if you are having problems with WiFi there is one tweak to make it work
Something HTC preloadstatus=dword:1 & another one or something
That will preload WiFi at boot.
But it costs you ~1 MB of ram. It's not enabled in Core 2.0
ah ok thats how u got so much free ram. i just installed 2.0 final liking it so far

deleting init_tray will give you another 0,5 MB
Gaining additional RAM is more tricky, than just removing inits, etc.
My way for making any sys better with more RAM:
- turning off unused sounds,
- DELETING today plugins that i never use(registry cuts, even system plugins),
- keyboards removal,
- fatfs cache = 0, filterscache =0 ,
- unmapping all button assing that i never use,
- windows live SERVICE removal(wlmservice, sktools can remove whole damn thing),
- memory saving GUI customisation( minimalism),
- smart methods for TSK making = optimised images, etc,
- some other...things, like trayinit, poutlook removal, and more.
effect: 195 mhz omap runs like 300 mhz xscale on wm03, max 33.5 mb mem free with complete today on WAD, 2 x wm5newmenu, smartskeys, inclose mobile, todayagenda, and 2 custom fullscreen images as wallpaper.

what happens if i remove poutlook i thought that was for txtin and such
I've already posted this in the other thread, but so it doesn't get buried....
Ho do you disable the "Preload wifi on startup" and still get the bloody thing to turn on on first push?

i think its just preloader..yup?
i am just not using 3/4 of things in wizard so... heh, it works fine.
well if i use the palm threaded sms app i could delete poutlook right?
use a 3rd party app
I accomplish the feat by _not_ using comm manager in the first place. I use the latest BattStatusBeta which has a great wifi on/off item. I've also used WifiFoFum 2. The damn commmanager is just the pits in wm6! But, as this is a thread for increasing mem, I could see why not adding a 3rd party app might not be the best solution...I'd love to hear how to FIX CommManager WM6 1ce and 4all !

few shortcuts..and:
do i need some goddamn fullscreen apps(i.e.comm manager onscreen..)?
You still lose the memory when Wifi starts so it's not like you're gaining a whole lot by not preloading. I still have 27 mb on startup, so it's not like I'm hurting for ROM.

I want "your" version of this ROM or at least a tutorial!! Please? When I remove poutlook tmail... etc I get error messages when connecting activesync......
yes hows about a tutorial or specs on what u have changed
I've got a hunch on the Wifi thing. The comm manager for some reason doesn't load the driver on the first push. I ran a registry comparison yesterday with the wlan button off and wifi preload disabled in the registry (dword:0), and the first push of the wlan button. What I found was that the first push only enabled the SDIO driver, but didn't turn on the wifi. The second push actually turned on the wifi. When you do a hard reset by pushing the stylus-hole button, the wifi driver will remain activated on reset even though the "preload wifi" option is turned off in the registry. Now when you tap the wifi button on the comm manager, wifi will come on without the second push. HOWEVER, when you turn off the wifi and then soft reset by holding down the power button, the driver will be unloaded and you will have to push the wlan button twice.
I think this has to do with the key in the 10 button comm manager you have to delete to get the wifi to turn on at all using the button. I haven't figured out how to do this yet, but something tells me that if you change that key, you can turn on wifi without having to preload the driver and get your RAM back when you turn it off. I'll need a couple of days to track this down, but if someone wants to get started, be my guest.
this 10 button manager is a mess! i want the 8 button one back!

BRIGHTPHONE FINAL NOTES:
This project started because I got tired of flashing other people's rom creations. I was not using most of the things they cooked up. Simply had no need for those programs. So for the last 3 months I have abused this kitchen to make the most stable rom for myself. Cooking and testing and cooking and testing...
This was once the original kitchen ported and posted by VILLABOY25 back in April. There is not much left of the original settings or rgu's. The UI changed; as well as just about all of the packages; some DLL's; OS graphics, and fixes to things that refused to work. I am finally very happy with it. I hope that you will be as well.
(Unless I find that I overlooked something, there will be no more updates. If you find something that does not work, please let me know.)
CEOS 5.2.19209
SYS 5.2.19209
Memory: 33 @boot
Storage: 44.85
Page pool: 2mb
Features:
Touch Scrolling
Smarts key (long press soft keys to activate start menu and quit programs)
GPRS Disconnect by pressing and holding end key.
Active sync connects via Bluetooth (make sure you sync via Bluetooth first before USB)
CommManager loads faster (smaller graphics)
OperaMini preloaded. Security bypassed.
File Explorer (extended) is fixed to show properly from the start.
DotFredTaskManager updated.
UC (User Customization) turned on.
All phone features and control panels enabled.
Quick Menu registry changed to work as seamlessly with the UI as possible.
A lot of functionality.
WMP has a new large indicator skin (by me)
Programs: (things I use most often or cannot live without)
GOOGLE MAPS 2.1.0.10
Esmertec Java 2008222.3.1
OPERA MINI 4.1 signed. (No annoying security requests)
INTERNET SHARING (I have an unlimited data plan and no wifi hotspots around)
RC MOD (changes the appearance of the top and bottom bars)
ARIEL BATTERY 2 (covers up the windows flag with something functional)
DOT FRED TASK MANAGER (a task manager that is more functional than the one on XP)
QUICK MENU (will never have a rom without it. too many functions to list)
SIM Manager (to load your contacts to and from your sim card)
WM5TORAGE (connect your phone as an SD card reader)
Bluetooth Explorer/BTFTP (enables Bluetooth file transfers)
1CALC (I use it mostly to calculate tips, and bits and bytes)
FILE EXPLORER (extended functions; like reading extensions of files, and navigating folders)
SEARCH (function I could never find useful until my SD card became too crammed)
PICTURES AND VIDEOS (sorry, no album. No space; and bad functioning UI)
WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER (fixed. plays whatever the camera records+MP3's. comes standard)
MS VOICE COMMAND (In personal Settings. Dials numbers by voice, also supposed to control WMP FExplorer Calendar read you your messages...)
SRS WOW HD (in system settings. greatly improves the sound of music)
REMOTE DESKTOP
NETWORK PLUGIN
NETWORK WIZARD
SMS SERVICE
WIRELESS MODEM
OFFICE 2007 MOBILE:
EXCEL
NOTES
ONENOTE
POCKET RAR
POWERPOINT
TASKS
WORD
If you are a beginner, please read the stickies at the top of the forum.
This rom IS G4 safe.
Some programs start slower than others. This is normal. Many of the packages were UPX’ed, and it takes a second to decompress them.
The default today theme was originally set up for a light background with black text. You can fix this by changing it to the WM6.1 theme. All will be well again.
PLEASE ALLOW THE CUSTOMIZATION TO RUN. Opera Mini will not work otherwise; and the fExplore will not be fixed.

anyone have the cabs for solitaire & bubble breaker
I use radio 2.37 and it is the only radio I use since San Diego has the worst reception for tmobile. glad i am leaving soon.
Sorry about taking out the games. The Java midlet manager will allow you to play a lot of games made for just about any cellphone (no sound though)
and I figured that nobody was actually playing those games anymore. I will post a cab with the original games as well as pocket gbs (sonic the hedgehog)

My Observations
Nice rom. Big Ram about 34mb after a fresh restart. But i found some problems and i did a hard reset but same problem appears. 1) Ok button doesnt respond well even though i re-configured quickmenu option and even used wktask but no luck! And my touchscreen doesnt respond well too. SOmetimes i have to double tap menu buttons. Is it necessary to downgrade to its original rom and then upgrade with this rom? Cuz i didnt do that.
i forgot
It has no PIMBACKUP at ADVANCE CONFIG I think adjusting the pressure threshold can solve the touchscreen problem i am experiencing.
.That may be because when first boot happens, quick menu starts and you have to left click the D pad to get it to go away.
Try setting screen alingment.
I have never used pim backup because it conflicts with activesync.
advanced config could be usefull I guess, but you can do that with the registry editor located in the programs/tools menu.
setting the screen alignment solved the problem you are experiencing.

one thing I have noticed is that it is slow on boot after you see the today screen. when the ram goes down to 30+ it starts to work fine. Also, please note that I UPXed a few programs like MMS and file explorer, and that MS VoiceCommand is running in the background.
Feel free to change the pagepool if you like (WST), but keep in mind that some progs load slower because they are UPXed, and once they are decompressed they work fast again.
this is meant to be an "everyday" rom. so I included a lot of context menu DLL's and turned on all of the features the ROM and it's programs have to offer; that I knew how. For me the speed is fine. I personaly keep the Pagepool @6mb. but 2 has been stable, and hasn't froze on me after two weeks of intensive using.
I will try to decompress file explorer and MMS (.exe was cut in half by UPX) and see if it will still have some room.
I will download this as soon as I can. I didn't realize you had something new. Your work is amazing.

Hey, can u upload the 588 rom coz i was using it, before using yours, and it was quite stable and fast, i used it for almost 1 month.
But please keep the pagepool to 4 mb.
when I am done fixing it up I will post it. so far I have had a problem with some cabs freezing if installed from storage card. could have just been a corrupt cab though.
I agree it is fast; but doesnt seem as stable as the 209 (which may not be fast, but NEVER CRASHED on me) even with a 2 mb P.P.
Still working on it.
Here you go!!!!!!!!!

8. to get Proxy working:
BSWeather.XML
find:
<proxy>0</proxy>
change 0->1
so it would look like:

PS: I forgot to mention one more thing:
for some reason, I put a backslash in front of the city code to make it work. Without it, no worky.

What a good rom and of course a good cook. Everything looks great. This is the first rom that integrated everything so well, and the speed is good too. I tried many roms, sometimes it hard to keep balance between the "good look" and "good speed". However, I have a noob question. I believe this rom uses ultimate launcher and it is a pay ware. What will happen if I keep using the unregistered version? will the cube at the bottom dissapear or something? Thanks

OF course - RAM will go down even if you plug an USB cable to reload the phone...casue ACTIVE SYNC is started in background!!!!!!!!!!!
That´s my problem with iGO...if i am in my car or bike...IF you put an USB-Cable (not wallcharger) Activesync starts and you loose 1,5MB RAM!!!!
That´s not strange - that is Microsoft!

[RELEASE-06/Aug/2008] * ITsPapaBlack RC6 * 20273.1.3.3 WING
Okay after a little experimentation with ThrottleLauncher and a backup, and now another fresh start with this rom, here comes my review on papas new rom. First of all great work and many thanks to papa for cooking up a great rom, time and hard work ( away from traveling the mountains on the new bike, and teaching ) to create something for us flash-a-holics.
Not much has changed from the RC5 series ( THE BUILD IS WHAT MAKES THE BIG DIFFERENCE FROM THE RC5.3). But it is still great work, very fast - really don’t have to overclock it. But lets cut to the chase and break it down..
After initial flash:
Storage Programs
49.95 51.81 Total
6.13 25.50 In Use
43.82 26.31 Free
But the Program ram changes as time goes by… Ive had it as high as 28.14 available… then dropped to 27.xxmb available with no apps installed.
Same programs included in the rom that were included in the RC5 series, so im not gonna list them.
Plus I had plenty of time to play with this rom all day ( but I had throttle launcher installed and running - my review is based on the rom without throttle launcher - but will list the performance of it at the end of this review for those interested )
Included apps for everyday usage ( that I use everyday ) functionality.
ACTIVESYNC - Works great no problems just make sure you set up the Connections Setttings first.
Battery - Very strong lasted me the whole day at work. Only hooked it up to the charger for about an hour for the ride home from work.
Connection Settings ( Network Wizard ) - Not included in this rom, but recommended to set up your network or you can fill in your own carriers settings in connections.
Contacts - Icontacts is cooked into the rom but is not set up for the soft key but you can always assign it.
Calendar - its there what do you expect - but today agenda is also on the home screen in the tab for UL so you have you upcoming appointments right there for you.
Camera - Works great no issues.
Dial pad - works great, good old papas theme keys.
Messaging - works great out the box, threaded sms works, MMS WORKS - NO HACK NEEDED.
Bluetooth - Works great, easy to ocnnect to device.
Weather - Set it up with Battery status ( edit the .xml see first post on how to do it )
WiFi - Not tested ( I don’t use ).
Internet - works enough said.
Games - GET YOUR OWN GAMES - PAPA DON’T PLAY NO GAMES!!!!…
Office - its there so use it, no issues with it.
Internet Sharing - ( not Tested - I have total internet )
Media Player -
Windows Media Player - black skin and works great.
HTC audio manager - Black theme - and works great.
TCMCP - Works great.
After installing several of my programs:
Aol instant messenger
Astraware bejeweled 2
Ateksoft Webcamera Plus
Quickemenu
Aces Texas Hold em
Uno Classic
Pocket Artist
SD Config tool
Java Pack 1.2.0
Guitar Hero 3
.Net Framework
MS Live Search
MS Voice Command 1.6
Palringo
Pocket RAR
Real Dragon Loan Assist
Resco Brain Games
FlashVideoBundle
Btaudio
Spb backup
Spb screenshot
Vtap
Windows live
you tube player
Network wizard ( uninstalled it after I set my network up )
After installing my apps and UNINSTALLING NETWORK WIZARD program ram went to about 25.00mbs after soft reset…
Then drops to about 20.xx mb
Then drops again after sliding the keyboard out a couple of times to 16.3mb ( while plugged up to pc )
Doing another soft reset as I type this without it plugged up to the pc @ 25.xxmb again. So there might be a leak somewhere - but I will do a back up with all my stuff installed and run the rom bare just to see how the memory performs, cause I know some apps and programs can cause a conflict in the memory like MS voice command.
Overall this is a great rom, really no need for overclocking - even though I do it as a reflex once I get my wing set up - but I have been using the dynamic overclock feature of battery status. Papa really put in a lot of work on this rom, no bugs that I can find yet but will continue testing over the next few days.
NOW HERE IS MY BREIF REVIEW OF RC6 - AFTER SELF INSTALLING THROTTLE LAUNCHER
* for those that want to use it.
I installed throttle launcher 9.3 beta just to see how it works before installing all the apps that I usually use when flashing, and after doing the minor setup changes that thottle launcher requires ( put the zip for the weather and a couple of settings modifications ), also had to disable UL and battery status today plug in( still trying to figure out how to keep the battery status top bar showing at all times ) it was a green light. Throttle launcher runs real good on this rom but there were a few issues that I ran into while using it all day. The sliding sounds / refresh feature that is in this rom causes a lot of memory to taken up mixed with the amount of ram required for throttle launcher to run. I was probably at 15mb all day free and 20mb of ram to start with on reboot. Throttle launcher worked pretty fast especially with the device overclocked. Its not a bad thing about using throttle launcher cause it also had the black theme that I liked so It looked real good . I did have throttle launcher freeze up a few times on the screen but you can still navigate to the settings tab and reload throttle and it fixes the issue.
THIS PART OF THE REVIEW IS ONLY FOR THOSE THAT WANT TO CHANGE THE TODAY SCREEN SETUP TO THROTTLE LAUNCHER - I AM NOT PROMOTING IT - BUT I GET pm’s ABOUT OTHER SET UPS ON TOP OF PAPAS ROM !!!!
---------------------------------------------------------
So in all thanks Papa for the great rom!!!!
Thanks Skillzzz for the template..
* after typing all of this now my program ram is now 23.8mb after soft reset and not pressing anything after one hibernate !!!

Yes papa ... I am testing on a wing with no sd card and no sim card . But also on a wing with sd card and sim card. For all those reading I am testing on 2 wings at the same time.
Now on phone with SD Card & Sim Card .......
Free Ram : 19.90MB
After connecting to computer .....
Free Ram : 16.82MB 3:49am
Free Ram : 16.77MB 3:53am
Free Ram : 16.76MB 3:54am
So yes Microtrash does suck the ram from a phone.
Ok 1 more memory test . On the phone with no SD Card and no SIM card I am turning radio off meaning for the skow people I am entering Flight (airplane) mode. Well first I am resetting phone for a fresh start ....
Free Ram : 28.24MB 3:56am
Well there seems to be a little less ram than expected....... HHhhmmmmmm ... Any suggestions papa....
Im not seeing a mem leak. I have made a clean rom out of this great rom. Removed all extra software and reg entries. I have installed spb, icontact
V0.6, opera and thumbcal. I started with 24mb of ram today and i have 24 mb ram right now without a soft reset. I can do a backup and reload defaults and see if i see mem leak but I never noticed one.
i need to restart my device every 4 hours, leaking memory is a big problem in all the 6.1 CR86 series. is there any version that can keep you 19 MB of ram ?
everytime i running IGO the device crushes down
Most roms have what you refer to as a memory leak. Its not a memory leak of the rom as such, but window mobile memory management. I suggest you grab a copy of oxios hibernate, or my personal favourite - quickmenu.
well, i had roms that starting with 25 MB of free ram, and then goin down to 20 but stays there.
those CR86 roms goin from 18 MB to 9 MB ... it's impossible to work with
This really is a problem with these roms. I'm about ready to jump ship.
Maybe it's not just the rom? Anything installed after flash that could be the culprit? The versions with Manila is of course a little more demanding ;-)
I had the CR86 2.0 without Manila and was quite happy with it. Stable, and around 20 MB free at "all" times.
Then WM 6.5 (Justchome) got my attention and now I don't think I'm going back to 6.1.
Maybe a little less free memory, but never drops below 16 MB. Well, at least if I stay away from the more fancy themes and just run it out-of-the-box.
The Wizard and similar phones where designed for WM 5 which was less power-hungry, but go for one of ivanmmj's roms. They're usually pretty lean.
Actually, don't. Those are for Herald. Try one of xda2's 6.5 without too much "graphic clutter". They're lighter than many 6.1.
Yeah, I know I need to update my signature... and now it's up to date

Nope. Sorry - my bad
thank you for your reply. i'm downloading Chome and then see what's up - updates will be later
Okay, i flash to Chome and it's slow as hell !!!
i mean, it's impossible. i dunno if it has leaking memory or not , but it's just slow !
going back to CR86 latest version
The memory and speed issues are driving me nuts. I switched to xda2's chome rom. So far it's been faster, but only time will tell.
the CR86 2.3 and 2.4 are real fast and stable . those are the best roms i've been into for while . the only problem, again it's the memory issue.
i know all the wizards has memory issue, but for some reason in those roms it's ridicules, sometimes i have 9 MB of ram left hehe.

OK, when the memory goes very low. Checkout which exe/app is taking more memory in taskmgr. I too suggest as cornelha, to use memory cleaner ( Hibernate ) and of course I haven't missed this app in any of my ROMs.
Thanks and regards

I appreciate your hard work on these roms and your insight. The problem is that when the memory gets that low, navigating to Hibernate becomes nearly impossible and it usually clears up only a small amount of memory. A restart is almost always required. Starting at about 18 MB and dropping to around 7 MB or below makes my wizard practically unusable for any long term use.

I agreed you but I cannot do anything. I tried all the ways but still the memory drains.

The memory draining exe's are :
services.exe
shell32.exe
gwes.exe
device.exe
Btw, I've tried reflashes, formatting the EXT rom and the like. Nothing works. I just think the rom is overstuffed.
I have been toying with the idea of cooking again. Seems that our Wizards are just not built for winmo 6.5. I actually flashed back to my own Wizflo Naked rom and it has 28mb free after boot. I just dont have any use for manilla or chome for that matter. Sure it looks nice, the messageboxes and notifications look pretty. I will toy with the latest sources in my own kitchen and see if it would be possible to pop out a nice clean rom.
The problem with memory leaks is all over the forums. Some bits just dont work with winmo 6.5. So if you guys have any suggestions for a rom. Make them in the next few days while my little wizard enjoys being dressed and redressed
I have XDA's clean WM6.5 ROM and usually have over 20 MB of free RAM. Right now it's at 21 MB.
It's not the newest build, but it has CHome and runs reasonably well on my Wizard.

Can anyone with a G4 confirm exhno's results?
exhno:
1. Do you use your wizard heavily for data, email, etc.?
2. Does the ram stay at this amount even after a couple of hours' use and without a reset?
3. What programs do you have installed?
4. Which rom version are you using?
Your apparent good luck may help us all.

1. I use it for internet (Pocket Internet Explorer for gmail and news or any random stuff that I need to look up), but not for email on the device.
2. The number I gave was after over 24 hours without a reset. However, you may want to note that it was after I closed all of my running programs. (not with a fancy program, just the little thing in the corner of the today screen.)
3. I don't really have anything installed right now. I have WMWifiRouter, but that's basically all that I have. Before my last flash, I had a bunch of stuff installed (well, as much as you could fit without a miniSD... I still don't have one) and it ran pretty well. I don't have any exact numbers for memory from then. I had a battery drain problem, which is why I reflashed, but upon further reading, that was probably because of poor signal throughout the day.
4. I use XDA2's WM6.5 (Vanilla/CLEAN) ROM (build 21210):
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=3459151&postcount=9
I like to keep my device clean so it has optimal preformance. Once you customize it a lot, it may have the same results as any other WM6.5 ROM.
I will install a few more programs and report back with results tonight.
EDIT (my little fun test as mentioned above):
I installed Pocket Uno (the game), YouTube, Google Maps, and CoolCamera. I know that these aren't the most intense programs ever, but this is the kind of stuff I would normally use. I have used all of these programs for their normal function since I installed them and have not done a soft reset.
Right now, ActiveSync, Comm Manager, File Explorer, Internet Explorer, and Pocket Uno are open. I have 14.19 MB of free program memory.
I closed them all and now have 20.07 MB of free program memory.
After a soft reset, I have 26.50 MB of free program memory.
So I guess I may have been a bit too optimistic earlier when I said that I "usually have over 20 MB of free RAM." Or maybe I do have that much because I don't usually multitask... Who knows.
I hope that my little "experiment" somehow helps you.

Yea, Ivan left in the old one from 6.1, along with the new one.
Modem Link should work well. Tell me if it doesn't work, and then I can quickly add back the old Internet Sharing.
Herald?
Hello
Just a question.
Will this work on a Herald too?
THx
Yes, though some of your keys will be reversed (This only affects the shift stuff like !,? the 2 brackets, = )
You get used to it after a while though.
So, what's improved over the last JustHome in the new WM6.5 build. I see that Widgets is included..... anything else?
(Darn, cant download at "work" due to file size download limits. I have to wait until later to try it.)

It's LIKE JustHome. Some major changes from the last JustHome version is that txting works (you can type at a normal speed), and entering passwords work.
Some things that this one doesn't have but JustHome did have: Finger Keyboard and Notification Manager.
Oh and THANK YOU Ivan for sending us your Opera Mini OEM folder!! We got it working, all thanks to you.
Wow downloading now! Great work once again!

Sorry Ivan, I didn't mean to imply that this was the next version of JustHome... I was asking for differences (hopefully improvements) between Numb3rs and JustHome because ACE said it was basically "like JustHome" with latest build of WM6.5 .
Just finished flashing a spare Wing that I have and it won't get pass th e yellow/orange "Windows" screen. I hear the beep that usually changes the screen to the "tap to continue" screen, but its frozen here. I tried a hard reset, same result. Perhaps it was a bad flash... I will try again later.

And WinMo 6.5 just takes a while to load. You hear one beep, the screen dims, and then you hear another beep, and it asks you to calibrate the screen. That's the proccess. First beep means nothing.

LZX version, flashed via SD Card. I waited very long after the beep, knowing that there is a delay. Never got off the "windows" screen. I am downloading the normal version now to try again. I'll let you know what happens.
BTW, how hard is it to cook a spanish version? What kitchen did you use?
Update: Ok I flashed with Normal rom via SDCard, waited loooooooooong time after reboot for align screen, and it did get there after second beep. Mem after fresh flash is 31.50MB storage, 22.13MB program. Seems speedier than last wm6.5 build (justhome v19). Let the testing begin.....

is your polaris a 2007 model or is it a 2009 model ?
could it be that it doesn't have enough memory free to boot? (try deleting some files in win mo eg... unused ringtones, music etc...)
also... what brand memory card do you have ? sandisk branded ones should be fine ( any class-6 micro-sd should work )
and do you have 512mb of memory free on your micro-sd?
I have the same problem. It can be caused by windows Rom?
Polaris 2007 model
Memory free:
Program ->47.83 MB free
Storage 117.21 MB free
Sandisk 4gb- 3GB free from instalation
Hi!
Great ROM, except no 3g connection.
Or it's just me?
im planning to upgrade to android 2.1... still scared and worried... any pictures or videos to show its safe ?
I have installed this application successfully on my HTC Pola100 (Touchcruise) but have been unable to get a reliable connection to my network. Phone has worked once out of a dozen attempts, other times it just hangs.
Good 3G signal under Windows.
In desparation I rebooted back to Windows Mobile, but when I tried re-executing Haret to try again I just get a garbled screen image, although when I press the keys after it powers off I briefly see the android screen before it's over-written by power-suspend messages.
Is it a memory problem?
upload file to diff link
pls reupload the files in megaupload, hotfile or uploading please... the download speed in rapidshare is very low...please guys

After 2 days solid trying to get this to work I'm well and truly frustrated.
I can't get either the phone or the internet to work. I managed to get the phone to ring my landline and vice versa, but unable to get a speech connection. To make it worse, Android refused to disconnect the call.
I've tried setting up APNs for Vodafone PAYG, but can't find any Android specific settings or a way to get Android to use the APN I set up.

Finally got it working by upgrading Windows and SD card, but primarily found I had to use the Modem App to switch on the 3G reception.
Tried it out properly today - worked great. Many Thanks.

Had a look at the thread, but there are so many messages that I cannot find the one that details the latest build.
Anyway, your build did the job I needed it for, but I reverted back to WindowsMobile after I found my battery ran down in a couple of hours despite disabling Wifi, GPS, Bluetooth etc. and I was suspicious that recharging wasn't working under Android (no charging indicator light)
Many Thanks
ps - now installed incubus26jc rls16 and looks much better. Only problem so far is that the marketplace search doesn't find the apps I installed in your version. Will research
there is a script to change from froyo market to eclair if you want i can post it...
oh and also ... cyanogenmod 6 kaiser version works perfectly for Polaris 100, just the default.txt needs editing
