Is there any way to seperate these and make it look how it does on WM5?
At the mo my calandar and tasks are combined as one block, previously on WM5 it was 2 seperate blocks, both with there own icons to the left?
Have tried playing with the settings for the today screen on those blocks, but no luck.
Cheers

Have a look at tAgenda.
It is able to display all your appointments and tasks, it's fully customizable and it's free.
Greetings,
BGK
thanks, I've been playing with it for the past 20 mins, it seems to be pretty good. But I can only get it to display tasks with a start or end date.. I like to use my task list as a big fat TO DO list, without any dates.
any way I can do this with this prog?
The Messaging application in WM6 (SMS, email etc.) uses a very large font. You have to scroll a lot to read a lengthy message.
WM6 has screen font control settings (>Start>Settings>System>Screen>Text Size) but these only seem to affect the 'home' screen.
Is there any way of getting the nice small WM3 font size back for emails and SMS's?
The Text Size setting actually DOES control the text size in messages. Sounds like you have some other hack enabled that is messing with it. Pocket Outlook uses Internet Explorer's rendering engine to display text, if you have an IE hack going, it can affect PO.
Hi Looper - did you ever find a solution? I'm in the exact same boat. The font size is killing me. My IE browsing font size is smallest but that doesn't impact the rest of Outlook
God damn it... I had the same problem and spent half a night on resolving it But there You go!
Navigate to:
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Inbox\RichEditHostFontSize
and change the value from 10 to 8
Thanks, Pajak!
This is an excellent hack. Not only does this make it easier to read incoming messages, the area for composing a message is now 2 full lines (instead of the dreadfully annoying 1.6 lines or whatever).
Muchas gracias!
i canr find HKLM where is it?

You have to use a registry explorer
Is it possible to have multiple same tabs in HTC-Home...
For example, I would like to have multiple contacts tab !!!
yes i would like the same is it possible anybody?????
If you mean the Home, Favourite People, Weather, Launcher etc. icons then yes, it is possible.
Using a Registry editor Go to: HKLM\Software\HTC\HTCHome\TabSetting (If you don't have the string TabSetting, Create a new String and name it to "TabSetting" and give it the values you want.)
There you will see the value: 1,2,3,4,6 (Each of these is a tab. Note there are no spaces between the numbers and commas)
1 = Home (Time + Date)
2 = Contact shortcuts.
3 = Weather
4 = Program shortcuts.
5 = Music schortcut. (Originaly it's hidden with this tweak you can active it.)
6 = Profile Manager.
The only thing you have to do is changing the values in TabSetting.
You can add or delete the tabs when you have no use of it.
So having a TabSetting of 1,2,3,4 will show Home, Favourite People, Weather and Launcher.
Having a TabSetting of 1,3,4,5 will show Home, Weather, Launcher and Music Player
I've just tried on my phone setting it to 1,2,3,4,5,6,2 and I did get two Favourite People icons. However, both icons took me to the same contact list.
There's nothing stopping you setting the TabSetting to 2,2,2,2,2,2 to have all your icons set to Favourite People.
Cool...
But my idea is to have more than 9 contacts - inside HTC-Home itself
Any thoughts
Thanks for the info, but with all due respect, having 5 icons on the bottom all linking to the same contact list may be fun, but not really useful.
Slightly off topic, you may want to look at some commercial software, such as Spb Mobile Shell, which gives you three dialer/contact buttons, with as many links as you can fit on it (approx 25 per page).
There may also be some freeware out there like claunch but I can't remember if it allows for contacts.
Hope this helps!

Thanks Alex,
as I said - I would PREFER to have HTC home always - I am impressed... and I would like to have that as my only plugin.
I love SPB for its colors / design and have tried all products before. I am trying to make my device as 'HTC only' as possible... If no options available - I would jump to SPB (I have a PAID for the Mobile Shell and lots of SPB prods)
Thanks
i tried to modify registry and set 1,2,3,4,5 but nothing happened. why?
i also made a softreset. anybody can help me?
Hello. I am a bit unhappy Touch PRO user because I love touchflo interface but would like also to use system tray-controlled software like openvpn or vsUtil.
I already installed secondtoday (also replaced the "Phone" softkey with it) but there is no way to make REAL tray icons appear there, only fake launcher stuff with Homescreen PLusPlus. The way left to access tray-controlled apps is to quit tochflo today plugin thru loooong series of taps thru settings.
I-d love an alternative such as make real tray icons still appear in Secondtoday or a lightweight tray icons porting popup app. Any other ideas/clues how to get an easy access to tray icons from touchfo....
Thanks for reading
Looking forward to hear Your thoughts
I agree.
My office forces us to use the Good email system. That software uses its own version of the email client, calendar and contacts. I'd like to reassign the tray "buttons" to point to the Good programs rather than being stuck with quick links to now unused versions of email, calendar and contacts.
Ira
Hi,
did you find a solution to the problem in the meantime?
Without the trayicons i have to choose between a pretty finger-enabled gui or using my universities WLAN.
Kind regards,
samoht

i assume you are talking about enlargetitlebar which which gives you easier hits on the "system tray" notifications. you should be able to disable it in the registry. mess around in hklm\software\htc. there might be an enable dword you can set to 0. i dont have it installed on my rom and i kind of miss it so i may try to get it back on my next flash.
No, i refer to the system tray at the bottom of today screen as shown in this screenshot.
The manilla interface is drawn on top of it and theres no easy way to access it. I have to disable touchflo in the settings, then start openvpn and afterwars reactivate touchflo. This is annoying... too bad openvpn relies on this.
oh yeah. forgot all about that thing. havent seen it in years. try a tf3d to today switcher thing. ive seen ones that it changes the left home tab soft key to the words "today" which lets you have a second today screen and today items and i guess the system tray too along side tf3d. ill try to find it again.
edit: try this -> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=480475
@The Jack of Clubs:
Thanks so much! This works for me, i can switch between classic today screen and manilla rather fast!

My WM6 device will show email, sms, and mms counts on three separated lines on the Today screen (plain WM6 display).
Is there any simple and light plugin which will show them as three icons on the same line (with count)?
I'm happy with other part of my today screen, just want this specific plugin.
Thank you
Try Batterystatus or Homescreen ++ as its more commonly known. I'm sure theres a skin for that and if not you can just remove everything else cause its a very light app.
