request: forum for HTC Cavalier devices

Dear forum administrators!
For some strange reason HTC Cavalier devices have not recieved their own forum on xda-developers to date. HTC Cavalier is great device and being quite popular so far. Should this issue be addressed, please?

Will XDA have a moto sholes section?

I am thinking of getting the USA compatible gsm moto sholes when it comes out... but will it be fully supported here as its not an HTC device? I dont want to get a phone that wont have the community here supporting hacks/development.

We dont have a dedicated motorola section here on XDA as only phones with HTC trademarks are discussed on this site. You can try your luck on modaco or motomodding.. Enjoy.

bummer... oh well... maybe the x3/x10 is made by HTC and will get some love here...

That's not entirely true...there's a section for the SE X1. I have no idea how active it is, or if *anything* goes on there...but there *is* a forum.

Xperia x1 was build by HTC
For that it has it´s own very active forum!

Please make a forum for Motorola Milestone XT

I still cannot find a support forum for my phone Motorola Milestone XT720 (aka Motoroi). Can XDA make a forum?

This forum is for phones made by HTC. Go check out Modmymoto.com

are you saying that all the phone currently listed here are made by HTC?? including Motorola Droid/Milestone, Droid X and Microsoft KIN? I hope not.
I know that XDA used to be HTC support forum. I've owned a HTC Touch 3G once and I can find a lot of support from XDA. But currently, XDA is expending it's mobile Database since they added SonyEricsson Experia X1.
C'mon buddy, open your eye and have a look around in the forum. Then come back here to say it's HTC only or not.

yeah itd be nice to see a forum expansion for certain phones

Admins, we're having more and more users using Milestone XT720. Are we gonna have a forum soon?

Do some research first please. XDA has some non-htc phones over here but almost all the phones here are manufactured by HTC (including sony experia. HTC is the oem)

"Almost" does not means "all". I knew from the start that SE Xperia hardware is made by HTC. But if there is Droid/ Droid X and Milestone, then Milestone XT also deserve a place in this forum. That's my point.

+1 Not so popular ar HD2 but still there are many users scattered across the net

I don't see why it isn't getting its own forum.
its a HTC device, and this is what this website is for. Just because it is considered a girls phone, it doesn't Mena it shouldn't be allowed a forum here.

Being a girls phone has nothing to do with it. Forums are added based on demand, specs, and other things of the like. This isn't a website of just HTC Devices; There's Samsung, Motorola, Huawei, HP, Dell, Toshiba, ASUS, Acer, you name it (except Apple).

Yeh, after doing more reading, I realized the 'girl' phone part is irrelevant
True, this is a forum for all devices. But, it is originally for HTC devices, and they were meant to always get full support.

That is not even close to the case. Devices get forums based on the need. If there is alot of development going on for the device then it has a better chance.

HTC One / Max - Good Support??

Coming over to Android from the darkside and have my eyes on the GS4, Note3, HTC One, and HTC One Max. Lots of debate between HTC and Samsung ... not sure which I really want yet but a bit concerned by posts I read regarding HTC not supporting their devices.
Has HTC been doing a good job of supporting the One?? Anybody have regrets with this model or why to stay away from the Max?

Also, I'm reading HTC is under financial distress ... if they go bankrupt, does that mean no more updates to the HTC One or Max?? Stuck on 4.2?
