I need some help with my phone, my friend upgraded my phone to WM6 for me. After that he left town, so I'm lost on how to fix this. Before the upgrade I had no problems with my Wifi. Now I can't connect to my wireless router, I can connect to my friends but not my own. Its very strange, I wanted to know if anyone else had this problem and if you guys know how to fix this.
It is a wireless G router and I tested in Mix mode and in G only without any luck. Its not my router because my laptop works, encrytion and without encrytion. It works with the usb cable and with edge or GPRS.

Having same problem almost..i can connect to certain networks, while other networks work only like 1 out of 10 times....seems im going back to wm5 unless this darn wifi issue is solved..any solution anyone ???

I upgraded from an offcial t-mobile ROM to a TNT touchflo ROM1433, but da wifi is soooo bad. It has such weak signal, cant even reach my router from my bedroom upstairs. It worked excellent with my t-mobile ROM, now i don't know whats wrong. How can I improve wifi? is da problem with the ROM? I have unlocked t-mobile mda G3 device.
having this problem as well. mine will connect for a while then out of nowhere the network will show as unavailable. worked fine on the oem wm5 rom
if you need a rom with reasonable support for wifi you have to go to the older builts. .318 is the only built so far that connects to all wifi hotspots and enables you to connect even in IPsec networks.
hi mates i have a JASJAR which is obvious. and i have a wm6 rom installed on it. the problem is i have switched to many roms but some how i m facing the same problem in all . i have a wireless router cum modem with network authentication of WPA-PSK and encryption of TKIP. this modem is wired to my desktop and i use it wirelessly on my laptop. I even connect my SONY PSP to it wirelessly. the problem is whenever i try to connect my PPC wirelessly. it just dont work. it discovers the SSID of my router and everything. even the KEY is provided accurately.. it tries to connect for sometime and suddenly the connecting process drops to disconnected view.. i have no idea, y its not connecting.. can anyone let me know where m i goin wrong ? or provide proper steps to configure the wifi connection on my ppc so as i can browse internet and use the high speed of my connection on my ppc ? man this is really getting me annoyed as i been working on it for days already pleaaasee if anyone can help me out on this it be awesome
May be due to the wireless class...
May be due to the wireless class... i also have JASJAR and it only have wireless b, and most wireless modems are g. so the class doesn't match and as a result the connection can not be established... same thing happened to me... the options are to get the modem that support wireless IEXXXXb or get a wifi card for JASJAR as it only has built in b class. the card will support class g connections.... just google for the wifi card ( wifi SD card)...
Okay, i just got a HTC ppc-6800 from US CELLULAR, i dont know what the problem is, mabye something to do with internet sharing, idk, but i just installed the WMWIFI router software on the mogul and it starts up and then finally says FATAL ERROR ????? Does anybody know what im doing wrong? is there any settings i need to change for this to work??? and i do have my wifi turned on.

I'm new to the thread and need help. My ipaq 614c's wifi keeps saying "unavailible" when switched on. When I create an ad-hoc connection my other devices sees it and can connect to it. The blue led flashes, but it doesn't pickup any networks at all. I have tried all availible channels on my wifi router with 802.11b and g settings sepretely. It has been working for a few hours when i got it.
Please help?

errrr .... what OS you run ? What radio FW ? Some detail could make it easier to get you up and running again.
Maybe someone in the Sable-forum can help you out. There you'l find several iPAQ threads.

I'm on fw 0.88, os 1.01.04 and win mobile 6 pro. I tried firmware 0.89, and win mobile 6.1, but it didn't solve my problem.

If its a MIMO router, that will be your problem. There are widespread reports of Magics not working on MIMO routers and I certainly found that myself. I could not disable MIMO (others had found that solved the problem) on the router I had so I purchased another standard G access point and all was fine.
