does anyone have the ORIGINAL Universal WM6. I wanna try this version, untouched, on my Imate Jasjar. Thanks in advance

please do read the posts before and also use the WIKI for info. as for the WM6, there is no original version (yet ?!?) for it. only the roms built by our gurus.

So do I. Unfortunately iMate, for some sily reason, does not want the public to get it.
Were did you come from, man? Did'nt you hear that they are not willing to release a WM6 OS for Universal? Read around first, please. ALL THE PEOPLE HERE ARE SPENDING THEIR TIME ONLY BECAUSE THERE IS NO SUCH THINK LIKE "ORIGINAL Universal WM6". Thanks to develpers here we can taste this on our unis, but please do not ask such questions, because it makes people mad.

Um... What do you mean by this?
Did you mean:
1) The Original "Official" Release from I-Mate
Then your out of luck because that doesn't exist...​
2) The Original ROM Base before the Developers started working on them
I'm sure if you PM the Developers nicely they may still have a copy. However, there is a reason that the Developers are Developers - they need to do much customisation and work on a ROM Base before it works enough for it to be considered okay for everyday use​
3) A ROM that doesn't have all of the extra programs (ie a Pure Vanilla)
Now this we can do. Just look for any "Kitchen" and cook (build) your own ROM without any OEM packages​

Why exactly did you post this in Tornado forum?

Simple answer is no, I don't have a mpx220, and cooking a ROM for a phone I don't have would just be silly.

hi my first rom is comming

Hi everyone I got my Kaiser 3 days ago and I've been reading and sending pm to some people then reading some more and I now have my first cooked rom on my kaiser
I still need to figure out how to port the xip but for now I have a rom 0s 5.2.1620(build 18533) so it's a new build but the xip is not realy new
I still need to make some changes to the oem stuff
anyway just liked to share this news as some of you might know me from the prophet forum.

Very nice! Will we be seeing the cube in this rom?

it's still to early to tell but I'm trying to make it work but in this flash I did not get it working.
edit I just tried and I can launch all sides of the cube using it's shortcuts no black screen as on some devices

Does the "Change page pool by paradis_pal / Chopin" link in your sig work on the Kaiser?

no unfortunaly not Chopin needs to make a new pagepool changer for each new build

I will upload a new rom beta2 if you like tomorrow with a more clean interface and a new designe this designe is from my prophet series.
I will go through all apps and see what is needed and whats not.
unfurtunaly the cube is not an easy task to get working. So I'll remove it for next beta so I can test some other apps insted.
I'll also post some screenshots and more info on what is in the rom

Help with flashing a Vox

Hey guys!!
Sorry to be a pain! I have a stock WM 6 Vox. I want to upgrade it to WM 6.1.
Can someone, just briefly explain exactly how to do it?
I checked out the stuff regarding the USPL etc, but im scared i brick this device......(Its not mine, so i cannot screw this up!)

Hi, I would suggest that you use Dr. Gonzo's ROM, since his ROMs come with an excellent readme which is good enough and will get you through .

Now as you have USPL it, you can flash any ROM (of course, except the official one - unless you want to uspl again ).
I would suggest you go for fireburned's Custom ROM, its really a great ROM.

WM6.5 ROM - Mattbee or NightRaven?

I too am a proud owner of a GSM Treo Pro, and have been waiting for god knows how long for a HardSPL to be made, and cooked roms to follow ...

I wanna flash my Treo Pro, but don't know whcih version to us.
Quick question, which cooked ROM do you think is better at this current moment? Which has less bugs / more features? Please hit the polls!!
Also, if all goes to crappers, is there a stock WM6.1 ROM that I can fall back to? I noticed Nightraven has one uploaded, but I've never heard of an official stock rom being released .. apart from CDMA!

To be honest, this is my greatest concern as well.

Great 96dpi ROM
I hope I'm not breaking any bloggers code, but BigE has a wonderful 96dpi WM6.5 build 23511 ROM posted here:

It seems to work with all the applications I use and I am really happy with it. Take it for a test drive and see what you think.
