Can somebody please upload the HTC streaming media player files (and certificate if needed) for the Most Beautiful rom? I have the original release of MB and it didn't include the files. However, IE and Opera try to load the player when I try to load an rtsp link and I have no idea where exactly it's getting the information to use streamingplayer.exe for rtsp seeing as I've removed all references to rtsp referring to to streamingplayer.exe in the registry. Maybe somebody can shed some light on this subject. Thanks.

Hey guys,
I have my own HTTP MP3 Server set up that I would like to access remotely. The thing is, I use GSPlayer to copy and paste the link to stream the MP3, but is there some kind of plugin that when I click on the song it will automatically start streaming it. I pretty much would like to see something like the way YouTube works with TCPMP except with MP3s. Any ideas?
I think WMP should work, but EDGE is to slow for steaming media in my area, so I'm not 100% positive. However, when I open up my copy of TCPMP and look under file associations, there is an "HTTP Protocol" Try disabling GSPlayer, and going to the URL of your server in PIE, I beleive TCPMP should open right up and just start playing/

It doesn't. It asks me if I want to save it. I just want to stream it. I'm on Sprint's EVDO with my Mogul and YouTube works flawlessly when I stream it. All I need to see is if there's a plug-in that will force IE or Opera to launch the URL in GSPlayer or TCPMP. I've tried searching all over, but I can't seem to find anything.
Hmm, that's interesting. Could you post the link so that we can try on our devices and see what happens?
Just try to go to any site that has an MP3 file there and see if it will ask you to save it or not. I don't want to post my HTTP File Server up here for everyone to access.
bump.. does anyone know of any RSS MP3 Players? I have some XMLs generated for those.
bump again
I believe SPB Insight has the ability to download podcasts OTA.
But it doesn't support MP3s.
bump.. to the top! Is this impossible as of now? I didn't think it would be since there's a YouTube plug-in.
hello.........?
My Browser (whether it is IE or Opera) will automatically calls out Windows Media Player when I visit Youtube and try to watch the streaming video. And everytime, WM Player will not be able to read this file. Any help out there on how to fix this problem?
This happens even after I have downloaded Sompy player.... And I suspect Sompy player will not play flash video files as well.
Thanks.

rule of thumb: always read at least the sticky threads (and try to search the Wiki) before asking for help. You will want to read the Youtube bible, which is a sticky just abive this thread at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=387986
Could someone please help me figure this out. I’ve tried every player I could find for ppc including HTC streaming, Philips Platform4, Vogue tcpmp, RealOne. And none of them will play these rtsp://video3.americafree.tv/AFTVAdventureH2641000.sdp . I’ve found this site with a lot of these links. The HTC Player will buffer and just play the audio no video. If you can tell me how to watch these rtsp links please let me know.

I've been searching for this for about a month and couldn't find anything online and would hope that someone can help me.
I'm currently using HTC Touch Pro 2 running WM 6.5 and I need to stream live RTSP .rm streaming.
HTC streaming media does NOT support .rm streaming because every time I try to connect it tell me "Media file type not supported."
I've already tried RealOne Player from Real Player website and for some reason it never connects and times out.
I've also tried different builts of HTC streaming media and none worked.
Can someone please point me to something that works?
Thanks in advance!
