I hope this kitchen doesn't have bugs like you're rom, witch showing wrong time/date and 3G in commmanager. To be honest, I'm not sure is this true porting of 5.2.1620 at all.

Can you try it, If you don't belived then don't care, no problem.
- What's wrong time/date ?
- 3G in Commanger that compalitie with Advanced Config Tool.
- This KitChenROM base ROM Chinese 5.2.1620.
- So today, i'm repaired KitchenROM and replaced it with all module 1260.

itsn't true porting, i checked all modules and found exactly same as 1437 bugs.
i'm working on porting a true one but really i have some problems with XIP, but all the dll's and modules are ready, this time i will never stop till have a true porting

I'm sure it's ported from newest herme rom(including xip) and oem driver from whiterat's rebased modules,only luanguage folder from Windows Mobile 6 Professional Images (CHS) SDK.

Intro:
- We got the best drivers and settings for TNT series, so i cooked a new build for TNT Series which is 5.2.1933 which gives very high performance and stability, tested for more than 2 weeks. So, i hope this will be nice for you.
- This build done using the drivers as modules, like the official releases.
- as most of you know the good things about TNT Series, it solves the most issues for WM6.0 in Wizard:

- some roms can't start the wifi directly
- MMS 4.2.8.1 sounds and files pluging error (if you right click on the file don't show send via MMS)

too many users asked me to create a rom with adding the touch scrolling, and also others asked me to have more stuff in the TouchFLO edition, what i did for them!!! i create a rom with all professional+HTC home stuff with Touch scrolling feature without the cube, and the cube you can add it manually by an Add On (tested for 4 days and very very well). And all other editions don't include any of Touch stuff or driver. So, we have some new edits on the choices, you have to read carefully to know which version is suitable for you.
Vanilla Edition:
nothing, just the base rom and OEM drivers;
no camera, no MMS, no WML, no Office... etc
so don't ask for the kitchen, just extract official build using Core kitchen then use the SYS folder and OEM packages from this, then add whatever you want.

this is to get shortcuts for useful tasks, new sms, new contact..., the good thing here, if you open it then didn't use it for 3 sec, it will be closed to not do something wrong.
** Comanager Settings:
this is made by nncuong and tom_codon, very useful commmanager editior, it shows you many of choices like switching between the multistyles for commanager and rearrange your commanager icons...
** Dr.YAR 1.6 bluetooth:
many features, like:
- show bluetooth sender name.
- choose a location for files recieved.
- recieve when the device off.
- don't delete MS bluetooth, you can recive from both.
- ... MANY means MANY
if you want to use it, you find an icon on the tray, double click on it.
note: there is a white window if you recieve just hide it then open it again.

- if your rom has PIMBackup older than 2.5, install PIMBackup 2.5 and do the backup via it.
- SMSDrFix not activated, you have to open it to replace the numbers with their contact name on messages.

- There is no IPL, SPL, ... JUST OS and splashes, so i think its safe for G4 users.

- High recommend to reflash an official rom before flash this one.
- there are two update utilities on the rar file, one for XP and the other for Vista. But if you have Vista you have to visit this thread, then use Vista utility (Worked for me "i have Vista").
- If you want to improve A2DP; edit it by any Tweaking app like this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=291770 or search for that
- If you change some thing, you have to wait for a minute before restarting to make sure the device get your changes.

- i didn't add mfrazzz RIL fix for the radio.
- i suggest you to use battery status last version which on the Add Ons.
- because of the internet temprory files saved on storage card, sometimes you find storage card 2 for your SD, this thing happened to me when i open Advance Config without storage card installed.
-Anyone using Rogers canada network, very high recommended to use 2.19 UK, the link on the Notes. (tnx benjaminries)
- If your memory running very low, you have to reflash your device with official WM 5.0 to fix this.
- All TNT cabs on the Add Ons will be installed on Windows Directory.
- The installing at the 1st time you use these series are not ExtROM, just customizations.
- your Device is G4!!! do you have problems not shown with others??, i suggest to reflash the latest WM 5.0 official then use the new G4 update tool from here.

Bugs?
- Bluetooth turns on at start then shuts off. I honestly don't think this is a bug. If it stayed on then it would be, but since it shuts off maybe it's just checking something.
- Internet Sharing disconnects unless you uncheck "On External Power" in Power Settings
- You will get a Customer Feedback message once and once only. Just tap Next and close. (Anyone know how to kill this?)
- I don't have video dialing so unable to test on 3.08.DKv1.1, should work fine on 3.08.DKv1.0 since dialer is untouched.
- I don't use Black Berry Connect, but it looks like this doesn't work
- I don't use Exchange so unable to test
- Delete dword CWSLayout=1 or change dword CWSLayout=0, located in HKLM\HARDWARE\DEVICEMAP\KEYBD for Kaiser Keyboard Layout. Cab fix is also attached.
If anyone wants to modify these roms, all registry settings are intact so just use KaiserKitchen by Jscepi to extract, modify and re-cook. My tweaks are in OEM\OperatorPKG\mxipupdate_oemoperators_106.provxml. PagePool is untouched.
I've been using this for about a week and I haven't noticed too many bugs. Threaded SMS is great. I'd love to get some feedback from anyone that trys out my rom. I didn't use the 5.0 version of the camera or the 4.2 version of MMS that has SMS and MMS separated since I don't use that much. If there are enough people that want it, I will change these out and add album in my next build.

3.08.DKv1.2 Updates! I didn't get too much feedback so I fixed a few things that I found and added UC as Sleuth suggested. UC is pretty awesome especially for us rom junkies. Also, TCPMP 0.81 doesn't work and there doesn't seem to be a fix for it yet.

I wasn't going for a green theme. It's green because I removed all the added themes and WM6.1 is green by default when you first boot.

Now i am testing v 1.0 (with 24 MB page pool and:
1. Old method off making non-english letters 'known' to dial-pad is not working. (i mean jimm98y_smartdialing*PL*.cab for example)
I'll try to see what's going on. I am aware that it's minor problem (not much ppl interested...)
2. TCPMP (v0.81) is not working - i know, there is another thread about it, i'll try to chechk it.
3. when assisted GPS is on GPS is unstable - com4 is not aviable? GoogleMaps can work, but GPS View is dying...

Any way I can get you to cook in User Customziation? The effort is trivial and ROM flasher's coming from other UC capable ROMs will be able to get up and running automatically. I'm promoting this as a standard across all cooked ROMs since it'll work on any device.

Here's a bunch of themes to get rid of the green. I didn't purposely make my theme green, it just is because wm6.1 default is green. erric191 also has blackbars.exe that will turn the bars black. Not sure what issue you're having with the dialpad, but my roms default format is for Tilt.

3.08.DKv1.2 Updates! I didn't get too much feedback so I fixed a few things that I found and added UC as Sleuth suggested. UC is pretty awesome especially for us rom junkies. Also, TCPMP 0.81 doesn't work and there doesn't seem to be a fix for it yet.

Getting ready to flash, but just a thought, since this is UC compatible, wouldn't it be beneficial to the rom user if he/she knew everything that was cooked in? Completely for the purpose of comparing with one's own sdconfig. I dont if UC roms automatically detect duplicates or what, but it would be a bit self defeating if one had to go through an remove dup progz. Anyways, thanks for the post...looks good.

I am using my own theme in every OS i am using. Just after flashing Your bios my wife wanted to play mahjong on my device and it was first time she saw it without my default theme
... next step was writing xml for her tornado ...

... she forced me to do so ...
Anyway, i belive that any user who flashed his OS will also know how to change device theme
btw, I _cannot_ say that troubles with GPS are bug in Your bios... I used 'KaiserTweak' to activate 'assisted gps' - before this step GPS was OK. So, it's possible that settings that KaiserTweak is changing are slightly difftent in 6.1...

Qlphn - I meant to reply to you earlier. I drove down to Duke's in Malibu for dinner last night from downtown Los Angeles using TomTom with aGPS enabled and I didn't notice any problems. I personally don't use aGPS because I never noticed any real benefit from it.
As far as that green theme, sorry. I used to have a Q and it was such a pain writing xml's to get my phone looking the way I wanted.

GPS trouble was present only in apps that are using 'old way' - COM4...
Applications using Windows managed access to GPS were working OK even with 'assisted GPS on' - that's why i said it's 'minor trouble'. Morever, it's possible I messed up sth - so we need at least second person with the same trouble to start taking it seriously...

Amazing, I changed tsk Seems quick smooth. Memory low, when i loaded playlist. I am sure its my issue. Changed from XDA to this & great so far. XDA was hanging after 2 months.

1.- Why your OS version on IPL spl screen its 11.0.3.0? its a copy from TNT roms?
2.- I think That with all that stuff like vista seems to be much more for omap processor, that omap overclock at init does the work, its fatser than anyone but with a battery life reduces, can you do something for this issue? that its no issue i think its great
3.- On my device... an Icon appear at the upper bar on today screen, its a triangle that seems to be a conection by my telephone operator, it cause a cost extra?
4.- its amazing your rom, too much fixes for the tnt roms like the cube, IR, Audiomanager in htc home.

A Humble Request :

Tips and Tricks
1. Threaded SMS :
You can disable the Threaded SMS using the Advance Configuration Tool.
2. In Call Volume (Not 100% sure of this method) :
Have a look in the registry (Use PHM Registry Editor) at HKCU/ControlPanel/SoundCategories/InCall
Key: InitVol
The default should be 5. If it lower than that set it to that. If it is at 5 crank it up to no more than 10 and see if that works for you.

4. Debug Log Problem :
Manifests itself as big log file created at \cedebug.
- Delete the registry key and its sub keys : "HKLM\Software\HTC\DebLogger"
- Save and Reboot.
- Now delete the cedebug folder at root of phone.
5. S2U2 and HTC Mega Phone Canvas (Applicable to 21867 version 1.0) :
- It looks like there is some issue with S2U2's caller-id and HTC Mega Phone Canvas.
- It manifests itself if you enable the S2U2's caller-id functionality with symptoms as : Unable to attend the call with S2A slide bar/hardware button. Only the call can be disconnected using the hardware button.
- The work around for this is to : disable the S2U2's caller-id from the S2U2 settings. For more details see the S2U2 thread. After you disable the caller-id, the usual HTC Mega Phone canvas's screen comes up whenever you receive a call.
6. Uninstall S2U2 (Applicable to 21867 version 1.0) :
- In case you are not comfortable using the S2U2, kindly uninstall it from Settings -> System -> Remove Programs.
- A word of caution here is : Since I have removed WM6.5 lock screen, you will have to live with WM 6.1 style lock screen.
7. Vibrate on Connect :
- Set the following registry key using PHM registry editor
HKLM\Software\OEM\Keystate\UseService to 1
- Note : Not tested by me as I don't use this feature

10. Internet, Google Maps and YouTube in M2D 2.0 :
- Install Opera, Google Maps and YouTube cabs on phone.
- Copy HTCHomeSettings.xml from \Windows of phone to desktop PC.
- Open HTCHomeSettings.xml in notepad.
- Search for <Tabs>.
- Here there is a list of widgets that can be seen in M2D.
- There is a flag called enable.
- Enable this flag for InternetWidget and LocationWidget.
- Save this file.
- Copy it back to \Windows of phone.

11. How to enable Weather on Home Tab?
Method : 1 -
Go to Weather tab --> Add Location --> Update --> Home Tab --> Tap to update weather --> Settings Tab --> Location --> Tick on "Automatically decline location service... --> Home Tab --> Tap to update weather. It should work !!

1. Try the following registry setting :
HKLM\Software\HTC\Manila2D\Home
set "SK2" to "Connect" (string)
set "SK2Cmd" to "\Windows\CommManager.exe" (String)
set "SK2CmdParam" to "" (string)
2. Soft Reset
NOTE : This example changes the default shortcut to Camera to Connect which will open the comm manager

Some of us Elf(in) owners love built-in M2D ROMs. Your release definitely should meet the criteria. I may not be able to directly feedback yet but hope to do so when I have the time to flash. Good job!

- Yes I have been using this ROM almost since last week.
- One of the point of concern is : Battery Drain.
- I have observed that, with 100% charged battery without using WiFi/GPRS, it lasts for about ~36 hours (1.5 days). This includes nominal phone calls (5 - 10) of (1 - 3) minutes.
- No idea if this is poor/average/above average etc.
- Maybe now the time has come to check how to reduce the battery consumption.

just flashed and I can say this is a real great release.... I am testing it now on a wifi... have not tested the bluetooth yet... I believe it would run well on an ELF because there are not much of an application was embedded on the ROM

Tried it on ELF, works great!!
But running really low on memory, after a reboot my phone just has 12.5MB free mem
Any scope for a lite version?

- I will see if I am able to build a Lite version for Elf.
- But unfortunately I cannot gurantee for it or an approx ETA as I am getting quite busy @ office.

Hi All,
- Just uploaded the ROM for build 21864.
- Further removed some packages.
- As usual all the required testing is done on an Elfin. Elf users are encouraged to check this ROM for memory usage. Hope this one is better than previous.
- Seems to have better battery life.
Give it a try and let me know the feedback.

Can you try the ROM with build 21864 if possible?
ROM with build 21851 had the deblogger registry ON which was one of the reason for low memory.

Great ROM, lite and slim an not at all laggy And even the rain animation is smooth
One problem with the latest release 21864 - no mail synched from Exchange can be opened - it tries to open the message when clicked (both from inbox and mail tab in M2D), that can be noticed by "Outlook E-mail" shown in title bar, but the window remains the same and even responds to clicks.
Maybe you shouldn't have removed Outlook enhancement from ROM.
Tried after a clean install and hard reset.
With a previous build no such bug found.
And keep up the good work

- This reminds me to check this functionality as well in my testing of ROM.
Having said that, can you please comment on battery life and RAM usage? The difference between 21851 and 21864 are result of "Get more RAM for Elf users" and hence the probable cause of bug.

As for battery life, I can't tell presently - simply becuase of extensive reflashing (did a lot af that in last week )
Will post back when I first run out of battery after a full charge (but my data might be not accurate though, since my Elfin and her battery is 1.5 years old...
Now about memory: 69.35 of 107.62 free (M2D + ActiveSync only)
