I have owell version of WM6, windows live no longer works. I think it expired. I tried to install the windows live for wm5, but it failed to install. I missed the puch email, please shine some light on me.

I just uninstalled Deepfish, but it still doesn't work.
It still works for me. I have a friend with a Palm 700wx and his stoped working. he reflashed his rom. Still no good. He gets an error window with an X on it. I back-dated his clock to last month and it installs and runs but wont login because of incorrect clock. After correcting the date he gets the X. So I believe this beta was set to expire in april. Maby a new beta is available. Anyone know?
Guys, WM6 built in works just fine. So if you arent using WM6 then maybe you should be posting this in the WM5 section of the forum. Im on My Vanilla at the moment to test this out. Seems my boss has found the forum and likes emailing me links to stuff like this hoping that this will not effect my rom that is in the works for corp. Hi, I had this problem too. The solution was:
1- Change the time of my ppc to any date of 2006.
2- Uninstall Windows Live.
3- Change the time to actual date.
4- Install WindowsLive.PPC_ARM_NonBETA_NoDate.CAB.
This version don´t expire. Was estracted from a Wm6 Rom and works on WM5 and WM6.
Now, I´m using Xplore 1.1 Wm6 Rom and dont have this problem.

I can't uninstall the Windows Live.
mine expired too. i tried reinstalling but did not work. i operate on farias v2. it happened as soon as i downloaded deep fish, so i downloaded a different rom and now it works

I use SP Timesync to keep up my time,, this could work for MSN 2..

The only app remaining is smsOrganizer v1.02, but it hangs my Qtek S100 ITA.
The author posted a lot in this forum, than nothing else, since last update in 04/10/2005 at http://www.zedsoft.net/.

does any1 know how this guy makes his program send u a msg telling to the d/l the latest version when you try using the program?
ie i went to start smsorganizer today, and it doesnt start, but comes up with a pop up asking to check the website for the latest version...
how does anevemkovacs get the program to do that ?
does he have access to control the program even though i haven't been online for months...

DO ONE THING BACKUP UR MSGS WITH SPB BACKUP (MAIL) AND REMOVE ALL

I know it's probably a low priority on most of users here. However i found it useful at some occasions: Windows hotmail (when mail2web down) and send pictures to msn space blogging. I was wondering if anyone figure out a fix ( I know most likely to related to device id wiza200, can't change it?) I seem to be able to get the windows live to sign on initially then after a week or two it starts to get sync error. Happened both on WM6 (smart or pdamobiz) and AKU 3.3 (ASerg3.3 roms). Just share your experience here, I don't expect the real fix until an official roms for prophet comes along in wm6 or aku 3.3.

Live works fine for me using the Smart 1 version 2 WM6 ROM. It's been working for maybe 1 month.
It would never work for me on the other WM6 ROMS I tried. (not tried PDAMobiz and doubt I will)

Thanks for the link. WMlive (though beta) was one of the reasons why i moved to wm6. Complete emails are worth it. Works like a final release!

Ok... Downloaded and flashed it, everything went smooth. Played around and found two things.
1) The calculator font is too dark, you almost can't see the numbers you're typing and when you press "." and other buttons some kind of mask flashes.
2) The camera button don't work, give-me invalid link and there is no camera to associate it to in "buttons"
Other than that all seams good.
Another thing... there is a error on the camera app when you try to use picture themes. I guess you deleted all the themes to save space but you need to leave at least one so we won't get this error.
This one is just a cosmetic error: on the HTC today, when you change the tab settings and let's say you remove the audio manager and put the profile selector the icon stays the same.
That's it for today... I need some sleep now. =)

Having some problems, One is that Live messenger will not open up, I had to install an older one from my desktop. Word recognition is not working. It responds very slowly. I changed the page pool to 8mb, and installed Battery status.
The battery is very good in this rom. I have been running this for 5 hours now and it is at 87%. That is running push mail, setting everything up, Using Wi-Fi on and off, using SMS, Talking on the phone for about 20 min.
Overall, it is a Great Rom

internet is workin through USB normaly , great rom lags a lil sometimes still need more time for testing other wise its great.
one thing -- anyone knows why clock changes to windhoek back when it change it to my country time, or how to uninstall some programes out of this roms to install versions i have or i need.

hey, whats going on... why isnt this ROM working for me? im new to the flash game and I want WM6 on my wizard. I did the walk through tutorial to the T but now I want to install WM6, everytime I try to install this program with the
"XP rom update" , it shows the installation screen and goes through the process as usual, but at the end of it, I still have WM 5... whats going on? what am I doing wrong?

Whats so good about this build it seems all the new roms are moving to it but because of the radio it gives me random taps i.e. when i press a htc home tab it activates a plug-in below this wasn't in issue till i got spb shell where if u drag down it closes the program (i have tested this with a different radio and had nothing like this). Also it seems to have the tcpmp crash well i know of the fixed version but i use coreplayer anyway but it also prevents vtap and youtubeplay which both seem to use a tcpmp like build. I'm just wondering whats so special about this build that everyone is moving to it maybe I'm the only one with these problems?
p.s. cant post this in specific rom tread because i get it on all 19202 build as long as i have it's radio.
p.s. 2 - i know dutty's doesn't but i don't really like his rom's now the pagepool hacking seems to have a negative effect on me.

Hello, I work for Veveo who provide the vTap service.
We have posted a new client which should work with Windows Mobile 6.1 installations. Could you try downloading the latest client by pointing the browser on your phone to www.vtap.com? You should automatically be pointed to the correct .cab file for installation.
I hope this helps. Please let me know if you continue to have problems running vTap.

The problem isn't the program its the rom it works fine on other 6.1 roms (except some on the originals*) as long at its not 19202 with the radio that it only works on it. Don't worry im not criticizing the awesome program .

Actually vTap should work even with the original 19202 ROM. We have tested that and it worked for us. It is expected however that it will only work with the latest vTap client. It would be very intersting for us to know if you do encounter a problem with the latest vTap client (version 143) with the 19202 ROM.

I've already changed roms cose i had other problems with the build as you may have read above. I guess i wasn't using the latest version cose it was a while back when i downloaded vTap that didn't work on that build thanks for asking.
P.s. you don't have to reply to this post looks like im not gonna get an answer to original post so i'll let the post die now anyway a new build is out hope a rom is cooked with it soon so i can test it out.

I have flashed the TNT WM6 build (5.2.1921; build 18521.0.7.0 from the About screen) on my 8125, and I'm quite happy with it. Seems stable enough, works well (although I wish I could customize the HTC Launcher!).
But I am having problems with voicemail and text messages not showing up on the device. Is this typical of these builds? Is there one anyone could recommend that helps solve this problem? An upgrade to TNT's latest?

I dont understand why you use this verion.
I use TNT 4.0 becouse this rom is stable and wifi connect with my preferred network seameless.
This version dont have the poblem with voice mail and text messages not showing up.

I downloaded the TNT 19213 ROM on Solomhamada's recommendation, and it's telling me the Update Manager is out of date.
WTF?
I would think that the download would come with correct Update Manager.
What to do? I'm back to WM5 and about to throw various electronic devices against walls...

Lunch at shpping every day and also in free wifi.
Any ROM different from OS 5.2.318 Build 15342.4.0.01 have an issue with wifi auto-conect in my preferred network.
And i need this functionality.
If you dont need you should be the WM6.1 ROM.
If you need de more stability, try the Business ROM (jwzg).

That's all fine and dandy, but it doesn't help me if I can't download the ROM onto my 8125. The Update manager on the ROMS I've downloaded are out of date, according to the installation wizard. The phone disconnects from the Autosync, does not reconnect, and the screen goes all three-color. I didn't have this problem putting WM5 back on the device. I'm also now losing onboard memory.
If I need a new Update Manager, let me know where to get it.
