht's lockscreen - windows style! (When you hold it down it turns normal again - then let go and it disappears... magic!)

No Entry Lock Screen
We don't anyone touching or messing around with our cell - it's time to share that!
The Ultimate Geek Clock
Link to its page is here.
Digi-Geek Clock (same link as before) [please use 24 clocks people - that's what geeks are for )
Softkeys in the pictures above (they are minimal to leave our beautiful screen more room!)
Binary Clock - the ultimate geek way to tell time without anyone every knowing!
(The time is 1:56 - I hope you could tell)
By they way, this is only for 24 hour clocks - because, of course, we are geeks!
Works in progress:
Backgrounds (although more ideas would be nice!)
Locks
Email/Messages Skins
More Softkeys
Ideas for anything would be greatly appreciated, and again, anyone who can help with the programming lua and mode9 or whatever that stuff is would be amazing!

Just as a quick guess, it's because you don't have the CHT lockscreen set or it's not set to windows style... in any case after you install you have to restart sense - but I actually currently have it installed on mine so it is possible - I would put up a screen shot but I feel like that might be a waste of room
In any case check your settings then get back to me
good luck

Hi Guys
I uploaded a folder which contains 6 subfolders in which are prepared images for the Plain Layout with different opacities I would recommend you donwload the folder, then unrar it and put it on your SD Card. Then you can choose the two images with the transpereny you wnat and just copy them into the windows directory
Opacities are : 90 , 70 , 50 , 30 , 10 , 0
The Folder can be downloaded here.
Well I updated the cab, so that now the positioning of the hour time in plain mode is a little more to the left. Also the issue of costumizing the mail and sms widgets has been selved. Furthermore thanks to dunc the xml file has been updated so it should switch flawlessly
After a long time and due to an amazing help of Dunc001 I am finally proud to present to you my very first Widget.
This is my Pulse Clock and I hope you enjoy using it.

The Clock comes with 6 different Layouts. Five of them are switching depending on the time it currently is. Its kind of like the luming up of a Clock
The first Layout Plain doesnt change, because there was no reason for making a dark background even darker
This Clock uses the same way of functioning like rat's Optimus Clock. It uses png's.
This makes it very easy for you to actually change the background of the Clock.
To accomplish that you just have to follow these simple steps:
- Make a png file with 512x256 pixels.
- Then Place what ever you want for the Background in the upper left corner of the image file.
- Of course you have to play around with the positioning to make it fit the clock.
- The Image you have created must be named :
npcPulseClockBackgroundPanelsAM.png <---This defines the picture beeing used between 6AM and 6PM
And:
npcPulseClockBackgroundPanelsPM.png <---This defines the picture beeing used between 6PM and 6AM
- It is necessary for you to make this two pngs. Otherwise it will change back to the original image I put inside the Widget
- If you have the images ready just copy them into your windows directory on your device, restart sense and you are done
----> BTW: This is a guide to change Layout 6: "Panels". If you need to edit more Layouts just ask, or take a look into the Cab.
To install this Widget just download the CAB and then install and perform a Softreset
The Widget has been tested and worked flawlessly^^
If any errors appear, just ask. But because I am quite new to this I may not be capable of answering all your questions, but as you know there are many awesome guys here at XDA's that will surely be able to help you, if I cant help you
Again once more:
Many Thanks to Dunc001!! Without him this would have never been possible for me to archieve
Well I hope you enjoy this Widget of mine and if you fell that way, then let me know by pressing my Thanks Button.

Thanks Santod
Dunc made me aware of the fact, that the CHTS.xml isnt correct so there will be a new version of the Cab in some hours. For those of you that arent using CHTS, dont hesistate to use the current version, because it wont affect the widget in a noticable way

+1 for this, it would be very cool.
Thanks Bunglechunk . I hope others think this would be cool as well. I figure the more +1's we get the better the chances are for someone to want to make Farscape stuff.
+1 to you good sir
Well any ideas for a clock? Digital or Analog? And as far as softkeys?
It's been a while since I've seen farscape (last time was in highschool) so my knowledge of it is small at best, but I did like it. Maybe I can give some a go if we get some concrete ideas going.

Hey mrhayami! Yeah I was 19 when the came out. Am 30 now, but have been watching Farscape via netflix. Anyway, I was thinking maybe using the Moya communicator thing as maybe a sms widgit or analog clock. Some kind of wait cursor or any ideas you may have. Nordpolcamper has already made a few things for me. I also have a Farscape font but dont know hot to cab it up so the whole phone is Farscape font. Anyway, any ideas you may would be great!
Here is screen shot with the different toggles and slider that Nordpolcamper made, not all are shown.
I was thinking this could be made into a clock -

That would be an awesome clock!
Hope someone can help!
Hi everyone! I really hope someone can help. I have this Farscape font that I would like to use to change the font of the whole phone. I have seen threads on how to do it but I can honestly say I dont fully understand how to do it , nor do I have the programs to do so. I really hope someone knows how and doesnt mind cabbing it up for me.
Anyway I will post a few links to show what i am talking about along with the font file.

Thanks in advance !
I'll see if I can help any I'm just finishing up a project with rat, should be done soon.
Thanks
AWESOME! I really appreciate it.
I've created a clock out of the picture posted above in post #6.
With a couple of suggestions from darkwolfelite, I've made the hour/minute hands into Qualta Blades and it's now ready for release (cab file attached).
If you have any suggestions/criticisms, please feel free to do so - this is my first clock and first mod of any kind so all comments are welcome!
Enjoy!
Ive just made a cab for the font that darkwolfelite posted.
Im just about to test it and see what happens.........
**20 mins later.......**
ok...........
@ darkwolfelite, in response to the points you mentioned yesterday.
Ive got all the fonts within sense changed + 80% of the default Winmo menus.
The "Start" text is controlled by a .dll which is not something Ive ever tinkered with and can be notoriously difficult to get working.
Im working on getting the WM softkeys to appear in the farscape font.
The best part is......... the cab is uninstalling so no need for a hard reset.
Im gonna have a few more attempts at acheiving "total coverage"......
Ok, this is what Ive got so far. Softkeys arent happening and I dont know why. Still looking for the right reg entry I guess.
Quite a lot of the phone is covered, all sense menus, many wm menus, some apps.
The downside, the font is quite small and some things can be difficult to read.
Its possible to adjust font sizes using a registry editor.
Go to the root of the registry and search for "font".
Flick through all instances looking for entries relating to font size and adjust as required.
Cab attached. Will continue looking into this in the quest for "total coverage"....
Now I am watching Farscape season2 episode 4
Thank you.
Hey conantroutman thanks for everything you are doing! I appreciate it alot! As far as the font being to small, I have the sk tools so I think I can change the font size with it.
And as far as the "start" word I was wondering if cabs can be broken down in reverse to like see whats in it and maybe how it was done? I don't know if that's possible but if so I have a Lucidia handwriting cab from I think sarcy (Major_Sarcasm) that I know changes the "start" but can't remember if it did WM softkeys. Either way I really like the cab and am looking forward to the "Total Coverage" but am very happy with what you've done!
BTW: Your taskbar? For 6.5 or 6.5x?

Nice! I only have one episode left Well also The Peace Keeper wars movie!
No problem, happy to help.
Post that cab and ill have a look inside. I know how to do the start button in theory but I've never actually done it.
I think the soft keys are just a matter of searching for the right reg entries.
The taskbar is tacchan's dusk taskbar and I think there is a version for both 6.5 and 6.5.x
Sent from my fingers to your face...

No problem! Side note, SK Tools didn't change the font size in Sense, but its ok I will try the Reg edit thing you mentioned.
Nice. I will look into the taskbar thanks!
P.S to all. The cab file in this post is not mine nor do I claim it to be. It is by sarcy(Major_Sarcasm) I believe.
Right, so I've been working on this clock today and I think it's gone pretty well.
The clock face is Moya and the hour/minute hands are Peacekeeper Prowlers - the only thing is the hands are rather dark against Moya.
Hope you like it
nice!

Nice clock Bunglechunk! I LIKE it! I agree with the hands being dark and also noticed the minute hand might not be connected. I will post a pic! Either way everything keeps getting better and better.
